It's very peaceful and the hot springs are very comfortable. Looking at the snowy mountain tops in the distance, it feels like a fairy tale. The nearby scenery is also worth exploring. I encountered a small grizzly bear and a deer, and I want to go there again.

AAnonymous UserBeautiful and warm environment. You’ll love exploring every corner and capturing special moments with your loved one inside the hotel.
GGuest UserNice place to stay, in a good location to walk around Radium. Rooms are a touch small, but it’s still a great place to stay! Breakfast is also great! Would stay again!
JJustincThis is my favourite place to stay in Banff! The townhouse feels very new and well built! You have everything in the house and it is so practical. The beds were so comfortable! I love the resort for the goats and deers. You can also see the big horns in the resort though they are rare. There is also a hot tub which we did not use. You can also go to nearby Invermere and Panorama.
GGuest UserDogs barking and howling, called the front desk, little was able to be done till owners finished their dinner. They must have paid more per night while they enjoyed their dinner we had to listen to their dog.
SShanAbsolutely perfect for our needs. Lovely view of the ski slopes. Spacious room with kitchen. Gas fireplace. Underground parking. Spotlessly clean. The only issue was the broken elevator which is beyond their control. Great value. We would be happy to return .
GGuest UserIt is an actual 1 bedroom apartment, not a hotel. The only negative was the location within the building - it's on the ground floor right beside the main entrance. Thus, if you don't want nosey people looking in you have to keep the blinds closed tight. The positives are beautiful full kitchen, super comfortable King-sized bed, clean & bright bathroom, and Roku TV with tons of channels. There's even a washer and dryer available right outside the unit door, but separated from the rest of the building except the unit next door.
Two thumbs up for the low price for all that.
LLyssaGThe Alpen Motel was very clean and well located between Radium Hot Springs Village and the hot springs themselves. The Sinclair canyon is a beautiful sight a short walk up the hill. The room was small, but had everything needed including AC for the uncharacteristically hot weather. The whole experience was very hands off, with the office being at the Apple Tree Inn across the street.
Unfortunately housekeeping did not come while we were out, so we did not have refreshed coffee for the second morning. The power also went out twice (night and then again in the morning) and there was no backup power source. This is of course no fault of the hotel’s, but it would have been nice to have an emergency light source in the room.
