My dad and I stayed at this B&B for three nights whilst visiting Chongqing. It’s a very cute little establishment in a quiet, lovely neighbourhood with plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and all the usual amenities are provided. We especially appreciated the helpful staff! The hotel breakfast is very good (the soy milk is made fresh every morning) and the location is super convenient. I think it’s better to stay in a peaceful, cozy place like this in a walkable neighbourhood than across the river in the city, where it’s very noisy and somewhat chaotic.

Location is near Longmenhao area (old town converted to cafes, bars), relatively quiet (compared to the buzz at Jiefangbei), comfortable and clean room, and super friendly staff! Breakfast was simple and nice. Love the morning and night bridge walks, sights and food nearby! Thanks Chongqing for being a gem.

We had an amazing stay at Shanjue ! I was very impressed by the cleanliness and we felt right at home. The bedding is so comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and the staff is super kind. This must be one of the best hotel I have stayed in China.

The room is super clean and staff are very helpful. The location is near to many attractions and is not too noisy. They even provide free laundry service👍👍👍

We went to many hotels in china and this was the best one so far! Their service was the best out of the many hotels we went. They pay attention to every single details and were meticulous to make sure their guests stay was comfortable. Love the table and chair setting and they provided a tea set as well. Their blanket was so comfortable and we felt so at home throughout our stay. Location was great without needing to worry about finding food as there are many eateries nearby. We went there during the mid autumn festival and hotel even gave us a fruit platter and 2 mooncakes which was delicious. Breakfast was perfect to start the day before all the spiciness we were going to eat later on that chongqing has to offer. Every staff there was extremely friendly and helpful, special mention to 小坤 who even had a itinerary done and places to visit around chongqing and places to eat around the hotel. I would proudly say their service has exceeded those other 5 star hotel establishments we have stayed in other places. I would definitely stay in this place if i am back in chongqing again. Once again, a big thank you to all the staff of 山觉人文美宿.

The facilities are very complete, and the environment and sanitation make people feel comfortable and relaxed. The service of the brothers and sisters in the store makes people feel friendly, especially the housekeeper Xiaokun, who answers any questions at any time and helps to solve them! When checking in, the housekeeper thoughtfully helped to carry the luggage upstairs, and when leaving, the housekeeper also helped to send it to the car. For those of us who travel with children, it is so heartwarming! The geographical location of the hotel is absolutely advantageous. Whether it is the Yangtze River Cableway, the Old Street Longmenhao, or going to Hongyadong... They are all nearby. The first two can be walked, and the latter can be taken by taxi for only a few kilometers! It is also comfortable to stay. The hotel environment is quiet and comfortable, and it is relaxing! I will stay there next time! The breakfast of the hotel is also good. It is full and not burdened. Your mushroom sauce is so fragrant, and the soy milk is also a little aftertaste after drinking, especially mellow!

My husband and I stayed in a loft. This homestay has a small courtyard. The courtyard, lobby, and room are all in a Chinese Zen style, which is very similar to the nearby Kaibu Park and Longmenhao attractions, so it is a good experience to stay here for a whole day. We can see the Yangtze River Cableway from the room, and the city's interweaving feels different. The housekeeper enthusiastically introduced the facilities and equipment as well as the surrounding travel guide. The overall hygiene is still very good, especially the bedding is that kind of traditional summer cloth, handmade, and extremely comfortable. The afternoon tea was also arranged in a timely manner, and it is not too much to give a five-star praise

The housekeeper Xiaohai is very considerate and always answers questions. He also upgraded the suite with a view of the cableway, which is five stars! The bed is of great quality, just like at home! There are many delicious foods nearby, and you can't finish them all. The Kaibu Ruins Park next to it is a great place to take night photos of the river. There are not many people, and it is close to Longmenhao Old Street. I haven't finished shopping because I have to catch a plane. I would be willing to stay again.

A very good B&B. Everyone's service is very good and polite. The elevator is very big when you enter. The decoration style is Zen Chinese style, which I like very much. There is also Zen music in the room that you can listen to. It feels like living in it makes people calm down. The room is very clean. It is a high-end B&B. The breakfast is also delicious and rich. Especially the housekeeper Xiaohai, who took the initiative to help me with my luggage when I left the B&B. He was very enthusiastic. A ten-minute walk will take you to Xiahaoli and Longmenhao Old Street. There are delicious food right at the doorstep, which is very convenient. I will book here again next time I go to Chongqing.

Clean, powerful air conditioning, comfortable bed sheets and pillows. There are also incense sticks at the head of the bed. It is close to the cableway across the river and Xiahaoli. There are many restaurants nearby, but it is inconvenient to buy daily necessities. There is no convenience store, only a small grocery store with few choices. The breakfast time is a bit late, it would be better if it is half an hour earlier. Don't worry about whether it is a view room. There is a vacant building directly opposite, and you can only see a little cable car in the gap on the side. Let's talk about the disadvantages: the bathroom and washbasin drain very slowly. The slope of the washbasin is unreasonable, and there is always water accumulation. The bathroom shower does not take more than 10 minutes, and the accumulated water can pass the instep. Fortunately, I wear higher hole shoes, and the water will stay outside the door, so I have to block it with a towel.

A perfect stay! The location is very good, right in Kaibu Park, a stone's throw away from Longmenhao, and the South Bank track is next to it. It's a very artistic place. The staff of the B&B are very enthusiastic and the service is thoughtful. The room is in traditional style, very comfortable and practical. You can see 🚠 flying through the window! There is no TV in the room, but it is perfect for us. Adults don't want to watch it, and they don't want children to watch it. When they come out to play, the scenery outside is the key! The key is very ancient, I like it very much! The breakfast is also very 😋! Worth recommending!
