Lanna Thaphae Hotel

Night Bazaar Area
The hotel was surprisingly clean, well-designed, quiet, neat and tidy given its price. Everything seems to be good as new, even the AC unit. The staff were very friendly. Coming from Bangkok, this hotel room obviously has great value for its price. Would absolutely recommend it to friends.
Stay with Nimman Chiang Mai

Nimmanhaemin Road Area
Location is great. I checked in very late, after midnight and they still have receptionist to serve my check in. Very quick and easy, no need deposit. I stayed here before, but this time when I entered the room it was quite smelly, perhaps from the toilet side. It has all the amenities you need for the stay. Because it’s location at Ninman, do expect heavy traffic jam getting to there hotel and out from hotel.

Wua Lai
Snugged in a corner of a residential area is this gorgeous hotel that matches its name - White. Two 4 storey buildings and an open pool area make up this comfortable hotel with big huge rooms! Don't expect too much variety for your breakfast but it is sufficient! The location of the hotel is relatively near to (within 10 mins walk): 1) Chiang Mai Gate Market, 2) Anusarn Market, 3) Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, and 4) Wau Lai Walking Street by the river of Mae Kha Canal. You'll have to take time and walk around this area. If you stay around here for more than 3 days, you will find that this area has many little shops and restaurants littered all around that serves fabulous food at very affordable prices! Enjoy your stay! God bless! 😁👍👌✝️❤️

Chiang Mai Riverside
The environment is quiet and the address is convenient. It's just near Waroro Market, about 10 minutes' walk. The facilities are new and the staff's service attitude is first-class. However, the rooms with river view are a bit expensive. There are big trees in front of them, so you may not necessarily see them. to river view

Chiang Mai Ancient City
Location was very good. We stayed during Yi Peng and we were very close to the main walking streets and festival areas. This hotel was also within pick up distance for the Elephant Nature Park which was excellent and ethical. We were upgraded on arrival to a junior suite with breakfast which was very unexpected but kind of the hotel. Breakfast was poor with not much choice, however the cafe was lovely and opens at 10am. The Staff in the Cafe were phenomenal, extremely friendly and the service was second to none. The room was spacious but basic, the junior suites do get serviced daily and replenished with drinking water which was good. We did have some concerns over the lock on our door, as on a few occasions after locking the door we found the door to be unlocked and on one occasion the door was open while we were in the room when we had previously closed it, this lead us to putting a couple of chairs in front of the door on our last night as we were a little freaked out! The walls are thin and you can hear everything so did get woken up a few times due to this. The pool area is a sun trap and gets very hot, great for sunbathing. Not many sun loungers available, and would recommend changing the leather cushions as they get hotter than the sun. The pool was clean and had good depth. When you check in you are required to give 500 baht deposit, and when checking out the receptionist will radio the housekeeping team to check the room before giving you your money back. This was not expected and took longer than expected. There is a Koi Fish pond at reception which is beautiful, however it does seem very small for the size of the fish living in there! Overall a decently priced hotel close to everything you'd need. However could do with a bit of TLC.

Chiang Mai Ancient City
The hotel is just ok. It’s cheap so you probably get what you pay for. Staff is nice and helpful. Location is good and quiet. They clean the room every day but some parts they don’t. For example the toilet door. The dirt has been there for ages most probably. Also the fire alarm was covered with plastic. And it was off. Now I understand why some hotels burn down in Thailand. This is the worst part of my stay there.
