The room area is relatively large among hotels of the same price, the decoration is relatively new, the room has its own private hot spring, and the coffee shop downstairs (after consumption) has an open-air foot bath, which is a plus. There is nothing good to eat near the hotel, but it only takes about ten minutes to walk to JR Beppu Station to find food, so it is completely acceptable. The front desk gets off work early at night, which is also worth noting. There is one point that minuses us. After we finished drinking coffee downstairs and returned to the room, the service staff rushed to the elevator to stop us and asked if we were guests. It was a bit rash. There are two reasons: there were very few guests at the time, less than ten people in total in half an hour, so they would not forget that we had just come down from the room; the hotel has a high proportion of white tourists, so there is no occasional anxiety when encountering foreigners when they are only used to receiving local tourists. It is recommended to improve the service level. After staying for two days and meeting so many people taking the elevator, only our group was stopped, and I was also uneasy. Overall, I would still recommend it.
