I came to Chengdu with my friends and stayed in this hotel near Hongxing Bridge. The experience was great. The location is excellent, just around the corner from the Hongxingqiao subway station. The transportation is very convenient, the subway and bus are very close, and it is not difficult to go to various attractions. There are many delicious foods nearby, and you can find all kinds of snacks by strolling out at night. I was even more satisfied with the room, which was warmly decorated, had good lighting, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The bathroom is also very clean and the toiletries are of good quality. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive, and check-in was quick. In short, this stay was great. Experience the best hotel in Chengdu, from the environment to the location. The service manager Wang Binfu at the front desk is very nice. He knew that the children liked Nezha and helped us get a small Nezha doll. The hotel environment is super five-star, and the price is super cost-effective!

To be honest, it was basically good, except for the breakfast and service. However, there are more delicious foods in Chengdu in the morning. Maybe we checked in late. The lady at the front desk didn't smile the whole time. We were tired from the long journey. To be honest, we really wanted to see the enthusiasm of Chengdu to welcome us. I don't know if it was the language barrier or what, but I just felt unhappy. The lady in the morning was the same. She didn't take the initiative to say hello. We said hello first. The breakfast was in cooperation with Burger King, which was not very good. It is recommended to choose without breakfast. Chunxi Road is still very convenient.

You can park in the paid parking spaces on the roadside, but whether you can find a parking space close to the hotel depends on luck. The overall environment of the hotel room is OK, but this time I wanted to add a pillow but it was not provided.

Arrived late at night and was greeted by an energetic young receptionist called Zheng Xia (郑霞). She was handling the reception alone. After checking me in, two more groups of travellers came and one of them was rushing for her to check him in. She handled them smoothly and calmly. She’s one of the few service staff whom I observe who care for her customers and treat them with warmth and smile. Way to go. You need more people like her around. Room was clean, the toilet smells a little but it might be the dampness in Chengdu. Toilet and tub were very clean too. Daily housekeeping does a good job. Provided with lots of bottled water. Had a projector screen in the room to watch the dramas and shows you want. Room used Xiao Du, the smart AI to control curtains and lights. Pretty cool. Hotel is a little away from the train station but cycling is a very convenient way to go about the city.

The room design is modern and elegant, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the smart devices are all available, and even the bathroom supplies are selected from high-end brands. What touched me most was the breakfast service-the freshly cooked fried rice was fragrant, the freshly baked bread was served with fresh fruit, and every bite was full of the taste of home. When checking out, the front desk also carefully asked if I needed to delay check-out, and even helped to contact the vehicle. This kind of meticulous care is rare elsewhere! We love our stay here for three reasons. Location is perfect. We chose this hotel because it is central enough but not too much in the center that it would have too much traffic. Close to fruit stands, little street food stalls, and massage places. The amenities and services were extremely good. We made use of the washing machines (they are for free) and the gym! The breakfasts were delicious. Good mix of Asian and Continental. Most importantly, it’s the little things for us. The smell of the hotel lobby which gives an instant refreshment. The softness of the pillows inviting a good night sleep. And the care and attention we have from the staff! We will come back to China because of Chengdu. We will come back to Chengdu because of this hotel.
