BBrian_034I stayed here for one night while visiting my wife's hometown. When I arrived to check in, the front desk staff seemed shy and intimidated. I'm a foreigner, and I think their English was very limited. They only spoke to my wife and never really looked at me. The room was very modern, in fact, a bit too modern. Everything was automated, even the curtains. I spent 10 to 15 minutes trying to figure out how everything worked. Unfortunately, the section of the city where the hotel is located experienced several power failures while I was there. Whenever the power went out and came back on, my automated room would reset to the default settings. I also found several hairs and what appeared to be a spot of blood on one of my pillows. Finding that made me question the cleanliness of my room. Ultimately, I decided to check out a day early and relocate to another hotel down the road, where I had a much better experience. (Please see the photos for the funny English spellings!)

The breakfast is also very delicious 😋 The overall price is high, the stay experience is very good, I will choose this next time I travel, it is recommended to stay.

GGuest UserThis was our second time staying at this hotel, visiting family and doing some sightseeing with my family of three. The environment and location are both quite good. We originally considered the Wyndham, but this hotel is newer. They even have robots deliver food to your room! However, I really have to complain about a few things. The shower water temperature was all over the place – sometimes scorching hot, almost boiling, and then suddenly freezing cold, constantly fluctuating. It was really frustrating. There's a master switch that turns off all the lights in the room, but it also turns off the air conditioning. I woke up at 3 AM sweating and had to get up to turn it back on. The soundproofing is also quite poor; you can hear noises from both across the hall and next door. Perhaps it's a business hotel, so not having a child safety barrier is understandable, but it would be great if they could add one, as it's not a high-cost item.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the center of the city, next to a shopping mall, with a few children's entertainment facilities. It is also close to Walmart and a Chinese restaurant for breakfast. it's within walking distance to the harbor side and 二馬路walking street. The hotel itself is classic but new, clean, and spacious. The breakfast is normal and average. with basic porridge, fruit, Chinese dishes and vegetables, western breakfast, egg, coffee, tea, etc.
Posh outlook and inside. I love it and will definately will come back for next visit.

外觀和內裝都很豪華。我很喜歡它並且下次一定會再來。

GGuest UserMy stay at the Hilton Shanwei was fantastic! The concierge, Rainbow, was incredibly helpful, sharing tips for my visit. I stayed for two nights and was upgraded to an amazing sea-view room, which was incredibly relaxing. I was welcomed with warm, sweet cookies upon arrival – a lovely touch! The hotel's breakfast was a real highlight, featuring local specialties like Chaoshan beef kway teow, rice rolls, and thin pancakes, all delicious. Every morning, the omelet chef even made personalized eggs for me, which brightened my day. The hotel's location is convenient, and the complimentary travel photography session was very professional, resulting in beautiful shots at Black Sand Beach, Wind Sail Chapel, and the beach itself. 💕

SSilksThe location of the hotel was excellent for our purposes as it was close to the places we wanted to go to/see. We appreciated that our room didn't reek of cigarette smoke. The mattress and pillows guaranteed a good night's sleep. Our check-in experience was quick and smooth and the ladies at reception desk were so friendly and helpful.

GGuest UserThe hotel, which I chose blindly without doing any research, was actually quite good and worth the price. Perhaps because it's the off-season, the prices weren't high, and it seems like most of the hotels in the area are apartments. The room was well-equipped, and they generally provided disposable toiletries, which was reassuring. The cleanliness wasn't as bad as some reviews mentioned. The room was very close to the beach, probably about 50 meters as the crow flies; it's only a two- or three-minute walk to the sand. It's great value for money; for around 100 yuan, you can't really complain.
