I’m so glad that this hotel had a renewal earlier this year. It looks very new and clean now. It also has a fantastic location — only a 3-minute walk from Beppu Station and it is surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants. The huge Beppu Don Quijote is only 10 minutes away by foot. Luggage can also be stored at the cloak room for free before check-in. The onsen and sauna was very clean too! I had a really comfortable stay at this hotel.

I booked Amane Resort Gahama via orbitz in the very last minutes (the day of check-in) since there were no Airbnbs or other hotels available in the area for that day. My stay here with my family ended up being SO perfect & fantabulous:) As soon as I walked in the room, my inner voice says, “OMG I accidentally treated myself. This is like heaven!!” :) 1. Our room came with 2 onsen (hot spring) bath tubs. One is built in open air in the garden (roten buro), and the other is built inside (see the attached pictures). The two bath tabs are separated by the glass sliding doors. I truly enjoyed and appreciated the experience. I hopped in the bath as many times as I could to make my money worth!! They also have an open air bath (roten buro) with the beautiful view accessible to all guests. 2. Breakfast included was OMG SO deeelicious. It’s buffet style. They have traditional Japanese, Chinese, Western styled food. All guests were required to wear vinyl gloves whenever they would go get food. They have got this glove dispenser that would pump the air inside of the gloves so all we needed to do was to let our hands slide inside of gloves ( so we would not accidentally touch the next guest’s gloves underneath). I thought this was very generous and appreciated that they were trying hard to minimize contacts for covid prevention. 3. We also ate at the restaurant in the hotel. The staff, wait persons were all so nice. The food was excellent! Non alcoholic plum wine was delicious:) 4. All staffs in the hotel were super nice. We had a great stay thanks to them:)

Some stains in the toilet. Hotel is not very near the station. The staff at the hotel is excellent. Overall, I will still recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed this unique hotel that has a mix of art, onsen, great views and decent food. The room (419) was not luxurious but was well designed, the balcony overlooked the extraordinary landscape that is Beppu, the greatest feature was the semi open-air onsen bath facilitated by the floor to ceiling windows, connected to the generous deck space. It was fun to walk around the gallery space and admire the interesting architecture, color palettes, and exhibits championing Beppu culture, landscape, flora, fauna etc. Sitting in the Peak restaurant for dinner, I was amused that one of the waitstaff was a robot that ferried food and empty dishes back and forth. Dinner was laid-back, had a window side seat that allowed me to enjoy the city glitter below. My stay here was at a fraction of another Beppu hotel on this trip, in many ways I enjoyed this place more and would not hesitate to come back.

There was little information on the website about the superior Japanese-style room, and it was the only room in the hotel, so I wondered what it would be like, but it was very nice. The moment I entered, the entrance was very spacious. Although the sliding doors looked a little old, the tatami mats, building materials, toilet, etc. were new, and the whole room was clean. There were two 8-tatami rooms, which was too spacious for two people. The view from the room was great, and you could go out to the balcony. And the bath was the best part. The room had a cypress bathtub that could fit about four people, and it was designed with a hot spring source. There was also an openable window, which was great. I wish they would promote this more. I would like to stay in this room again. The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were very satisfying. Also, when I made the reservation, the open-air bath on the roof required swimsuits, but it was apparently renovated in February and has been changed to a separate open-air bath for men and women, so swimsuits were not required. This open-air bath was also great, and a new washing area had been built.

There is a broken house next to the parking lot (No. 2), which is very scary at night. The cooking area outside is very slow. It is recommended not to use it. Areas that need improvement: There is no hot water for bathing in the room, there is no hot water for bathing in the bathhouse, and the men's bathhouse was forgotten for us.

Some people live normally like an apartment hotel! The parking lot is numbered and 3.4.5 can be parked! You need to enter the number to enter the entrance! The bath had shampoo, conditioner, body soap, bath towel and towel. no towels to wash your body. and the rubber packing on the door I couldn't clean it and there was garbage in the corner. The corner of the bath is a little pink. The washing surface has a toothbrush set and hand soap. Washing machine, washing machine, dryer もあり Convenient! but i stopped by the dryer's filter clog. Looking at the filter, it's a bitch! It's layered, so take it and dry it. The toilet has a big dust in the gap of the lid. The toilet bowl was beautiful. I used it with my family, I relaxed in the room, I just went to bed Thank you for staying at this amount.

I will say first, but I think the number of stars will be divided compared with the hotel in Fukuoka and the hotel in Yufuin. I doubt the name of the hotel itself. I was impressed by the night view from the room because I made a star ４, I stayed many times in the famous place of Beppu Onsen (especially iron ring), but it was not a place where the night view was beautiful from the room. There is no person who says that the sophistication of the employee's naiveness and the sophistication of the business soul are hotel man, so it is relaxed at any time. I was impressed that the meal was delicious and healthy, and when the people of Oita made use of local ingredients to cook, they were clearly transmitted and impressed. Breakfast buffet may be especially good. The hotel's western food buffet is not suitable for those who like it at all. Easy, above.
