The service was truly exceptional! I realized I'd forgotten my charger when checking in, and the front desk not only lent me one for free but also proactively upgraded my floor. The cleaning staff were very attentive; they replaced trash bags and refilled toiletries daily, and even folded my clothes neatly."

"This hotel stay completely redefined my understanding of what a truly excellent accommodation should be! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the warm lighting and soothing music in the lobby immediately put me at ease. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and professional; check-in was super efficient, and they even proactively upgraded my room, which was a delightful surprise! The hotel also thoughtfully provided Type-C charging ports. The room itself was absolutely flawless: the bedding was incredibly soft, and with the blackout curtains drawn, it created a perfect sleeping environment. Even the bathroom was impressive, featuring a smart toilet and a large rainfall showerhead – every detail showcased thoughtful design and comfort. The hotel gym was equipped with brand-new machines. Breakfast offered such a vast selection that it was hard to choose, with everything from Chinese hot congee and fried dough sticks to Western pastries and coffee, truly catering to all tastes. The location is also superb, just a few minutes' walk from the nearest subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. "What a nice experience! Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed and most of the staff spoke english to us , which is fantastic! Check in and Check out was smooth and very fast! I was fascinated by the interior design, our room was clean and top class! Just as I thought it couldn’t get better we went to the breakfast buffet … omw 😱😱 AMAZING ! What I loved about it was the variety of foods and the fact that they cater for foreigners ! The dinner buffet was also AMAZING!

"The location is quite good, and the hygiene is decent. Breakfast was acceptable. The worst part was the TV not working properly. It happened to be the night of the Japan-China women's basketball warm-up game. Although the female staff member was enthusiastic, she couldn't fix it. Then a male technician came, but he couldn't get it to work either. How many hotels are there where you can't even watch TV properly? The slightly plump, taller front desk staff member had a stiff attitude. How does a hotel like this, supposedly designated for military personnel, even survive?"

"I highly recommend the Changchun Xinfa Hotel (Shanghai Road Wanda Plaza Branch)! The hotel's location is superb, very close to Changchun Railway Station and People's Square. It's also just a ten-minute walk to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping.
The room's cleanliness was excellent, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. What surprised me most was the配套服务 (complimentary services). The free laundry room and fitness center were incredibly practical, and the robot service added a lot of convenience and fun. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and responded promptly.

"The Grand Hyatt Changchun is probably the best hotel in Changchun.
First, my complaints: Honestly, the design is illogical. The driveway from the car entrance/exit to the lobby is a tiny, U-shaped hairpin turn! The public area of the lobby has no sofas, so a bunch of people were standing around waiting to check in! The underground parking garage is practically for expert drivers only!
It was the National Day holiday, and we booked two king rooms. One room's key card was ready at 3 PM, but the other wasn't available until 5 PM. Last year during the National Day holiday, the InterContinental Taiyuan's efficiency was far, far better than the Grand Hyatt Changchun.
Now, for the praise: The decor is very new, the rooms are spacious, and having the toilet and shower separate is a huge plus. The facilities are also very new, and the bedding meets Grand Hyatt's high standards. When they couldn't free up a room, they upgraded us. A senior manager in the lobby, who spoke fluent Cantonese, was excellent at communicating and managing the situation. Her attitude was very good, and she handled issues promptly. I hope the hotel can improve its service efficiency and optimize processes like check-in, public areas, and luggage service.
Ultimately, if you come to Changchun, I still recommend staying at the Grand Hyatt Changchun. It's centrally located, and the facilities are great. I give it five stars. However, try to avoid coming during holidays; your experience might be better on weekdays."

MMark NMy family ended up originally booking for one night but added two more nights. The non smoking room was nice smelling, clean and bed was comfy. The location was suitable as we had personal business to do in the area but near motian mall where kids can play at Meland and lots of restaurants around. I was impressed with the service at the hotel to do our laundry, with check out times and overall information. I also think you can check out at 6 pm which is super convenient. The breakfast was good. The chinese side of the family enjoyed it, and as a westerner I found it suitable to have eggs, toast, and coffee. The coffee is an automatic expresso machine and NOT packets which was wonderful and tasted normal for western standards. We stayed during the week and really found the hotel to be quiet and could sleep well. The gym is good as well with enough equipment for a suitable workout. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel and would stay here again. If I did have one minor complaint, It may have been one day when we were checking in two men started smoking in the lobby right by a non smoking sign which caused my daughter and I to leave the lobby for a few minutes so it would be nice if the hotel front desk enforced that especially with the signs up. Saying that, Changchun is a place where people tend to not abide by smoking signs but still be nice to have the staff politely address that.

MM8821****I managed to get tickets for the Changchun Airshow, so I booked a hotel on Ctrip. To my surprise, I found out that IHG had just opened a new InterContinental Hotel in Changchun this year – the InterContinental Changchun Gaoxin. I immediately placed an order, but it was fully booked on the 18th and 19th. To stay at an InterContinental, I decided to extend my trip by a day.
My stay was incredibly comfortable. The decor is a new Chinese-style light luxury and minimalist design, and the cleanliness definitely met five-star standards. The highlight of the facilities was the Kohler smart sensor toilet – no need to lift the lid yourself!
Finally, let's talk about the service. Every staff member I interacted with greeted me with a smile and was eager to help. I especially want to commend Lobby Manager Wang Xue; her service was truly a 'five-star benchmark.' When she learned that we had specifically adjusted our airshow schedule to stay at the hotel, she not only proactively helped us confirm the transportation routes to the airshow venue but also thoughtfully prepared portable bottled water and a sunscreen reminder card.
This stay truly made me feel that 'InterContinental quality' isn't just about luxurious hardware; it's also about the warmth hidden within their service. Even having to wait an extra day to stay here was completely worth it. The next time I come to Changchun, this hotel will definitely be my first choice!

XXuanyeFacilities: Not overly luxurious, but refined, new, and well-equipped. The room was very large and spacious, much more so than the Crowne Plaza Changbaishan where I stayed tonight.
Cleanliness: Spotless, no unpleasant odors, nothing to complain about.
Environment: Very comfortable, and breakfast was surprisingly good.
Service: From the front desk staff to the lobby manager and housekeeping, everyone was incredibly helpful. Seeing we were a family of three, they proactively upgraded us to a family room. When I left my pants in the room, they even brought them down for me. Truly grateful.
Next time I'm in Changchun, I'll definitely stay here. Oh, and it's very close to the snack street, which is convenient, and right across from the subway entrance.

Cons:
- Not easy to find the exact location in Didi App as it’s very new and there are a few hotels of the same name around the area
- Was told that they have disabled the aircond (Cold air) during winter and it will only blow warm air. With that, we were advised to turn off the aircond and we slept sweating as the temperature was not low enough for a great night sleep
- To maximize space, there wasn’t any proper hanging (wardrobe) area that we can use to hang our winter jackets
Overall (Summary)
- Great hotel for its location and with much local delights around. Service was great with great selection of breakfast. High floor view of city. Just too bad there wasn’t any cooling aircond we could use as the window was tight shut. Great room size for family which is a plus point. Happy to come back again perhaps in the summer next time. JJuliganThe hotel is very close to Jilin University First Hospital and Wanjia Medical Examination Center, right next to Cultural Plaza. The soundproofing is good. The buffet breakfast is plentiful, and the front desk upgraded our room type and extended our check-out time for free. Their service awareness is excellent, and our stay was very pleasant. The only downside is that two bottles of water aren't enough; it would be great if they could provide four, like Atour hotels do.

KKerstin KaehlerThis was our second stay in three days - both times because of the nearness to Changchun Railway Station - and again we enjoyed the excellent service (even if your phone runs out of battery, there’s a two day weather forecast on your desk together with water and snacks, s. photo), classic Chinese hard mattresses and pillows (good for our backs) and the history exhibits that remind guests of the fact this hotel was first opened in 1909 in this very building.
This time, we did have time for their extensive breakfast buffet and it is indeed extensive: salad, various types of eggs, oats, fruit, cakes, Chinese dumplings, Chinese porridge (the local “hei mi” black rice is lovely), fried noodles, rice, steamed veggies and buns, toast, jam, various Chinese hot dishes, freshly made noodles, ….you get the idea. The only regret we had: they have a coffee machine - for instant coffee…. Lots of lovely teas, but only instant coffee, alas.
You can’t beat their price, either: RMB 304 for a twin bedroom including two breakfasts and two vouchers for afternoon tea.

3320149****Staying at this hotel with my child during the National Day holiday perfectly met my need to 'escape the hustle and bustle'! It's not a traditional hotel building; instead, 32 independent structures are spread throughout the park. The lobby, the Cidu all-day dining restaurant, and the swimming pool are all in the main building. We stayed in a Superior Landscape Twin Room in Building 7, which was accessible by shuttle bus. The room was spacious and clean. The new Chinese style was elegant and charming, making for a truly relaxing stay. A short walk from the hotel takes you to the wetland lake, where you can watch black swans glide by – much more pleasant than battling crowds at city attractions.
Service highlights:
1. The front desk staff were warm and efficient with check-in and check-out, patiently answering all our questions.
2. Chen Xin, a staff member in the breakfast restaurant, was exceptionally thoughtful: my child had just turned 1.4 meters, which meant he met the criteria for breakfast charges. Unexpectedly, Chen Xin proactively offered, 'Please enjoy your meal, and I'll either give you a discount or waive the charge when you leave.' This simple gesture deeply touched us and showcased the hotel's flexibility and goodwill.
3. Room service was prompt; any requests (like extra amenities or ice) were quickly handled, and the service was polite and thorough.
4. Staff in other roles (such as housekeeping and security) were also very courteous, greeting us proactively. When they saw us with our child and luggage, they even offered a helping hand.
The only downside was the behavior of a few guests – in the breakfast restaurant, there were often large amounts of leftover food piled on tables and napkins thrown on the floor. In the swimming pool changing room, despite clearly marked bins for towels and trash, some people still left used towels and clutter everywhere. While we constantly saw staff cleaning, the sheer number of guests during the National Day holiday sometimes made it hard for them to keep up. I sincerely urge guests to be more considerate of public areas.

FFengjianqianjinYouai Hotel is located in Youai Hutong. The transportation is convenient, the room is clean and tidy, but the sound insulation is not very good. In addition, a deposit of 100 is required to stay in the hotel. The boss has a good service attitude and the rabbit is very cute.
