NNgMoonI was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future

Mmary ann mislanRoom is big, clean and has a nice view. Great swimming experience and sauna, there’s a gym too. The room is near the elevator as I requested and the receptionist is very accommodating. Bring your own slippers specially if you are planning to use the swimming pool.

AAlanSpivackA great hotel in a prime location. The Radisson Blu is situated right on the harbor. It is surrounded by iconic locations, great restaurants and attractions. The CN tower and Roger Center are just a few minutes walk. You can walk along the harbor boardwalk or sit in a nice cafe and watch planes take off and land at the small island airport just across the water.

GGuest UserThe room was a bit small, but still big enough to open two large suitcases. The hotel is historic, and the bathroom facilities seem to have been renovated, so it doesn't feel run-down, though the water pressure was quite low. The bedding was comfortable. There's an ice machine on my floor, and a LCBO (liquor store) connected to the underground level on B1, which is great for those who enjoy a drink. Since it was our anniversary, the receptionist gave us a room with a view of the CN Tower, which was a nice touch, and the chocolates we received at check-in were also delicious. The hotel's B1 level connects directly to the CN Tower, so the location is absolutely unbeatable. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

GGuest UserAbsolutely perfect! The location and room size were both ideal. The front desk staff were also very friendly! There's an open space in front of the hotel, which made calling an Uber super convenient! The room also had a large fridge and a wardrobe, which was very handy!

JJane10219We had a twin room, and it was quite small, but the 1.35m beds were decent. The shower water pressure, however, was absolutely unacceptable – it was so low that a woman washing her hair would easily take 40 minutes to rinse it properly. You can just imagine how weak it was!
The hotel's location is excellent. We didn't use public transport, but there's a station right outside the hotel, which is super convenient. You can walk to all the city's attractions, which was great fun. The only downside is being in the city center; there's constant noise from police sirens, ambulances, or fire trucks.
Initially, the price was 3.5K per night, but then it suddenly dropped to 1.5K. I'm not sure why, but it worked out well for us.

11100904065The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was of good quality, and the transportation was convenient. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the shuttle bus was punctual and on time. It's a Holiday Inn that's very suitable for layovers. Although the hotel decor isn't luxurious, it's not as run-down as some reviews claim; I'd say the facilities are actually well-maintained. The only negative experience was with the shuttle bus driver in the morning. He just stood at the bus door waiting for tips. If he had helped with luggage, a tip would be deserved. This guy didn't even get off to help; he just tidied up the luggage rack on the bus, and then extended his hand to help steady us when we got off, all while expecting a tip. That's a bit much. You should provide good service to earn a tip, not just hold out your hand without doing any work.

GGuest UserThe location is great, right outside there's a bus stop, and the subway isn't too far either. The only thing is there are so many key cards needed to get through all the doors – I even had to take my room card with me to the shower and toilet! Some of the front desk staff were super friendly though; one even helped me carry my suitcase upstairs (this hostel doesn't have an elevator, and there's no laundry room here, but you can pay to do laundry at a place across the street). Overall, I think it's pretty good! There were some homeless people outside, but they seemed harmless.
