Family-friendly Hotels in Chengde

After we arrived that morning, we had lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was very delicious and the service attitude of the restaurant chef was superb. The interior of the hotel is in a garden style with carved beams and painted buildings, which is beautiful. The room is warm and comfortable, and it feels like home. If I have the opportunity to visit Chengde in the future, I will definitely stay here again.

We were warmly welcomed on checking in, and were pleasantly surprised to be given a complimentary upgrade, followed by a room with a waterfront view. The travel desk offered private English-speaking tours to various locations; we took the tour to the famed Mountain Resort 避暑山庄. Hospitality provided by the reception desk was graciously warm. All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying over, even if it were just for 1 night.

My experience was overall good, but the bathroom of the room I booked for the first night (single, queen bed) was so stinky at night that I could not bear it. I called the concierge, and the maid came to clean the bathroom (they were very fast= good service) but the problem is in the pipes, not in the cleanliness, (it was very clean) so spraying a bit of air freshener won't solve the problem. I changed rooms the following night. Also, it was quite noisy at night and in the early morning, they should keep an eye on noisy guests. Last thing, but not less important, people were smoking inside the hotel corridors and it was stinky. The management should try to enforce the rules of non-smoking. I understand that know nobody in the hotel wants to call on the smoking clients, but not enforcing the law results in other clients being unhappy too. All in all, I would probably stay there again.

Super enthusiastic and helpful front desk employees. They stored my bag after I checked out! One even tried to speak English, which was not necessary but certainly I appreciated the effort! Room was clean and tidy and they even upgraded me for free! The shower facilities were all in good working order as well.

Separated from the Summer Resort by a wall, it is a quiet corner in the hustle and bustle of the city. The proprietress and the waiter are very enthusiastic and answer all questions. The room is not very big, but it is enough for sleeping. The room is surrounded by green trees and flowers. It is very comfortable to sit in the yard to chat and drink tea. The happiest thing is our dog, who excitedly ran several laps in the yard. Outside the hotel is a commercial street with flowers and flowers, where you can eat, drink and have fun. It takes one or two minutes to walk slowly to the main entrance of the villa. After dinner, we took a walk to Erxianju Pedestrian Street and felt the long-lost fireworks in Beijing. It was a good trip. Next time, I will stay in the hotel for a few more days to have a good rest and relax.

The service was very considerate. The front desk took the initiative to call us before we checked in and arranged an adjacent room for us and our parents near the elevator, which was very considerate. 3. Although breakfast is a buffet, the waiters are very diligent and take the initiative to help guests get food and tableware. They are not idle for a moment. Special thanks to the waiter Sun Lijing for taking very good care of my parents.

The hotel is in a very good location, very close to the Summer Resort. There is a large shopping mall on the front street where you can buy things and eat. There is also a small night market at the door at night. The back street leads directly to the Summer Resort, which is within walking distance. There are also many small shops around, and there are rich dining options. The hotel is also very clean and sanitary, and the service is very good. I will come again if I have the chance~

Pros: - Helpful, responsive and friendly staff. - Delicious restaurant ! Love their food. - There are McD and BK nearby if you want to have fast food during the trip. Cons: - There was a gecko coming out from the tent in our parent child room. It went under the bed and we couldn't find it. The first night, I couldn't sleep because of afraid it would come to us. When we searched the gecko, we saw plastic and bottle under the bed. I guess they don't clean the room properly. Conclusion : Overall this hotel is good for us during our Chengde trip. We're happy.

The May Day family tour in Chengde, considering the location, room environment, surrounding facilities, price and other factors, finally booked Tianbao Holiday, stayed for three nights, very satisfied. The hotel is located in the city center, with complete surrounding facilities. Shopping malls, supermarkets, civic squares, night markets, restaurants, etc. are basically within a radius of one kilometer and can be reached on foot. It is not far from the Summer Resort, you can walk, ride a shared electric motorcycle, or take a taxi at the starting price. Parking at the hotel is also very convenient, with parking lots on the ground and underground. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, and the decoration is relatively new. The room we booked has a floor-to-ceiling window with a great view! The children like to take the hotel's sightseeing elevator the most. The staff is enthusiastic and Pingping is beyond professional and warm-hearted. There is free Tremella soup in the evening, and the children drink it every night. There is a shortage of water and laundry detergent, and the response is super fast. Overall, the hotel is still very good, and I will choose Tianbao Holiday next time I come to Chengde!

Avoid the peak of Qingming Festival, and go to Chengde with a good friend last Sunday. After comparing several hotels, I finally prefer Xilaijia: 1. Convenient parking, free ground parking; 2. Close to the scenic spot, Gaode map shows less than 2 kilometers, 3 minutes by car. Now the weather in Chengde is very good, spring is warm and flowers are blooming. We walked there and took the cable car up the mountain, and had a lot of fun; 3. We ate three meals a day in the hotel. We were very lucky to catch up with the new dishes. The appetizer pot meat buns were super delicious, and we experienced a trip on the tip of the tongue; 4. There is a large supermarket less than 500 meters north, with a full range of things. We bought some fruits there, and the price was affordable. 5. The service staff are of high quality. Whether in the corridor or the lobby, they will greet each other when they meet, which feels very comfortable. 6. The hotel is well managed and the hygiene is very good. The facilities can be seen to be a few years old, but they are still clean and tidy, and elegant.
