Centrally located to several bus routes to tourist attractions & day trips assembly points. Just opposites to 避暑山庄 Clean & comfortable room. The Guest House has no elevator. Several staff members helped me to carry my luggage upstairs The front desk helped me to get lodging information of 古北水鎮

It's huge and clean. Nothing negativ to say. The tatami bed is 3 meters large, exceptional!

Wonderful location just at the entrance of Chengde Mountain Resort. Possibly walkable from Chengde rail station (not Chengde South / Chengdenan). Friendly front desk staff. Had initial issue with in-room wifi router. Resolved by changing room. The room itself was located at the back of the main building. Bathroom was a bit odd; showering will wet the toilet bowl seating area. Hot water initially didn’t work well but eventually improved. Note that the reception will require ¥100 deposit; best if paid cash so that you get the cash back on checkout (whereas using AliPay or credit card may take some time for the money to be returned). Generous daily housekeeping with towel changes and bottled water. Refillable drinking water was also available at the lobby. Lots of eating options around the hotel area. Buses to Puning Temple are also easily accessible and very frequent.

Best location and very worth it for the price.

Clean room, easy access

The sign of the government guesthouse is still in front of the hotel yard, and the overall style is indeed a state-owned hotel. Let me talk about the advantages first. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, the service attitude is good. I like the Chengde accent very much. The pronunciation is clear and pleasant. There is a winding path behind the main building, with pavilions, waterfalls, small bridges and flowing water, and the scenery is exquisite. The hotel is in a good location. Just across the road is the Lizheng Gate of the Summer Resort, which is only two minutes away on foot. The transportation is convenient. There are nearby attractions such as the Little Potala Palace, Xumi Fushou Temple, Chengde Museum, and buses to the railway station and high-speed railway station. The breakfast is so-so, mainly Chinese food, porridge, side dishes, tea eggs, tomatoes and eggs, tofu brain... etc., and milk, soy milk and orange juice are all relatively watery. I booked the Guest Building for cheapness. It is in the courtyard, about 100 meters from the main building. The Guest Building is decorated at the level of a guesthouse 30 years ago. There is no elevator (friends with large luggage should be careful to book it). The wallpaper is stained and peeling, the bathroom hardware is old and rusty, the shower curtain used to separate wet and dry areas is moldy and discolored, and the towels are unusable, old and faded, and broken in clumps. The 2.8-meter big bed in the quadruple room is a large bunk bed made of two beds. From the bedside to the wall, there is only a corridor less than one meter in the room except the bed. There are only 2 sets of toothbrushes, but you can ask for them from the front desk; there is no hair dryer, but it is said that you can borrow it from the front desk; there is only one clothes hanger in the room, and I borrowed it from the front desk, but the front desk said there are no more. It happened to rain for two days when I stayed there, and there was a leak in the corridor, and the carpet was wet and dirty. By the way, you need to pay a deposit when you check in, which is rare in other hotels. I read the bad reviews of Jiabinlou before booking, but the biggest advantage is that it is cheap. The price of just over 100 yuan is very worthwhile for this location. It is suitable for budget travelers who have a high tolerance for accommodation. Chengde Mountain Resort Hotel has a wide range of prices from more than 100 yuan to 400 or 500 yuan, from the main building to the annex building, depending on your budget. Overall, if you are going to Chengde Mountain Resort, this hotel is still recommended.

The room has two mattresses put together, a very large tatami mat with thick cushions. The weather is very hot. There is a pair of false eyelashes next to the bathroom mirror, which are quite obvious. I don't know why the cleaning lady didn't see it. It's just like that overall.

The facilities are too old, the hot water is not good, taking a shower feels like taking a cold shower, and my teeth are chattering with cold. The air conditioner only has wind, not heating. The accommodation experience is not very good. The parking lot is large.

The price corresponds to the conditions. The hotel is in a good location, close to the villa and night market. The facilities are a bit old and there is no elevator, but overall, I think it is not bad.

I guess it's quite old. There is no hair dryer in the guest building! It's very inconvenient. The shower water is not very comfortable... There are also mosquitoes. The advantage is that it is only a step away from the Summer Resort!

The location is excellent, and the "Chengde Mountain Resort" is just around the corner! There are plenty of parking spaces, the first choice for self-driving tours! The breakfast is rich and the treatment of a big hotel! The rooms in the guest building are small and exquisite, clean and hygienic! Overall excellent!

The room is located opposite the villa Limen, the location is quite good, there are many delicious foods around, I will recommend it to my friends, and I will choose this place again next time I come
