Chennai Hotels with Bars

The location is perfect, close to OMR, ECR, and easy access to city. The hotel is immaculate with beautiful aroma while entering. The rooms are really large 484ft². If you are smokers, you would need to upgrade to a balcony room as the property is a non-smoking environment. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the sheets are perfect. Each room has a comfortable couch for a work station. The kitchenette is available to use at an additional 3000 inr extra. The dishwasher is available for use. Bathroom is very spacious, and not to mention TAJ Soaps.. Pool, Gymnasium, steam and sauna are complimentary.

This time I returned to Jinnai from Shuguang Village and chose to live here. Next door is the shopping mall, although the opposite club is closer to the new Express mall, the environment here is quieter. (Picture 12 is a corner of the lobby) All the service staff are very polite, patient and enthusiastic. The room was upgraded to a suite, it was really worth the money!

This place was recommended by a friend who stays at Boat Club and I read reviews in Google, Tripadvisor and Aggregator sites.   We booked 2 rooms for 2N/3D stay at Crowne Plaza, Adyar, Chennai through an aggregator site. I called up the hotel to check on our reservation confirmation, but we were told that only one room is booked and they do not have second room confirmation. I called up the support team of aggregator and they confirmed it is 2 rooms and they called up the hotel and shared us an email confirmation. Later I called up the reservation desk and understood that 2 rooms are booked and it’s a confirmed reservation.   Our Check-in experience was good and the staff were courteous and quick.   We were allotted two rooms in old block at Floor number 14 (Room No 1403 and 1405). For a moment I recollected the online reviews I read and the pictures I saw about this hotel weren’t in the same. I thought I will revisit the reviews online and double check If I had made any mistakes in booking wrong hotel. I also called up my friend and told my experience isn’t great and the rooms are looking OLD and the plumbing systems inside the wash room and room telephony isn’t working well. I invited the hotel Duty ***ager (Mr.Josua) and showed him the plumbing system inside the wash room and asked him just because the I happened to book from an aggregator site and got attractive deals, we were given a poor looking rooms? Or is this a standard rooms that they offer for all type of bookings. (we discussed this after experiencing our stay in poor and old looking rooms for 1 night).  Mr.Josua said the rooms in this floors are due for renovation and they would allot us rooms from new block. I told I would like to see the room before we move in. Mr.Murali took us to the new rooms and I could match the room pictures as posted in review sites. I told Murali and Josua, it is outrageous that they allotted old rooms to gullible guests. We moved into new rooms in Floor 25 (in new block)   The breakfast was awesome and service host (I think his name is Jibin).

The apartment is very convenient, it may take a long time to build and the facilities are not very new. The service staff is very enthusiastic, helping to get luggage, deliver things, check in and check out quickly. The restaurant is on the first floor, and the taste from the lobby to the entrance of the restaurant is too Indian. Breakfast is ok, because I usually only make oat milk, I do n’t eat Indian meals and do n’t comment on the taste. The service attitude is very good and very welcoming. The emphasis is on exaggerating the Asian restaurants in the same courtyard. The names are shown in the picture. The environment is very good. Recommend beef and chicken wings, according to their own requirements of spicy degree, more in line with my taste. Tiramisu is fine too. Overall satisfaction.

Room & Food were good. However, Service was very poor, Tea ordered brought in after 2 Hrs! Wheelchair facilities very bad for Senior Citizens. Valet Services needs to be properly coordinated by the Hotel ***agement.

Ambience is really good. Food is decent not the best Cleanliness-perfect Location- decent Hospitality is good but could be better.

The check-in process is quite smooth, but there may be too many people coming in at one time, which makes it a bit busy, but the experience is still acceptable. But there was no welcome drink. I expected it in a five-star hotel but was a bit surprised that I didn't get it. The room is very good, very neat, large and very clean. The room we were given overlooks the swimming pool. We like it very much. We prefer the view of the swimming pool to the view of the river. The only drawback is that there is not hot enough bathing water. It took a long time for the hot water to become slightly warmer. This part of the facilities needs to be improved. There are not many kinds of breakfast, but it is quite delicious. If you want eggs, you can order them directly from the freshly cooked place. We also ordered a pancake, which was very good. Because I had work when I checked in, I couldn't go swimming right away. I wanted to wait until the next day to go, but after breakfast, I saw them cleaning the swimming pool and said I couldn't swim until 12 o'clock, but our check-out time was 12 o'clock. , so I completely missed it, which was a pity.

The booking was not pleasant as we have mention that we wanted a non-smoking rooms but at the check-in we are told that smoking rooms was assigned. However holiday-inn team are great, even the hotel is booked at 100%, they are able to work something out and provide the non-smoking room. Booking via Trip.com is not 100% guarantee of the room that we wanted, thus please check with hotel each time booking is made, as Trip.com DOES NOT ensure anything as they mention this kind of request we will need to talk to the hotel directly since Trip.com does not have any access to talk to the hotel.

Stay was good food was nice and safety was very good and the location was good only the entrance to the hotel was cramped because of on going metro railway work overall the stay was good
