STANDARD OF IBIS FACILITIES ALREADY FREQUENT BY ME IN BRAZIL, OK. CHARGED PARKING IS ABSURD: VALVES WITHOUT EDUCATION, WITHOUT INFORMATION, WITHOUT WILL, ETC.

I stayed at Wyndham São Paulo Ibirapuera Convention Plaza Hotel twice during my trip (April 3–8 and April 10–11), and overall, this was a very mixed experience. I’m an international traveller so I would say I have my fair share of seeing all sides to a hotel. To be a 4 star hotel and to charge premium rates, I would expect certain things. Let’s start with the positive to the hotel - The location is excellent. From the hotel across there is a shopping mall, which makes it extremely convenient for food, shopping, and daily necessities. • Cleanliness is generally acceptable. Aside from one incident, (on my first night, I found red stain marks which looks like lipstick on my sheets, took a photo and alerted receptionist the next morning for a change of sheets. • Room size is spacious and comfortable. I stayed in the “ superior room” and the junior suite. The issues (and they are significant): 1. Misleading room expectations The room I received looked noticeably older and more worn than the photos online. Doors, bathroom condition, and overall finishing did not match what was advertised. It felt misleading. This hotel definitely need a glow up. 2. Poor service & lack of flexibility Service was the biggest disappointment. • Staff were generally not proactive or solution-oriented. • I made a booking error via Trip.com and tried to adjust the dates. Both the platform and hotel refused to help or offer alternatives. • Even a simple late check-out request (which I informed them about in advance and was willing to pay for) was declined without much effort to accommodate. I wasn’t also asking for hours just a mere 2 hours so that I can go to the city to pick up some stuff before my long haul 32hours flight. 4. Billing inconsistencies – check your charges carefully • I was initially charged for 2 minibar items when I only consumed 1. I manage to catch this on time before paying for it. • Laundry count was incorrect (11 pieces sent, billed for 12). Receipts and explanations were unclear, and I’m still not fully confident everything was billed correctly. 5. Missing basic amenities (unexpected for this level) • No iron or ironing board available • No kettle / hot water in the room • No complimentary drinking water • Everything must be purchased separately 6. Language barrier for international guests Not all staff speak English, which can make communication difficult if you’re not Portuguese-speaking. Overall verdict: This hotel is convenient but not service-oriented. If you are Brazilian or familiar with local expectations, you may find it acceptable. But as an international traveler, the experience falls short—especially in service, transparency, and attention to detail. Would I return? Probably not, unless location is the only priority.

I love this hotel. The highlight is the staff, always friendly and welcoming. In addition to being delicious, the breakfast was accompanied by a sensational pianist (Léo Ramos). The size and comfort of the room is another difference. Additionally, hotels use olfactory marketing, taking advantage of aromas that can be smelled before entering the hotel lounge.

The on-site restaurant, HUB Food Art Lounge, offers a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. For relaxation, the hotel features the Uiara SPA by L'Occitane au Brésil, providing a range of treatments to rejuvenate after a busy day. The fitness center is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, allowing guests to maintain their workout routines. While some guests have noted occasional noise from the lobby area, the overall ambiance of the hotel remains conducive to rest and relaxation. In summary, Pullman São Paulo Vila Olímpia stands out for its excellent location, modern facilities, and exceptional service, making it a top choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in São Paulo.

As I arrived around 3-4am, I tried several times to arrange pick-up service with the hotel in advance but going in a fruitless round-about chase (sending emails, being given useless links, email and number), I gave up and took a uber there, a short ride anyway. But once there, the stay was great. They allowed me to check-out late due to my late arrival and it was easy to arrange the hotel transfer back to airport.

Very suitable for Chinese people to make tea and iron clothes on business trips, and provide two bottles of mineral water 👍

Excelente como sempre em especial a recepcionista Ariadne. Café da manhã fabuloso, além dos itens de qualidade e diversidade ainda tem piano ao vivo nos finais de semana!

Beautiful boutique hotel at a lovely location, surrounded by much larger (but also older) 5 star hotels. Many restaurants in walking distance, especially Japanese ones (Ramen, Sushi, etc)

Check in was well manned and this was achieved promptly. The room was adequate for a one night stopover before flying early the next day. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with shower gel and shampoo. Large shower was greatly appreciated after a long flight. The breakfast starts serving from 4am! It offered a good selection and was tasty. The hotel offers a free bus shuttle to T2 and T3 GRU. It leaves on the hour from the hotel and collects at 20 min past the hour from T3 and 30 min past the hour from T2. Overall a great service. I'd definitely use again if I needed accommodation near Guarulhos Airport.

The transportation is convenient, there is a large shopping mall nearby, shopping is very convenient, there is food on the first floor, breakfast is at the hotel, lunch and dinner are at the shopping mall opposite, there are restaurants of various flavors.
