The hotel's location is super convenient for shopping and sightseeing right outside the door! There are also plenty of dining options. The facilities are great, though the heated towel rail wasn't turned on. The main downside is that it's right on a central road, so it's incredibly noisy! There's constant traffic, and downstairs by the roadside, young people laughing loudly at the cafe were really annoying. We had no choice but to keep the windows closed and endure the stuffiness; we couldn't open them for fresh air while sleeping!

Service was good as always by JW brand, but the rooms are little dated, especially the bathrooms very old. Not much amenities. Service was very good by all the staff especially by PUFU in the steakhouse house.

There is breakfast, a big bathtub, and a large area. I booked a deluxe room type. Opened in 1886, the building is beautiful, the rooms are luxurious, and it is located in the city center. There is also a massage service in the room, and the charge is about HK$760 for two hours, which should be considered cheap in Europe

Our stay at the Mercure Bucharest was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided us with amazing suggestions for places to visit in Romania, turning our holiday into an incredible experience. Her local knowledge and enthusiasm made all the difference, guiding us to hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start our days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to Bucharest's main attractions and public transport. Noted that there was construction surround the hotel compound, but the noise from construction site did not avoid early start work at 6am and also did not stop work past 10pm. This result in noisy environment and didnt have a good rest.

I cannot fault this hotel. So perfectly situated without being noisy, lovely staff, fantastic and varied breakfast (with excellent coffee), a well appointed gym, spotless and spacious. Thank you for making a solo female traveller happy, well fed and safe.

Good budget hotel near the main train station and steps away from the metro and city bus stops. Hotel offers breakfast which I found to be varied and good quality. Plentiful options to be had. My only complaint would be that if you have any tours, or excursions like to the castles, they leave before the kitchen is open. Perhaps they could offer some type of boxed breakfast items for their guests who have purchased the breakfast option but cannot partake due to time constraints. Maybe a breakfast sandwich, yogurt, piece of fruit or a bottle of fruit juice, a muffin option and a bottled coffee or tea? That would make a very convenient option for guests who have excursions or must be at work functions before the kitchen opens. Either that or you really need to refund that days breakfast price if the guest cannot partake. The staff were all, to a person, dome of the most pleasant and helpful that I have come across in my travels. I would gladly stay in your hotel again the next time I am in this city.

We had a good stay here for 3 nights. Clean good sized rooms. Top shower. Staff were really mice. Great location within walking distance to everything.

It was good experience. Closer to bus station and tram station was only 700 meter . The only bad point was lot of noise . No control after evening . Groups were singing and disturbing others . Breakfast was included . Simple and good . But noise made the stay horrible . Must be control after 8 PM . Rest was good
