Everything was great. Service was excellent and there was English speaking staff for those who need it. There’s also welcome drinks between 1800-2100 and people get to choose their pillow and other amenities. However, being Beppu, I would have thought the onsen area is a bit bigger but that’s standard size for normal super series hotel. Everything was very clean. Overall great experience

Clean room and nice staff. Near the seaside park. Good for jocking and runing. Wonderful breakfast. Convenience Car parking.

Despite the recent renovation work, the hotel is relatively old. There’re two onsens in the hotel (one indoor and one outdoor) at two different levels, and you can also access to the onsens facilities at the nearby hotel (清海莊) if you wish two.

Beautiful hotel with it's very own onsen in the room. Only drawback is the blinds that can't cover the 5am sunrise

Staff was friendly and helpful even though some couldn't converse in fluent English. Room was clean and we had a beautiful view of the sea. We even caught the sun rise! Onsen both indoors and outdoors were clean. I enjoyed the outdoors onsen more because of the lovely Seaview from the rooftop. Breakfast was nice. Only complaint was that the futon was too thin, I could feel the floor. Otherwise it was a lovely stay

The basin is so tiny, about 30cm maybe. Also the tap location is so near the basin edge, it is hard to wash face or brushing teeth.

The hotel is very good in particular the meal provided was delicious!

I had booked a ‘’Run of House Non smoking With window’’room via Trip.com at HKD＄2295 for two nights based on the "Run of House" photos displayed in the hotel website. The photos showed an open air hot spring tub inside a big beautiful room. However I found the room was small and didn't have open air hot spring facility when checked in. Dirty marks on the door near the handle as well. Have argued with the hotel counter staff for almost one hour and he repeatedly said the room photos in the hotel website are only the model photos. They won't offer the same type of room actually. He can exchange a bigger room but the room is a smoking room which I can't accept. I paid for what they showed in the wedsite about the room and I don't accept what they explained model photos only because the room offered was not I expected. I express my dissatisfaction to the way of such cheating.

Location was great and hot spring was good. Food was not good as I expected.

The air-conditioner is too loud.

Quite a old hotel, reasonable price and environment, the breakfast here is quite nice, but the staffs in the reception counter cannot speak English and only give me some information catalogues in Korea. The location is good and convenient to go to the Youme mall which is the best shopping centre there.

The room is not very big, especially for 4 people, it is a bit difficult to turn around at night, and there are not enough charging plugs. The bathroom is very small and the bath water is cold, so it is recommended to take a bath, but the bathing facilities are a bit simple. Although the top floor can face the Pacific Ocean, the bathing is open-air and a bit unbearable in cold weather. The dinner for one night and two meals is quite rich and is the most recommended

An old-fashioned Japanese hotel with only a single hot spring and no spa area, but the overall service and accommodation feel are still very good. It is recommended to book a stay and two meals. It feels very good
