Chengdu Hotels with Gym

Loved our room. Big enough for a family of 4. It was cleaned everyday. Housekeeping and front desk were so prompt and staffs were really helpful. The only issue we had was the AC was a bit too warm but we couldn’t adjust it and the only way the hotel suggested was to turn it off. We complained again next day and they gave us a portable AC/fan.

We really enjoyed our stay and the hotel was comfortable, clean and very conveniently located. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. My only minor niggle was that at breakfast I asked the chef for a soft yolk egg, as the Chinese prefer to cook the yolks until hard. He said no. But as I left after finishing my breakfast, I saw soft yolked eggs now available. Perhaps it was my poor Chinese and he hadn’t understood what I asked for. Hope so. Also, I’ve stayed in hotels in China that provide real bacon for breakfast, not the reconstituted stuff lots of places use. Sadly, this wasn’t one of them. I live in hope.

We stayed 4 nights here and mostly enjoyed the experience. The location was good and easy to get to most attractions. The beds were comfortable – not too hard and not too soft. The pillows were also a good firmness and not too thin as many Chinese pillows are. Trip.com’s diamond system is a bit misleading. Trip.com rates this as a 4 diamond hotel but it’s more like a 3 star hotel. The positives: free washing machine use. Delicious buffet breakfast. No noise coming from adjacent neighbours. Good service. The negatives: the carpet was dirty. One of our rooms smelt of mildew so we requested a new room which did not smell. There was a fair bit of noise from the street outside coming in from the windows in our room - such as cars honking, loud jingles playing from shops, people shouting etc, but it pretty much stopped by midnight. One of our rooms also was next to the elevator which was noisy and we asked to be moved which they accomodate.

Fantasic room, upgrade to king suite was amazing. Everything available and more. Hotel staff great, Dining room average only, service slow, food delivered out of sequence. Definately enjoyed the stay.

The room quality was extraordinary. Also the elevators were super quick and not too crowded. The highlight of the hotel is the robot who is bringing you the food if you order it. Was excellent from start to end. Everything was perfect, now you can call that a 5 stars hotel ! The client service was top tier, thanks to everyone, Damon and Rachel who were so kind, professional and efficient. This one was by far the best comparing to all the hotels that I have stayed at. ( around the world) experience was so good that I extended my stay. Definitely recommend it.

We had the suite including the package for high tea and breakfast in the executive lounge, which we found absolutely worth the price Nice and helpful staff, at the front desk as well as shoe cleaning, in room dining, room cleaners.... Very good customer experience. The room was exceptionally clean and also looked after by the staff a few times during the day. Also the pool area was very clean and enjoyable, we just missed a steam room and a sauna.

We were so glad we booked Grand Hyatt for our 6 nights stay in Chengdu! The employees were super hospitable, kind and knowledgeable. We enjoyed all the food recommendations by the front office team! They also went above and beyond to provide assistance for rectifying the accommodation challenges we faced for Chong Qing as we were unable to get through to the hotel without a local mobile number. The housekeeping employees had us impressed with the protectiveness in anticipating our needs (For eg, putting enough water for our 7 days stay in the hotel). Thank you to the valuable Grand Hyatt Team for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable! Everyone of you is surely a superstar! Appreciate each and everyone of you!

Very good hotel in location which is very close to IFS building. It is behind the COSMOS building which might be a bit tricky to find. But if visitor use Amap, it will be quite ok to walk to hotel. This help to catch the airport bus at early morning in walking distance. Variety of food has been provided. Room is quite spacious. Location is close to shopping area and very close to the subway which allow me to go everywhere easily.

Location is very convenient, beside Taikooli 2mins walk. Only not very good is low floor. Downstairs a bit lounder u can hear, at night cannot sleep well. If for bery light sleeper I don’t recommend. If like to go clubbing or bar is very convenient. Beside that have very famous club 空瓶子。
