Stayed at the Ashley Victoria for two nights and the room was pleasant and clean and the bathroom spotless and the facilities in the hotel great. Breakfast was great and the staff excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely use the hotel again. Easy to fine and had on site parking at £5 a night. Thank you to the staff

Location is great. Stayed at this hotel for a few nights. Breakfast tasted good but I would not call it a buffet as when the food is gone you have to wait quite a while for more to come, so it’s a lot of queuing. Sometimes it felt like the management found us difficult for simply asking for toilet paper, or the bins to be changed. Overall it’s an okay hotel, probably would try somewhere else if I visited Blackpool again.

I have stayed at this hotel and overall it is an average hotel. Here is my review: First of all, the hotel's location is relatively convenient. It is located in the city center, with many restaurants and shops nearby, and the transportation is also relatively convenient. This satisfies me. However, the hotel rooms are a bit dated and the furniture and decor need to be updated. The bed and bedding are quite comfortable, but overall the cleanliness of the room could be better. Breakfast is buffet style and provides some basic choices, but the variety is relatively limited and the quality is average. The service attitude of the staff was acceptable, but it lacked some warmth and care and did not make me feel like a home away from home. Overall, this hotel is suitable for travelers looking for affordable accommodation, but if you have higher expectations for comfort and service, you may want to consider other options. I hope the hotel can improve the room decoration and service level in the future.

This hotel is run by a lovely family who live onsite and do everything they can to make you comfortable. They have some great family rooms which actually have seperate bedrooms rather than just putting several beds into a single room, so if you have young children, they can go to bed early and you still have your own space to avoid waking them. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything you need including drinks making facilities, complimentary bottled water and toiletries. The only reason this isn't a 5 out of 5 review is because there were some minor maintenance issues, like the door not latching properly and having to be locked in order for it to stay shut and curtains not quite fully covering the windows, but nothing to stop us enjoying our stay. Hotel parking is very limited and although there is on-street parking, most of the other properties on the street are hotels or guest houses with no car parks, so you may have to park some distance away. If you managed to get a hotel spot, I would suggest leaving your car there for the duration of your stay.

When we arrived there the room hadn't been cleaned. Just a simple mistake, the key for that room had been put with the keys for the rooms that had been cleaned. This wasn't an issue at all, the lady was very apologetic and moved my dad to a different room straight away, she actually upgraded him to a room with a king size bed. When our family room was ready about a 5min wait, we went to our room. It's was very clean and smelt very fresh, u could actually smell the bleach. We only had one pillow each (I like more) when I asked if there was any chance we could have a couple more the lady brought us another 2 pillows. The internet connection was rubbish, but actually this is the only fault I have with this hotel. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. Parking was only £5 which I can't fault at all. The outside could do with a lick of paint and I suppose the inside could do with one too. But as long as it's clean (which it was) I'm happy. The breakfast was £8 each extra, but it was a buffet style breakfast (all u can eat) there was plenty of food to go round. The staff were constantly adding more bacon, sausage, eggs, beans and hash browns. Don't be put off by the outside and people's reviews, this place is ok. Would I stop again???? Yes I would

Avoid! Although the pictures look nice, it really isn’t. Very cold welcome from staff at arrival, constantly being told what not to do. We are a family of 4, not a group of adults on an adults only weekend. Hotel advertises free car parking but it isn’t, we were told that as we didn’t want parking if we pulled our car up outside to load on leaving we would be fined! Bed was hard. Quilt was stained! Breakfast was disappointing, the lady kept telling everyone only take 1 piece of Bacon! One customer was asking for some milk but the staff member raised her voice at her! Very poor customer services

We have stayed here a few times now, this is a lovely family run hotel with rooms that fit bigger families. Breakfast is awesome with plenty of choice. Beach and tram stop are 150 or so metres away with the hotel being roughly half way between the pleasure beach and tower. Highly recommended

Nice place to stay, room is ok, clean and comfortable. Only problem we had was when we tried to use the shower, the head didn’t stay on, so had to shower whilst holding it which isn’t ideal. Was going to mention it on checkout but nobody was in reception so just left key on desk.

So my mum booked here for 7 days with my 2 children and my disabled stepdad. After 1 night in her room the shower stopped working, which meant they had to switch rooms. The only disabled accessible room available only had 1 double bed and 1 single bed (there were 4 of them). This meant my mum (who is 63 years of age) had to sleep at the bottom of a double bed, whilst my youngest and stepdad slept at the top (my eldest who's a teen had the single) - now I understand due to the need for a disability room, options were limited. However, i am totally disgusted that not even a courtesy partial refund was offered for the inconvenience she had to endure for 6 nights (pretty much her whole holiday) or even anything offered for that matter. Infact I do believe a mattress for the floor may have been offered. But considering she paid £900 for this hotel, I don't think being expected to sleep on the floor is acceptable. And yes I did see the room with my own eyes as I came down one of the days and witnessed the sleeping conditions

We booked 2 rooms, both clean although we did find a false nail under the bedside cupboard, heating not working in one room but was sorted, would have been nice to have a drink in the bar but it is only open 5-7pm then closes if no one comes in, and the weirdest breakfast set up, 9-9.30 then nothing available, most odd food was nice, but no mushrooms/tomatoes on a breakfast is a bit of a let down. No pictures on the walls, I like minimal but it felt cold and in need of some soft touches, everything felt very basic, and more of a welcoming hug.
