The Star Grand Brisbane Reviews

Love my 3 nights stay, the bed and the room was very comfortable. The only draw back is to find a parking space when you hire a car cuz the star parking is expensive at $45 per one time in and out nit unlimited in and out. The other drawback is no buffet breakfast. The location is very convenient, easy to get to the city and to find food and supermarket (within walking distance). The amenities like pool, steam room, sauna, sky deck and gym are great. Overall value wise I think is too pricey for no parking and no breakfast.

The services rendered do not align with the 5-stars hotel as expected. Inside the room, there are very limited drawers or cabinets for storing clothings and stuff, particularly inconvenient for guests staying for a longer time.

This is honestly such a lovely building. Parking was a bit confusing as it wasn't well sign-posted once you entered, but we managed to work it out. There's no need to leave the building, as everything is here. The security scan card area is a bit annoying for lifts, as you need to hold them in place for a few seconds to get them to work.

When we arrived at the hotel in the evening, there was only a concierge, no one at the front desk, and we needed the concierge to call the front desk to help us check in. The concierge service was commendable, but when I entered the room, I found that there was no amenity or mineral water, and I was even angry that there was no bottled water in the minibar. This is completely different from my experience at The Star and The Darling in Gold Coast and Sydney! The Star in Brisbane has a long way to go to become a good hotel!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The property was very nice and clean, offering a high-end feel without being overly luxurious. It provides great value for the price. The location is fantastic, with plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity. Additionally, the service was excellent, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

Good and room has a good river view to see the CBD

Very good view facing towards the river and south bank. Room is decently sized and facilities are new.
