The location is great, walking distance to everywhere in the city, also close to museum and a large park. The food is so great in the hotel restaurant, ‘today’s menu’ is quite a good option.

The hotel is in a good location with complete surrounding facilities. However, there was a paint smell when I first checked in, and it still couldn't be dissipated after opening the window, which was a bit disappointing. However, I went to the front desk and they quickly replaced it with a good attitude. The breakfast category is average.

Every November, I attend the exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany. The hotels around Düsseldorf & Cologne are ridiculously expensive, so I booked this Bochum hotel. I have stayed here before when I was with a group. Although it is 48 kilometers away from the exhibition hall and takes 1 hour to drive, it is very cost-effective. When I checked in, I upgraded to a single superior room with a kitchen. The room was very large. The 19 euro breakfast was also very rich. There was occasionally a buffet dinner in the evening. The parking space at the entrance of the hotel was charged. The area around the hotel is very lively. It is very close to the commercial street of Bochum. Large supermarkets, daily necessities stores, DM stores, and pharmacies are within walking distance. Brand watches can also be bought. The store is open from 9:00 to 20:00 from Monday to Saturday. You can come back and have a look after the exhibition. On Sundays, everything except bakeries and restaurants is closed.
