Hotel Riviera Renovated Reviews

The hotel is nearby Gare Du Nord. They have nice mirror at the reception. Comfy bed and good shower. They have a room used for storage of your luggage if you want to go around the city after checkout. The fruits in the breakfast are not fresh.

Chanced upon this hotel when looking for accommodation in Paris. However, I didn’t expect the hotel to be so far off from the city.

Very small rooms, paint is falling off the walls. Bathroom is so small you can barely sit on the toilet and heat in there is unbearable. The walls are so thin you can hear not only your neighbours in the hotel but also everything outside. Considering the price I would accept all of the “problems” above, but on the last night of our stay a mouse ran through the room into the hole that was in the corner of the bathroom. After going to reception the staff gave us another room.

Elevator in bad condition; Ants everywhere: bed, pillows, towels, shower...; Room without air conditioning, it's hot; Tiny room for a 3 star; Broken shower; Pipes visible in the bathroom; Other people's hair scattered around the room. At this point I recommend going to a one-star hotel, which would have better quality than this one.

First and last time for me - Duvet with numerous urine stains - Impossible to close the bathroom skylight (you could even see daylight through a gap) Too bad, the location was good and the room quiet.
