Camp Cayla - Eden

Doi Suthep Area
The resort is a wonderful getaway, surrounded by lush greenery and a serene, back-to-nature atmosphere. The sound of the water fountain adds a calming touch, making it a relaxing retreat. It’s a great choice for families with kids, as the converted kids’ room (formerly the TV room) was cozy and well-suited for little ones. Breakfast was delightful, offering a Zen-like experience that complemented the tranquil surroundings. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The staircase leading to the toilet was slightly hazardous, as the carpet placed at the last step caused my daughter to trip and fall. Additionally, we had sleepless nights due to dust mites. While the first night brought a few bites, the second night was unbearable with severe irritation. Despite these issues, the overall experience was positive, and the resort’s charm and natural ambiance stood out.

Huay Kaew
Absolutely loved our stay at this industrial-chic hotel in Chiang Mai! The design is stunning - exposed brick walls, steel beams, and concrete floors create a unique urban vibe while still feeling warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed with modern amenities and thoughtful touches. The location couldn't be better - nestled in a quiet area but just steps away from amazing restaurants, cafes, and night markets. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering excellent recommendations and arranging tours. Highlights included the gorgeous garden pool surrounded by lush tropical plants, the delicious breakfast with both Thai and Western options, and the cozy lobby lounge perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is impressive, from the custom-made furniture to the locally sourced artwork. This hotel perfectly captures the spirit of Chiang Mai - modern yet traditional, stylish yet down-to-earth. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful city. A true gem
H·Flora Hotel

Night Bazaar Area
Members of the staff were all courteous and friendly. Breakfast was okay, no brewed coffee though, there's a selection of instant coffee flavors instead. Menu for breakfast changes daily so that's good for variety's sake. The lady, who I assume is the manager, allowed me to check out at 2pm, so nice of her. A bit of an issue with the bathroom though. The flush mechanism of the toilet constantly made sound every 10 minutes or so. Woke me up in the middle of the night a few times. They were unable to get it fixed my entire 4-night stay. The hotel is literally next door to Anusarn night market. Though the hotel is nice and clean, pics on the website are way better looking. ;)

Chiang Mai Ancient City
The location is good. There is a park nearby, and there are two massage shops next door. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Chiang Mai City. The market has delicious rice noodles, freshly fried pork rinds, fruits, and snacks, which are very convenient.
Chala Number 6

Chiang Mai Ancient City
As far as location, this is in the best location in old city. Next to many restaurants, shopping, wat chedi luang temple, cafes, and massages. The property itself is super clean and the service is top notch. The only drawback is the pool is very very cold. It would be nice if there was a heated pool fin chiang mai just for winter months.
