This homestay is new, nice, clean and comfortable. The service is like a hotel. This homestay is located inside the Yunshuiyao scenic area, and so every guest needs to pay an entrance fee. The homestay can help to arrange a taxi to pick up from 南靖railway station to the homestay with a reasonable price. If you like beautiful scenery, peaceful and relaxing environment, this is the right place as it’s away from the crowded village centre. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the village centre, ie the water wheel, old banyan tree, and souvenir shops, through a scenic route along the stream and under the shade of old trees. Trekking the cobblestone path gives you a good workout. There’s a few tulou (earth buildings) within the scenic area but only 2 are open for public to visit. The others are private. Hegui lou is less than a minute’s walk from the homestay, passing by paddy fields, vegetable gardens and lotus field. You can literally see it from the homestay. The homestay serves delicious local food. I had dinner twice and enjoyed tasting different dishes. Breakfast is simple and includes local produce, giving you a taste of village life. Also, the homestay serves tea from its own farm. I enjoyed tasting different tea. Lastly, the staff 小凉is very friendly and good service.

Our little one wanted to see 'A Yuan's Home,' so we brought the picture book and came to stay. This guesthouse is located within the Tianluokeng Tulou Scenic Area in Nanjing. It's easy to find if you're driving, and personally, I found it even better than the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area – fewer crowds and stunning scenery. It's also very close to Taxia Village, which you can reach by cycling or walking. There, you can visit the 700-year-old Yuchang Lou, famously standing 'crooked but firm,' and grab a meal at the Xiaogqiao Liushui Restaurant. Just a heads-up if you're driving, be mindful of parking restrictions. Getting to Tianluokeng's iconic 'Four Dishes and One Soup' cluster is also super convenient, just a ten-minute drive. The Tulou are truly magnificent! The guesthouse hostess is incredibly nice, and they have a lovely Golden Retriever named Xiao Chai, who is very friendly and well-behaved. We booked a duplex room with a living area downstairs and the sleeping area upstairs. It even came with a projector, which was a huge bonus! But the real highlight was the in-room washer-dryer combo – such a thoughtful and convenient amenity!

The hotel is located at the top of the mountain, it's perfectly nice location. The service staff’s attitude is truly amazing and helpful especially the front desk who is very accommodating to our requests, restaurant staffs were very attentive and friendly, great food, not so expensive and the room is very clean, nice & tidy. There is also a park area in front of the hotel. This place is overlooking Zhangzhou and the other side is Xiamen. During the night time, we stayed at the terrace, drink some wine while staring at the beautiful view. Unfortunately, we’ve missed the sunset as it’s too late when we come back to the hotel. We also wake up very early and watch the beautiful sunrise in the morning at the back of the hotel. Also, there are free drinks available in the room and we got sweet soup and fresh fruits available after we come back from our tour. This is a good place to stay, far away from hustle and bustle of the city. It's 4 km to the famous Ten Miles Blue Mountain and it’s overlooking from the hotel. The hotel even sent us to this place by their service van and offered to pick us up back to the hotel which is well appreciated. After we check out, we thought it's easy to get a Didi but ended the hotel offered their service van again to bring us down the mountain to get Didi easily. It’s better to have your own car for your own convenience travelling around this area. We can’t say enough good things about moonlight resort and will surely give them two thumbs up for their amazing service, it was all so great stay! Definitely this hotel is highly recommended, we booked 2 rooms Elegant & Privilege Queen Room it's worth the trip. We hope to come back again next time.

Excellent service from the lady boss and the staff. From the time I contacted her, she sent me lots of information about getting to the guesthouse. More importantly, she followed up with me to ensure that I am on the right track to the guesthouse. This was very much appreciated as I had a flight delay and that messed up my original travel plan. The lady boss was very proactive in ensuring that I find my way to the guesthouse. The lady boss' daugther is very cute and adorable. She shared part of her orange with me and when I told her that I liked it, she went off and got one for me! Even wanted to help me with my luggage but a little difficult as she's only 8 years old. The guesthouse is located on top of a small hill and lady boss will pick up guests at the bottom of the hill; actually, in my opinion, hardly needed as it's only 10 minutes or less walk up a gentle slope but she does the pickup as part of the service that they offer. The room is very nice and clean. The toilet is western style and has a very nice touch - spot lights are installed on the toilet ceilings and when the nights are cold, you will really appreciate the warmth from these lights after coming out from your shower! And finally, they will drive guests out to 2 of the best viewpoints for the Tianluokeng cluster at no additional charge.

The hotel's location is superb, with many popular attractions and local restaurants within walking distance. I arrived at around 7:00 PM after a full-day Tulou tour and was completely exhausted. Since I didn't have the ******* app, I asked the lady at the front desk if she could help me order dinner. She was incredibly kind and helpful. In less than an hour, my food arrived, and after enjoying dinner, taking a shower, and settling into the comfortable bed, I had a wonderful night's sleep. The bed was very cozy, and the room lighting was exactly what I like—warm, comfortable, and relaxing. The XiaoDu AI assistant was also very convenient, allowing me to control the room's facilities easily with voice commands. I booked a room with breakfast, and I was impressed by the wide variety of food available. Even though I woke up late, the staff continued to replenish the dishes until 10:00 AM, so there was still plenty to choose from. I especially loved the made-to-order noodle station—it was absolutely delicious. The hotel also provides excellent facilities, including a clean and convenient self-service laundry room. One unique feature I really enjoyed was the Chinese classical culture room, where guests can take photos with a traditional calligraphy desk and a guzheng, the beautiful Chinese traditional string instrument. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and was extremely satisfied with this hotel. The excellent service, comfortable room, thoughtful facilities, and convenient location made my experience truly memorable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Staying at this homestay, it really feels great! The boss is warm and hospitable, please let us eat his own passion fruit and taste his tea. Breakfast is cheap and affordable. Parking is convenient and free. Below the corridor pavilion of the room is the vegetable plot, standing in front of the window can enjoy the pastoral scenery. It is very close to the scenic Huaiyuan Tulou, just a few minutes walk. You can walk from Yunshuiyao Ancient Town. If you come here again in the future, this homestay is the first choice.

During this journey, I seemed to have removed my identity as a tourist, and it was more like meeting with my friends and listening to their wonderful life stories. I thought that the trip was an ordinary trip, but it unexpectedly became one of the most precious memories of my life. The homestay is very retro, hidden in the tiles in the corner, the reefs on the cabinet, and the flowers in the corner all reflect the unique understanding and careful management of the aesthetics of life. Special thanks to the owner of the homestay: Dong brother. The warm hospitality and meticulous care made us feel the warmth of family. Not only provided us with a comfortable accommodation environment, but also healed the fatigue of the journey with sincerity and goodwill. This friendship, I will always remember it in my heart. Although reluctant, the journey of life still needs to continue. I look forward to returning to this warm place again in the near future.

I usually do not choose homestay when other modes are available. However in Yunshuiyao homestay is the only choice. Given that 1949 has to preserve the local architecture do not expect 5 star hotel facilities. For all the constraints of a ”min su” the staff do go the distance to ensure they meet the demands of guests. I checked out a happy guest and will recommend 1949 to other travelers.

The room was spotless and very clean. I heard they're switching from Crowne Plaza to their own brand, but honestly, the service hasn't changed at all; it's still highly recommendable. The front desk staff, especially the guy who checked me in, was super efficient. It really feels like the brand change hasn't impacted anything. It's a great hotel, highly recommend it, recommend it, recommend it!
