Food is more of Chinese style. As a foreigner might be a bit different. But close to near by stores

Good stay, a walk’s distance from one of the main scenic spots (boat trips). Good-sized bedroom, huge bed, good shower. Varied Chinese-style breakfast. No English-speaking staff, though, which can make communication quite challenging. Would recommend it nonetheless.

Location is good. There are some details that need to be improved. The guy at the reception is so rude when we checked in. He doesn’t speak one word and just looks so moody. The reception gave us the wrong room without a bath. When we go and ask for it they said they would upgrade us. And we just realize that room is just what we booked in the first place. Also the bath can’t be filled with water. Above all it’s a good hotel. But probably won’t book it again.

This is my second time to Kaiyuan Manju, and I always stay in a balcony room with a view. The hotel is the highest among other hotels around. The room is clean and tidy, and the location is very good. Below is the Fish Street. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the cruise ship pier, where you can take a boat to drift on Qiandao Lake and go to Meifeng Island and Moon Island. I don't know when I can go to Qiandao Lake again and stay in Kaiyuan Manju again.
