The last time I stayed there during New Year's, I received a coupon for a suite, so I used it. Tsubaki Suite is a wooden Heike villa located in a garden, but the garden is on the entrance side, so I couldn't enjoy the view. There are two rooms with spacious rooms and verandas that can be used, but there were places where the floor looked like it was going to fall out, probably because it had been a long time since then. It was convenient because there was a private open-air bath right in front of us. We had our meals at the dining hall. Unlike the extravagant New Year's dishes, the portions were ordinary and just the right amount for the elderly and women. Toyosenso is within walking distance of Beppu's station and shopping district, so I enjoyed strolling around the townscape.

Everything is normal. Prices vary too much between travel agencies! This is a hotel and recreational facility run by the public school mutual aid association. There are various limits to whether public money is being injected. When the sightseeing bus arrived, there was only one 9-seater elevator, so we had to wait 5 times with luggage. When I checked out, I had to wait for the elevator and the front desk.I can't deny that it has deteriorated over time, but the large public bath and private bath are normal. The food was delicious and palatable. I felt it was normal overall. I don't think I will visit again. Post a photo that interests you.

The alkaline Beppu hot springs warm your skin gently. Dinner includes lots of side dishes and you can get unlimited refills of the cooked rice. I'm full. You can feel a sense of superiority at this large luxury inn. The tatami in the room smelled like new. The location is about 9 minutes from the station and surrounded by greenery. It's about 20 minutes by bus to Umi Jigoku, so it's great. The pudding at Umi Jigoku is 300 yen and very delicious. Although it was the middle of the rainy season in June, it was comfortable with no rain or heat. I want to come again.

Although it is a little far from the station, parking is free and the view from the hotel is good. The hot springs are free-flowing, and there is a large public bath, a private open-air bath, a family bath, and a sauna, so you can fully enjoy the hot springs. Bath amenities were also well stocked. The room was a six-tatami Japanese style room, so it seemed quite small, but it was bright and clean. We didn't include meals and stayed without meals, but in the evening we had all-you-can-drink shochu in the lobby, which was a unique service.

There are various baths, such as a large free-flowing bath, a private open-air bath, and a family bath, and you can choose from a variety of sizes and designs of yukata. The refrigerator in the room has temperature control and keeps things cold. The room was bright and clean. However, the 6-tatami Japanese-style room felt small. You have to lay out your futon yourself, which is a bit of a hassle, but you don't have to worry about it, so I think it's fine. Meals are not included, so I don't know about the food.
