Raptor Rise has always been one of your favorite 'get away' places. It is a short 2 hours from where we live in the South Peninsula of Cape Town, surrounded by gorgeous mountain ranges and many wine farms. The specific 'Farm House' accommodation is beautiful, classy linens and air con in bedrooms with wonderful beds, living room with fireplace and big lounge area for comfort, it's quite, spacious for 4-8 people, equipped with all you need for making meals, the pool is lovely and the loungers, chairs, hot tub and huge yard, plus outside long table great for shared meals together or playing games. It is truly outstanding in every way!! We will continue to go there time and time again.

This was my 2nd visit to Raptor Rise. My first was with girlfriends in November last year, and I loved it so much I returned with my partner. Lovely, well designed rooms on a beautiful farm in a great location, with stunning views! Horses, chickens, pool, dogs, walking distance to the nearest hiking trail and wine tasting ... what's not to love?!

Had a lovely stay in the Barn at Raptor Rise. Surely one of the largest cottages we have stayed in. Top of the range appliances and all the items one would need for a great stay. Found the private garden with fireplace and braai and lots of wood a great plus factor.

Was such a relaxing peaceful stay loved walking around on the farm as well swim and to see all the animals. The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. Such a wonderful place to get away from City life. Will definitely book again.

The Barn, where we stayed, was spacious, the kitchen was equipped with more appliances that was needed. The dishwasher was also a luxury. The living area and outside sitting area and fenced in garden was excellent and felt luxurious. We were pleasantly surprised

Our guide Mphundo was incredible- so engaging, interesting and good fun. Anyone who comes to Joburg should experience this - so they truly understand the history of this country and also to get to interact with local people. Also to encourage people to not be afraid of coming to this country and dissipate all the bad press it gets. The tuk tuk tour is a great way of getting around if biking is not for you

Enjoyed it very much, would have wanted to stay longer. Quiet and peaceful. Very nice trails to hike. Love the area.

The cottage at Raptor Rise is absolutely wonderful, it is so peaceful and surrounded by beautiful views. The cottage is very well equipped and it is just the most wonderful place to relax and unwind. Your own private swimming pool was heaven. We loved seeing all the farm animals and the two resident donkeys came to visit every day. All rooms are air conditioned and that was a relief in the heat. The kitchen is so well equipped and even has an airfryer. There is a lovely indoor fireplace that we will definitely have to try out in winter. Tulbagh is an absolute gem and we had a great getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay!! The room we stayed in was big, comfortable mattress, and had everthing we needed, including a lounge and table we could eat at. Nice little kitchenette and bathrooms. Beautiful views of vineyards and olive plantation.  Thank you so much

Comfortable stay and would re-visit. Recommend to others. Convenient location. we did not make use of any facilities other than the room and patio.

Everything, from the booking, advice, assistance & support was excellent and the venue, accommodation, facilities, staff etc., was the best we have ever enjoyed. I can honestly very highly rate Raptor Rise for your next get-away / holiday.

The booking process, The Service, Responses from Sarah and Payment options were all a bliss. The facilities were beautifully upgraded and in pristine condition. We will be back !

Have stayed at Raptor Rise 3 times in the last 18 months - it is fabulous! Great location and having access to a swimming pool in the summer heat is a rare find and a game changer! We recently stayed at the new house, the Farmhouse and had an epic time. The house is beautiful designed, luxuriously furnished and spacious. Loved the outdoor showers, private pool, drinks fridges and incredibly well supplied kitchen.

This was one of the best appointed units I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail was incredible.Nothing was missing, it was spotless and the setting is amazing. We have stayed at Raptors Rise before in two different units - both superb and have booked again for February next year!
