The hot spring environment is very good. I also saw wild deer. There are many kinds of food, which are very delicious.

We checked in on January 28th for three nights and booked three rooms, two of which included breakfast. However, the hotel front desk only left an elderly waiter who did not speak English after 9pm, which caused great inconvenience in communication. The most unsatisfactory thing was that on the morning of check-out, the front desk insisted that none of our rooms included breakfast and asked for an additional 15,000 yen breakfast fee. In desperation, we asked a driver who had lived in Japan for 20 years to come and communicate in Japanese, but the attitude of the front desk was very bad, and he directly said, "You just don't have breakfast, pay up quickly, don't make trouble." Such an attitude, even when facing a driver who has lived in Japan for a long time and speaks fluent Japanese, does not take objective facts into consideration. In the end, we negotiated for an hour to clarify the misunderstanding, and the hotel returned the extra money to us. This experience is really disappointing, especially when traveling during the New Year. It is really bad and disgusting to encounter such a service attitude. It is worth mentioning that the hotel facilities, hot springs and rooms themselves are very good, but the service attitude of the front desk is really disappointing. Another typical example is that one night I forgot to bring my room card, and went to the front desk to request a replacement, saying that I would return it after finding the original card. But the elderly waiter at the front desk refused to give me the room card and insisted on going upstairs with us in person and returning it to us after we found the card in the room. He even acted impatient and said that he was busy and asked us not to disturb him. Overall, the hardware conditions of this hotel are good, but the service quality of the front desk is extremely poor. If you pay more attention to the service experience, it is recommended to consider it carefully.

The staff were kind. I stayed for two nights, but the breakfast and dinner were exactly the same. Overall it was good. The nearby tourist spot, Tateshina Falls, was very good!

This was my first time staying here, but the room was clean and nice. I decided after looking at the pictures and reviews. I didn't feel there was much inconsistency in the pictures and reviews on trip.

All the staff, including the children, were very satisfied with their attentive care. The facilities and service are child-friendly, and the food is delicious.This is a hotel I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity.

The service was good

The room is very old, it makes a rattling sound when you step on it, the children are afraid to go to the toilet at night, the bath clothes have been washed and faded, I don’t have any urge to go there again, the view outside the window is also very bad, the smell of the hot spring is so strong that I don’t want to wash it for the second time. secondary

Satisfactory hotel, convenient

This is my first time staying at this hotel. The location is a bit remote and suitable for self-driving travelers! Rich dinner and excellent hot springs! You can see the creek next to it, and the sound of running water is very nice! 👍

The room I stayed in was clean and the bathroom was also very clean. The staff were also kind and nice. However, the room was located at the very back of the 4th floor of an annex building with no elevator, so the stairs were difficult for my elderly mother who went with me. Also, during the dinner buffet, I sat down at the seat I was directed to, left a mark, went to get my meal, and when I came back, someone else had sat down and started eating, so I moved seats. The staff member who guided us was nearby, so when I said, ``This is supposed to be our seat, but someone else is using it, so I'd like to move to another seat,'' and he looked at me a little suspiciously. I did.

It looks like an old hotel from the outside, but it has been renovated and is beautiful. The foreign staff members were truly wonderful and courteous. Some Japanese people are good and some are not. It was a room with 4 single beds, but it was larger than I expected. It was an annex building with only stairs, but the bathroom was close and it was great. It looked like an old woman in her 70's was climbing the stairs with all her might, but there aren't that many floors. Was the unit bath in the room a bit strange? It was old. A magic show happened to be held to celebrate the 100th anniversary. it was fun. There is also a kids park, so it was a very satisfying trip for us with children! If you pay once, you can play the next day, so it's great even on rainy days. Table tennis is 500 yen for 30 minutes. I wanted to do it, but I couldn't because it was fully booked.The wine server was available 24 hours a day!

My feelings about this trip are so contradictory.

I was on a business trip and there were no hotels nearby so I stayed there. Is it in a place like this? I continued along this road, and was surprised to suddenly see a hotel towering over me. The facilities are luxurious and I would like to use them on my next trip.
