This is my second time to stay in this hostel, the staff, vibe and bed is really comfortable here. I think everything is fine and cute and I’ll plan to extend my stay here.

I absolutely loved my stay at Shapel Hostel Café in Chiang Mai! The hostel is spotless, beautifully decorated, and has a warm, cozy atmosphere. The manager and the cleaning lady are incredibly kind and always willing to help, which made my stay even better. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and the bathrooms are always perfectly clean. Plus, the location is ideal—central and convenient for exploring the city, yet in a quiet street. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Chiang Mai!

It’s a new hotel. There is a hostel option and a double room. Good location, near by the main road and the tourists street. Everything is new and clean. I was one person in the room. Hope it will be a super popular hotel in a future!

The hostel is very close to Thapae Gate and the attractions in the ancient city, and can be easily reached on foot. It is also very close to the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Chiang Mai Branch, Thailand, about 10 minutes by motorcycle, and it is also very close to Chiang Mai Railway Station, about 20 minutes by grab taxi. The facilities are very complete, the shower water flow is very sufficient, and there is plenty of hot water. There is a lockable cabinet in the room, and the air conditioning is also very sufficient. You can use the fan during the air conditioning at noon, and the wind volume is very large. Bath towels and a bottle of free mineral water are provided every day. Although there is only a washing machine, there is a public self-service laundry room very close to the south of the hostel, next to the 711 convenience store. It is also very fast to walk back and forth, less than ten minutes one way. The hostel is very clean, and the boss and the front desk aunt are very friendly and patient! But the aunt doesn't speak English very well, so you need to use translation software to communicate. You will also meet friends from different countries here. It is highly recommended! Chinese people don't cheat Chinese people, love comes from China

Worst!!!! I came back around 8:30 PM and went into the room and it smelled strongly of paint or new furniture. My eyes immediately stung and started to tear up. A few minutes later, my headache got so bad that I hurriedly grabbed my luggage and ran away. I didn't notice because the window in the room was open when I checked in during the day. After I escaped, the headache lasted for almost an hour. I didn't get my money back. I was alone in a 6-person room and in the evening, all the staff left work and it seemed like there was no one in the other rooms so it was really quiet. The room looked clean but the bathroom and shower were just so-so. Towels cost 30 baht.

I ended up staying again. As always, everything is pretty clean. The cost performance is quite good and the location is perfect for sightseeing in Chiang Mai. You can also drink coffee at the cafe.

A lovely cafe hostel. The owner was lovely and the staff were very kind. The new hostel was well-cleaned and had laundry facilities. The dormitory mattresses were thick and comfortable. I'll stay here again 😃
