This restaurant is in the suburbs of Brisbane. It is very far from the city. It costs $100 to take a taxi. It is inconvenient to buy things. Even taking a taxi is very difficult. If you don’t like to see the scenery, it is recommended not to stay in this hotel

Really enjoyed a few lunches at the hotel lately. We have a member of our family though who is Vegan and strictly dairy-free. It would be wonderful if the pub could consider some more Vegan-Friendly options on the menu as it would certainly provide us with a reason to return more often. In this day and age not everyone can eat meat or dairy. The Buddha Bowl is something healthier they offer and it was fresh and tasty. Unfortunately we ordered the Margherita Pizza on the Order At Table on mobile functionality it stated this Pizza came with Vegan cheese. We thought that was great. Of course the pizza came with regular cheese and I had to check with the staff who apologised and said that no, there was no vegan cheese on premises. They were very polite but it was disappointing that both the online menu was wrong, and that this fairly simple alternative wasn't on offer. Hopefully we see some more plant-based options on the menu in the future! The kids meals are great value.

I had a perfectly pleasant stay until thhe day before I checked out when someone from reception entered the room (while I was in there) under the impression that I was supposed to have checked out. It was probably a simple mistake, which while invasive is also understandable. No apology, but they are mostly meaningless anyway and it probably wasn't the fault of the person who entered the room. Hadbit ended there I wouldn't have mentioned it, but the same thing happened again when despite the 'do not disturb' sign on the door housekeeping also entered the room also under the mistaken impression that I had checked out. I called reception after the second incident and was put on hold for 18 minutes before they eventually tried to put the blame on housekeeping (and repeatedly got my name wrong, which I wouldn't have cared about if it weren't for the being on hold and the weasily attempt to put what was clearly a reception error on the housekeeping staff). The whole incident left a lingering bad impression, which is unfortunate after an otherwise very pleasant and uneventful stay.

Stayed there with my partner and baby. Was absolutely disgusting. Mattress had blood stains on it. Cockroaches and other insects everywhere. The receptionist and cleaners were nice. But the manager was absolutely rude and not professional in the slightest. Had cockroaches go into my babies bottles, in his cot. In my bed under my pillows and all. Couldn’t walk around without shoes. The door to the room was broken. Roaches in the shared shower and toilet. Even in the sink in our room roaches came crawling out. Not worth the money. When I asked for a refund the manager swore at me, was extremely rude. Not in any way sympathetic like the other staff were. I will be taking this further as it’s a health and safety hazard.

Staff were friendly; the room was nice. The swimming pool had quite a lot of leaves in it. The gym set up was a bit strange; there is a partner gym 3 minutes walk away which is really well kitted out. However the hotel ask you to pay the gym provider directly to go; then bring a receipt to reception with your bank details, and they will then ‘pass them to accounts’ for a refund. Seems like a ball ache - esp with a UK bank account. Breakfast was not great. Bananas were all past their best.
