The hotel has everything you need as a solo traveller. The staff are young, full of energy and can speak English. They provide free laundry service and daily supper between 10PM - 11PM. I stayed for 6 nights and my room is cleaned daily without fail. Even though the room is small, the bed is soft, amenities are new and allowed me to have good night sleep everyday. The hotel is situated near the metro and located to many local attractions. Even taxi prices are reasonable to get around the city if walking is too much for that day.
The hotel also uses robots to deliver food delivery (MeiTuan). Highly recommended for the convenience.
As it is winter now, travelers can consider switching off the heater in the room or open the window if you’re feeling the heat.
We are located in the middle of Dongsihuan Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, next to Dajiuting Bridge (southeast corner), with direct access to Universal Studios. Convenient transportation. China World Trade Center CBD business district, Beijing East Railway Station, Beijing Institute of Technology, Shuangjing Fuli City, Panjiayuan Antique City, Happy Valley Amusement Park scenic spots are all within easy reach, and can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. Jingli Hotel belongs to Jingli's high-end boutique business brand, the overall design style is modern and fashionable.

I got upgraded to the one above the tatami room because I had 2 big luggages and upon check in the receptionist felt like I would not be able to open up my luggage’s if I stayed the tatami room. The only downside is the room is really goddamn tiny I could open 1 luggage and the other luggage half open? But other than it being kinda small and cozy, the service of the staff made up for it. Always willing to help and greet the guests. On a side note their washing laundry area has only 2 washing/dryer machine although they have a butler service who will help you dry and hang your clothes which is really helpful in this case. Because also how tightly fit the rooms are, you probably will be able to hear things going along the corridor, so light sleepers beware. But otherwise service is honestly on par with 5 star hotels. I probably will stay here if my luggage is tiny af and I need a place to crash.
The 5-star Hotel New Otani Chang Fu Gong (Changfu Gong Fandian) is located at the intersection of Chang'an Street and Erhuan Road, within easy reach of shopping mecca Beijing Scitech Plaza and the central Beijing Railway Station. Nice to find a hotel that offers family room for 4 in a single room - I guess in China it’s still rare for there to be more than 1 child in a family!
The room was a good size with a very comfortable super king bed that fits 3 persons and an additional single bed.
Bathroom was big with bath and separate rain shower.
Bar was closed (for good??). Annoying as we had family who came to visit and wanted to have a drink together that isn’t just wine. At least offer some beer in your restaurant if the bar is closed.
Breakfast was vast, lots of choice. But for the price I would expect better包子 and 油条. Felt like they came from a packet, not freshly made. I can get so much better on a street cart for less than £1, so very disappointing that a five star hotel cannot make decent Chinese staples. I would say the 豆腐脑, and 葱花饼 was lovely, and I stuck with this for the duration of the stay.

The location is absolutely perfect with the nearest Metro JinYuHuTong to get you anywhere in the heart of Beijing. There is also a convenient store 7-11 just 8 mins walk. It is open 24hrs. Sadly, I only get to know it on my way back to the airport at 4am. Sad to say that even the front desk receptionist doesn't even know about it. Abundance of eateries like MacD, KFC, shops, malls, etc. Most of the shops will be closed by 10pm. Take note.
The top listed four season restaurant which is famous for its Peking duck. It is just a 5 mins walk. Gosh, I have been eating Peking duck for the whole week of my stay in this restaurant and is not sick of it.
There are also 3 washing machines and 3 dryer machines located at B1 of the hotel where the gym and children playroom is.
The pretty front desk receptionist even helped me book a Chinese Uber back to the airport at 4am. I am very grateful for it. At least i don't missed my flight back home. Very hard to get cab in Beijing as most of the locals here travelled by metro.
I am not too concerned about my accommodation as I am only spending about 6-7 hours in my hotel each night. Most of my time, i will be out touring, shopping and dining.
Suggestions for improvements.
1) Install a rope or a rod in the toilet where I could at least dry my wet clothings.
2) Daily housekeeping doesn't even include vacuuming the floor. It is very dusty.
3) The toilet was choke up and could not even flush.
4) The air conditioning is not working at all. No ventilation. Only hot air came out from it. Guess it is energy saving time in winter. I have open my front door wide for half an hour to allow cool air to come in before going bed each night.
5) The shower curtain is moldy and dirty. I am wondering what is the frequency of cleaning those shower curtain ?
Overall I am quite satisfied with my stay in this hotel. Definitely not the room but rather the location and that pretty receptionist that have helped me to book the Chinese Uber back home. I tried to tip her but sadly she refused my tips. Very honest and reliable employee there. Thanks.

I’ve booked an apartment with double bed room. It is huge and the size is like a 2 bedroom apartment. We’ve also got a rollaway bed inside the bedroom. The bathroom is equivalent to a bedroom size too! In addition, the staff are very responsive and efficient. Grand Hyatt has become my next to go hotel in the future.

Location is great, about 5mins walk to the center of Wangfujing and about 3mins walk to the metro station. The hotel is located right by the road, super easy to noticed. The famous roast duck restaurant is right next to the hotel, “Siji minfu roast duck”, you can even asked the staff to help you out to get the que number, cuz its been always a long line (at least approx. 2 hrs wait) Staffs are friendly, rooms are clean :) Overall would highly recommended.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions and recommendations. My room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet, which offered a mix of local and international dishes.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is located conveniently next to the underground station with 1 change to the capital international airport. There are a few shopping malls located 5-10 minutes with local restaurants open up till late hours good for mid night snacking.
The staffs were super friendly. There is free coffee machine locales at the reception. Upon departure they gave us a gift pack with snacks.
Check in and check out was really smooth.

Bathroom is huge but the bathtub has a big stain so I wonder which guests would use. If you want to stay in this hotel, it’s because it’s near the museum and forbidden palace. Staff is not exactly friendly and approachable. I had the worst experience dealing with check in with one of the hotel staff. Not sure if Beijing hotel staff is unfriendly but I don’t experience such poor attitude from other cities like Shanghai and Suzhou. Terrible experience.

GGuest UserThe environment is very good, there are many shops around, it is very convenient to go anywhere, the hotel is fully equipped, the service is good, and the environment is hygienic. The decoration is very elegant, the sound insulation effect is very good, it is a quality accommodation choice
AAnonymous UserRoom, amenities, and services are great. We got the standard queen size room however it’s comes with a window but facing to next building, hence there’s no sunlight coming in, picture are a bit misleading but overall is great. Location is not that convenient, everything is like 20mins ride away, but I must say the room and the services is great. Have a nice stay with them.
PPan LexinI had a wonderful stay at Pan Pacific Beijing. The hotel is beautifully designed, blending modern elegance with traditional touches. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.
The staff (great thanks to Tiffany, Cindy, Wendy, Judy, Lynn, Etta) were exceptional—always friendly and ready to help, making my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend Pan Pacific Beijing for a luxurious stay in the city.
OOliver BenThe room was a little bit small, but it was clean and the service was decent. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the nearest subway station making it fairly easy to get around. My room was on the ground floor next to the kitchen so it was noisy early in the morning when they were preparing breakfast, apart from that it was a good stay.
PphottigimathThe service was really good. We enjoyed the stay. The staff was very friendly. It is very near to the railway station, so it was really convenient. I should really appreciate the cleanliness, the rooms and the bathrooms were extremely clean. It was an amazing stay. All the staff did a really great job. Extremely happy.
PS: the receptionist was very handsome. So extra happy😁
TTinaMI was only here for 3 nights, but had an extremely comfortable stay. The rooms are large and very well equipped - there is a fridge, microwave, kettle and a really good washer/dryer, which was such a blessing for me after a month of traveling. This is essentially a serviced apartment, but they also have a lovely lounge/kitchen in the basement, with a coffee machine that I may have used a little too much 🤣 It was good coffee and I was really glad for it at the start of a busy day. Their housekeeping staff is lovely as well, as is their security/doorman with the kindest smile. The reception staff went above and beyond to help me with my many queries. I had some delayed deliveries arrive at the hotel after I checked out, unfortunately, and although I'm sure my many requests may have been rather irritating as my friend in Beijing attempted to reroute/collect the late deliveries from the hotel, never once did the hotel staff convey a hint of frustration to me. They were so kind and gracious throughout, and I am genuinely grateful for that.
The hotel's location is an absolute chef's kiss 🤌 There are 2 major subway stations at equal distance from the hotel, and you can pick the station based on which line you need. The hotel is located by the hutongs west of Dongsi, right at the end of the LongfuSi complex, which is essentially a long line of fantastic pubs, cafes, restaurants, and also functions as a community/park of sorts, so you will see lots of families and people walking their dogs in the evenings - I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but it's a very uniquely ”Beijing” experience, not one you would experience out on the busy main roads. One of my favourite things was just walking back from the subway station and getting to immerse myself in this environment before arriving at Base. Also, I read some reviews saying it is inaccessible for taxis - this is not true, as there is a wide enough road for cars; your DiDi driver just won't be able to wait for you as there is no parking on the main street, so you'll need to be waiting for them outside. It was very convenient for my driver to pick me up when I checked out.
Thank you to the courteous reception staff for putting up with all my queries and shenanigans! I'm genuinely grateful and hope to be back again very soon (hopefully next time with fewer questions, but no promises!)
LLLL...Go straight out of the hotel lobby door, turn right to go to the nearest metro station/exit which is Zhushikou. Turn left to eat and shop at the famous Qianmen street and also other hutongs/alley. Totally worth it. Plus, there’s a Luckin coffee and Lawson opposite the hotel. Really convenient!
They kept the room really clean. There are some complaints about the drainage smell which there really is in the toilet but you will get used to it and eventually it will disappear as you take shower.
Overall it was a very good experience and nice place. The staffs were friendly and helpful.
Remember to clean the filter of the dryer if you wish to use it. As it’s quite dusty but I think people rarely use it anyways so I am fine with it. I even helped them clean and wash the dust away.
Anyways, I will definitely book again if I come back to Beijing. 💯

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this hotel with my family and it was an absolute delight! This place is a haven for families seeking comfort and convenience. The room was incredibly spacious, allowing us to move around comfortably. My son was over the moon with the bathtub – it was a definite highlight of his stay!
One standout feature was the presence of two bathrooms, which proved to be a game-changer in terms of convenience. No more morning rush hour! I must give a special shout-out to the desk guy, Leo, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and enjoyable. His excellent service truly made a difference.
The location is also a major plus – surrounded by numerous restaurants, we were spoiled for choice when it came to dining options. It's a huge relief not having to venture far for a delicious meal.
All in all, this hotel exceeded our expectations and provided us with a fantastic family experience. We'll definitely be returning on our next visit!
GGuest UserIt was my second stay here.. Overall was excellent, bed was comfy, staff were so polite and helpful. I was checking in quite late and I wasn’t feeling well, the staff even help to order some medicine from online store.. Especially STAFF NO.11.. I left my jacket on the taxi, and I just realised it after my checked out, she is still helping me to contact with the taxi driver and follow up till today. Grateful and blessed to stay here. Last but not least, the coffee shop at the main entrance was good, nice croissant and coffee! Highly recommended for any future guests :)
