Truly enjoyed my stay at ibis budget bordeaux centre gare saint jean. The staff were very friendly, helpful and the stay is comfortable and pleasant. The room is spacious and very clean. Baggage storage is available as the hotel as well. Hotel is well situated near subway station which is really convenient.

Overall very good for the price and location if you need to take an early train. The staff was very helpful. And you can order food delivery from the lobby. It super useful. Will go again. The staff was helpful.

This hotel is quite good value for money because it is right across from st jean train station. But there is no water or hairdryer, toothbrushes are not provided. I asked the front desk to see how to solve the drinking water, they asked me to pay Euro 20 as a deposit, which uses their hot water kettle to boil water to drink. It was quite strange, as other hotels would have provided drinking water.

The hotel's rules are very strange. You can store your luggage for free before checking in, but after checking out, you will be charged a storage fee of 3 euros per piece of luggage. We had to check in two days later, but the hotel thought we were storing our luggage after checking out, not before checking in, so they charged us a fee.

It's a very simple hotel, close to the train station. The bathroom facilities in the room are very small. The inconvenience is that there is no hair dryer, so you have to go downstairs to borrow one. It's a bit troublesome to pay a deposit. It's not suitable for multiple days of stay. I only stayed for one night and it was barely acceptable.

The toilet and shower are microscopic.. the child's bed was not made and at the reception they told me that I should make it myself, but the thing is that there was no bed linen.. in general, I do not know where such reviews come from, but I would not come back here, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Perhaps it is convenient for single people for one night.. but still, it is some kind of snake pit. Bad smell, bad plumbing, dirty. Breakfast is very poor. There are at least three ibis stores near Bordeaux train station. I didn't go to the other two, but I was very satisfied with this one. The hotel is just opposite the station, 100 meters after the tram line. You can see part of Bordeaux from the room, and the breakfast is quite rich. Because there is a tram and bus stop in front of the train station, it is very convenient to travel. Later, I bought a 2-day card and took the tram to visit almost half of Bordeaux.
