Baltimore Hotels with Bars

I booked an overnight reservation for my husband's birthday celebration. The entire experience was unique and simply outstanding in every way! We were made to feel VERY SPECIAL by each and every staff member with whom we engaged. We were CONTINUALLY welcomed throughout the stay from the person who opened the car door and greeted us by name to the very knowledgeable concierges, the room service staff, the culinary staff, the bellman, the driver, Lottie Dottie and EVERYBODY! The hotel was very clean and beautifully adorned with pictures, books, furniture, plants and artifacts that told the story of the hotel. This includes the very accommodating bedroom with a comfortable canopy bed and a pristine, spacious and updated bathroom. One could ALWAYS count on soul-stirring music playing in the background of every public space. Each tune moved us to murmur the lyrics regardless of where we were and what we were doing. Ever had a snack attack? No worries! The room was well stocked with a variety of goodies and beverages to soothe those evening urges. And, finally, let me praise the food selections offered to us at teatime and breakfast. Homemade jam, almond butter, muffins, oat flapjacks, chicken sausage, eggs, and more! This was quite an awesome getaway! And, yes, we would do it all over again!

Hotel location is very good. Just in the port area. The scenery in the next round is very good. The hotel's daily store is also delicious. The main one is very safe. Compared with other four seasons, the obvious feeling is that the sanitary preparations are slightly inferior. There is actually a dead ant under the pillow. There are mosquitoes in the room, 16th floor, I really don't know where to come... Oh, the breakfast environment is also very good, overall good, recommended!

True to the reputation of the New York-based design firm, Ash, the Ulysses is nothing short of an architectural marvel. The first thing that catches your eye? The hotel's impeccable aesthetic. It's a masterful blend of old-world charm and modern design, encapsulating the very essence of Baltimore's diverse character. While the rooms might have been a tad on the cozier side, they more than made up for it with their plush comfort and attention to detail. The Ulysses truly exemplifies the notion that beauty lies in the details, and the meticulousness with which they've curated every aspect of the guest experience speaks volumes. The 19th-century charm of the Mount Vernon neighborhood is beautifully echoed within the Ulysses. The delicate stained-glass skylight, the ornate crown molding, and the preserved brass postal box serve as a testament to the building's rich history. But it's not all vintage here. The interiors seamlessly transition from the ornate influences of the Art Nouveau era to a more streamlined approach, evident in the hickory wood furniture adorned with Ash’s custom textiles. And oh, those hand-beaded lampshades and embroidered quilts! They added the perfect splash of color and quirk. A special shout-out to the carved flamingos that support the bedside tables, a delightful nod to Baltimore's own John Waters and his ”Pink Flamingos.” It's this mix of opulence and eccentricity that makes the Ulysses stand out. Booking through Trip.com was a new experience for us. A bit unconventional, sure, but it came through in the clutch. The $35 ”destination fee” threw us for a loop initially, but the $20 credit we received towards our bill at the hotel restaurant (Ash Bar) or the bar (Blooms) made it all worth it. Speaking of Blooms, what an experience! The mirrored ceiling, the crimson banquettes, and the purple stools set the stage for a night to remember. In a nutshell? The Hotel Ulysses is a triumph, an ode to Baltimore's multifaceted spirit. Whether you're here for the history, the design, or the sheer experience, the Ulysses promises and delivers. Here, I need to tip for daily cleaning and hygiene. The next day I also gave the result that I put a lot of towels and didn’t make it 😢. Breakfast is also very simple (there are three varieties). If you can choose to book without breakfast, it is more cost-effective. Coffee is 5 dollars a cup. There is no smell. There is no water in the room (the front desk told me that there is an empty bottle to go to the floor to get water (the result is that the equipment is broken 😅), parking is not free for 50 dollars. This price is the price of a standard five-star hotel in China, this time I really stepped on the pit.

The room was very nice. When I checked in I asked about parking. They said I could go around the corner and park, it is connected to the hotel, and it would cost $29 for the night. When I left the hotel and tried to get out of the parking lot, the cost is $69! I drove around to ask about this problem, the girl at the front desk had no idea. She took my email address and said the manager would contact me when he arrived. It has been 24 hours and I have not heard from the manager. Obviously I’m not very important to this hotel so I will never stay there again. They lied to me when I checked in and then never responded to my complaint. I would have booked a different hotel if I knew I was going to be charged $69 parking for one night! Stay somewhere else.

The Hotel Indigo in Baltimore is one that provides comfort, access to quality restaurants that represent diverse cuisines, and customer service with personality and a smile. The food menu is sufficient and the bartenders are well versed in creating whatever cocktails you may enjoy. The rooms are quiet, the water pressure is strong, and the cost is competitive. I stayed 2 nights and when I checked out late, the hotel had no issue with it. I was able to walk from the Penn Station to the hotel with no difficulties.

The hotel is good, but there is no time to go shopping, in this city known as the most dangerous, no place to move.

The environment is elegant and tidy, and the decoration is warm and generous. The beds are soft and comfortable, and the air conditioning is very quiet. The breakfast is varied and tastes good. The front desk service is warm, the procedures are fast, and it feels very professional. There are plenty of parking spaces and easy to get in and out. The overall feeling is excellent value for money and it is a pleasant stay experience.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool was unfortunately closed for the duration of our trip, which was a disappointment. In a great location, close to everything!

Days Inn Inner Harbour Baltimore is just across the road (other side of W. Pratt Street) from the Baltimore Convention Center. Standard services are provided, including a light breakfast. A vending machine is provided in the lobby if you arrive late at night and hungry. The staff at front desk is professional, including help to secure a taxi by phone in the early hours to the BWI airport (many thanks, Chris!). Bedding sheets could be more carefully checked.
