Excellent location, walkable to many places in downtown. Restaurants, exchangers and groceries nearby. Metro station Oktogon is right nextdoor. The hostel provides free breakfast, if you spend over 4 euros at the bar at dinner time you also get free dinner. There's a kitchen area in each room unit free to use as well.

one of the best hostels i've ever stayed in despite being so cheap! dry-wet separated bathroom equipped with shower cream and blow dryer, bed has curtains and an extra compartment for storage. the best part being free dinner at the hotel bar after spending €4 at the bar, as well as free breakfast. really friendly for a broke student traveller like me!

Pretty close to city centre. Everything is clean enough. The breakfast includes some cornflakes, bread, eggs and salad, which is fine for the price.

The location and breakfast was great and easy to access. I was in the mix dormitory and the room was quite tiny. I can just suggest having a small lock for your locker.

THATS THE BEST HOSTEL FOR BACKPACKER!!! I’ve booked it for twice in a year. The location is perfect which is close to main stations! The staffs are nice but I personally love their free breakfast and affordable drinks(with free dinner) for the most 😍 The breakfast is all the same but I love those unlimited healthy and fresh food. The bathroom is clean but some floors it has a strong smell of detergent. The bed wasn’t comfortable but okay, and it’s a little bit cold in the winter.

The amenities looks pretty old, which I did not enjoy. Also, the upper bed is without fences, which would cause some danger if you didn't sleep in a fixed position, you might need to ask for a lower bed for safety reason. However, I really enjoy their free breakfast. There is no broad choices, but basic enough for you to enjoy a fresh morning. Please note that they will need you to deposit a small sum of money (5 euro or 2000 huf) so please bring a small amount of cash.

Mostly OK However, Toilets & Shower rooms need indicators of use, hard to know whether it’s being used or not Unsafe bunk bed, should have bars to prevent falling down

Best hostel I have stayed in so far. Great location, great service, helpful front desk, breakfast included and most importantly very affordable!

Best place to make a pitstop in Budapest. Good balance of lively atmosphere and rest. Breakfast and optional dinner are of excellent value. Cleaning issues are rear, and staff are top notch:)

The hostel is not far from downtown, three metro stops from Deak Ferenc ter (square), the central downtown transit hub. And the metro station is 100 meters from hostel. I was received by an unkind and unfriendly female receptionist who did not want to give me a bed far away from the AC. I checked in at 15:30, when the other beds were available, but she was just lazy to change my bed. In the evening as the AC was blowing so hard and I did not want to wake up sick in the morning, I had to ask another receptionist to find me another room where the AC was blowing normally. He had a hard time to find another bed. When the next day during check out I talked to the manager and stated that I was not happy with the unkind receptionist, she got even more angry. However, the front desk manager noted my complain about the AC and said they would be working on it. Upon picking my luggage I noted that my towel was stolen from the towel rack on the fourth floor terrace. Actually, you have to pay to rent a towel, and some guests do not want to do it, they prefer stealing other guest’s towels. I checked out with the front desk, and they investigated the missing towel with cleaners, but did not find my towel, which was very different than hostel’s ones. I was happy that my luggage that was left at the reception desk upon check out was ok.

The hostel is located in the oktogon square near the oktogon metro station in city centre. The only thing I did not liked is the hidden city tax they charged me about 1.42 Euro. Overall, the hostel was good and breakfast was also good but can be improved. Environment is clean.
