GGuest UserThe room was definitely not 33 square meters. The cups had limescale, and the bathroom amenities weren't replenished promptly. For a five-star hotel, using such an old kettle is unacceptable. The pillows were so uncomfortable; I couldn't sleep a wink for both nights I stayed. The mattress must be really old, as it was already a bit saggy.

BBun KiatWe recently stayed at this hotel with our family to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is new, clean, and very well maintained. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, providing a pleasant stay for our family.
The location is excellent, with convenient access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it easy to get around. The overall environment was welcoming and relaxing, which made our anniversary celebration even more memorable.
Thank you to the hotel team for the great hospitality. We had an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to families, couples, and anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

BBoney TravelerWe have a very relaxing weekend at the Cove 55 which is located about 30-minute drive away from Kuching city. The room is spaciuos & the views from the hotel is spectacular. We also enjoyed the food served at the hotel served by very friendly staff. Overall, it’s been a very pleasant experience for all of us!

1. The water temperature is not stable. You'll get warm/hot water for a solid 5 min then it’ll be cold.
2. My room had a window in the toilet where the sun shines through so bright early in the morning, should add in a blind or something there to block them.
Breakfast was okay but for the prices of the rooms, could be improve a lot more.
Other than that my experience was great. Extended my stay up till 3pm and that cost MYR200 just to get a bit more rest. Would recommend for the comfy bed but get breakfast elsewhere for sure.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pullman Kuching Hotel, and it was truly a memorable experience. I chose to celebrate my birthday there, and the team went above and beyond to make it special.
A heartfelt thank you to I-Rene Saw, the Guest Experience Manager, and her wonderful team for their thoughtful arrangements. They beautifully decorated the room, surprised me with a birthday cake, and put us to a newly renovated room. These small yet meaningful gestures made a big difference and created a warm, celebratory atmosphere.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay — the service was attentive, the room was comfortable and modern, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Pullman Kuching Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.
Thank you once again to I-Rene and the team for making my birthday so special!

GGuest UserThis is a classic older hotel. The biggest highlight is definitely the great views and relaxing atmosphere, especially the balcony area which is very comfortable and offers excellent scenery.
We stayed in a triple room. The room itself felt quite old, and the facilities clearly showed their age. As for cleanliness, it was a case of 'looks okay on the surface, but the details are lacking.' For instance, there were some less-than-clean marks on the sheets, and while the towels had clearly been washed, their dark color wasn't ideal. The bathroom's cleanliness was also just average; not overtly dirty, but not meticulously clean either.
Overall, the hotel's strong points are its views and location. However, there's room for improvement regarding the room's hardware and the detailed cleanliness. It's best suited for guests who prioritize scenic views and are less sensitive about the age of the accommodations.

GGuest UserI got a room on the 9th floor. So far, the room was beautiful, tidy, and smelled fresh from the previous check-in. However, the air conditioning wasn't very cool during midday. Maybe they could recheck the AC in room 913, as I had a similar issue with a different room during a previous stay. As for breakfast, it was excellent with a wide variety of menu options. Kudos to the UCSI team! One more thing: the windows really need cleaning. It's a shame that the aesthetic view of the river and mountains is obscured by the cloudy window panes. 🥰😌

I recently stayed at Riverbank Suites Unit 408 in Kuching, Sarawak, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The location is one of the major highlights — right in the heart of the city and just steps away from the Kuching Waterfront, local eateries, and popular attractions like Carpenter Street and the Main Bazaar. This made exploring the city on foot very easy and convenient.
The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a balcony offering scenic views of the Sarawak River. It is ideal for families, couples, or longer stays.
Cleanliness was good, and the basic amenities such as Wi-Fi and air-conditioning were provided. However, the air-conditioning in Room 2 was leaking, so we did not use it throughout our stay. As a result, the room felt slightly warm during sleep.
One of the highlights of the unit is the balcony view, especially in the evening, which creates a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the river and city lights. Facilities such as the swimming pool and parking were also appreciated.
Overall, Riverbank Suites Unit 408 is a well-located and comfortable accommodation with great views. With minor maintenance improvements, it would be an even better place to stay in Kuching.
