Recommend everyone to come to Nanyuan Inn! A very treasured little village! Once you're here, you don't want to leave. You can stroll around the village leisurely and drink tea in the inn to relax. Sister Jiang was very enthusiastic and introduced us a lot of things. Her cooking skills were also excellent, and she also gave us a lot of fruits to eat! I will have the opportunity to come here in winter to experience the different seasons~

zhangyaleeI stayed at the Taxia Tulou in Nanjing during the Spring Festival. The owner's place was in a great location with convenient parking. Following the owner's advice, I spent the first afternoon exploring Taxia Village. That evening, I had dinner at the owner's house; the two-way chicken preparation was excellent, and the stir-fried radish and eggs were delicious. Enjoying some of the owner's homemade plum wine was very pleasant. The next morning, I headed to Yuchanglou and Tianluokeng without any traffic. Traveling from Taxia to Yuchanglou to Tianluokeng, in reverse, staggered the travel time and reduced traffic congestion, making it very convenient for those driving.

ErererererererererererereryeOur little one wanted to see 'A Yuan's Home,' so we brought the picture book and came to stay. This guesthouse is located within the Tianluokeng Tulou Scenic Area in Nanjing. It's easy to find if you're driving, and personally, I found it even better than the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area – fewer crowds and stunning scenery. It's also very close to Taxia Village, which you can reach by cycling or walking. There, you can visit the 700-year-old Yuchang Lou, famously standing 'crooked but firm,' and grab a meal at the Xiaogqiao Liushui Restaurant. Just a heads-up if you're driving, be mindful of parking restrictions. Getting to Tianluokeng's iconic 'Four Dishes and One Soup' cluster is also super convenient, just a ten-minute drive. The Tulou are truly magnificent!
The guesthouse hostess is incredibly nice, and they have a lovely Golden Retriever named Xiao Chai, who is very friendly and well-behaved. We booked a duplex room with a living area downstairs and the sleeping area upstairs. It even came with a projector, which was a huge bonus! But the real highlight was the in-room washer-dryer combo – such a thoughtful and convenient amenity!

I highly recommend this place for families with children under ten. The fish pond and dress-up activities in the *tulou* (earthen building) kept the kids thoroughly entertained; they even said it was more fun than the scenic spots themselves.
Adults will also have a great time. Visiting other *tulous* in the scenic areas often means just seeing the exterior, as the interiors are usually packed with stalls. This homestay's *tulou*, however, is quiet and uncrowded, making it perfect for sitting back and enjoying a tea ceremony.
We stayed in a small standalone villa, which was completely quiet at night. The only downside was that the bathtub was a bit dirty, so we didn't use it.

During this journey, I seemed to have removed my identity as a tourist, and it was more like meeting with my friends and listening to their wonderful life stories. I thought that the trip was an ordinary trip, but it unexpectedly became one of the most precious memories of my life. The homestay is very retro, hidden in the tiles in the corner, the reefs on the cabinet, and the flowers in the corner all reflect the unique understanding and careful management of the aesthetics of life.
Special thanks to the owner of the homestay: Dong brother. The warm hospitality and meticulous care made us feel the warmth of family. Not only provided us with a comfortable accommodation environment, but also healed the fatigue of the journey with sincerity and goodwill. This friendship, I will always remember it in my heart. Although reluctant, the journey of life still needs to continue. I look forward to returning to this warm place again in the near future.

The B&B is run by a young couple. The overall building resembles an earth building in appearance, and the interior has a standard hotel-like layout. The decoration is in a nostalgic campus style, but the hardware facilities are not outdated. You can see the subtle care that the owner put into the room design. There will be several modes of room lighting to suit various needs. The wet and dry partitions in the bathroom are relatively reasonable, and the sewers are smooth and do not accumulate water. The water heater has a large capacity, so you can take a comfortable bath without any problem. It has its own parking lot and is very convenient for self-driving. The location of the B&B is very close to the viewing platform of Four Dishes and One Soup, which has the advantage of seeing the lights and entering the village at night. The landlady usually drinks tea in the front hall. When you pass by and she is free, she will invite you to drink tea and chat with her. The boss will tell you about travel strategies when he has free time, and even take you for a walk in person.

My experience was very positive. The facilities were clean and well organized, and the service was polite and efficient. Everything was exactly as described and the overall process was smooth and without any issues. I would choose it again for a future trip and I would recommend it to other travelers, especially for business trips where reliability and comfort are important.

Overall, it was a pretty good experience. I booked a courtyard room on the first floor, which was semi-private... because there was no partition between the courtyard of the room next door and the one next door; you had to pass through the courtyard of the room next door to leave the hotel. Fortunately, no one was staying in the room next door during my stay, so I had the courtyard to myself. It would have been better if there was a door, especially for people with pets. The room was small, but the courtyard helped alleviate that... the cleanliness of the washbasin could be improved. The breakfast was also very good and quite refined. It would be even better if there was an unsweetened option for soy milk. The guesthouse has its own bar and coffee shop, which is a nice touch. Staying at this place in Yunshuiyao would have met all my needs.

The setting and layout of the room are very user-friendly, the details are very good, and there is not much to say about hygiene. The housekeeper actually built a service group the day before check-in. If there is any problem, he will give answers in time. This is very safe. We will be very enthusiastic to introduce the facilities and equipment of the room. Use and precautions, very intimate, there are fruits and drinks, and sweet soup will be sent as a supper in the evening, I love it.

junx1990The front desk staff are enthusiastic and proactive in saying hello. The room environment and facilities are very new and the sanitary conditions are also good. After all, it has just opened. The only shortcomings are that there is no place to hang clothes in the bathroom and the supply of breakfast food is not very timely. I hope that improvements can be made in the future.
