The Yingju Inn provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Yingju Inn is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Jianchuan. In terms of transportation, Dali Fengyi Airport is approximately 88km away. The nearest airport is Dali Fengyi Airport, approximately 88km away. With Dali Jianchuan Shaxi Qinglan Courtyard, Yujin Bridge and Dongzhai Gate all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. For guests traveling alone, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"The owner is very kind and speaks good English. She was very helpful in giving advice for where to visit in Shaxi. The location is great, right in the best part of old town. I stayed in the small one bed room. It's perfect for a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable and warm. The toilet/shower is downstairs. Its a little small, but is acceptable. The walls are very thin so if you are there when it's busy (spring festival for me) it can be loud. But if it were a quieter time of year I think it would have been just fine. Overall the value was really good for me and I would highly recommend this inn!"

I stayed here for four or five days straight, and it was truly wonderful! The shower had a huge overhead rainfall showerhead with great water pressure, and the room's soundproofing was excellent. Every morning, the landlady would prepare a lovely breakfast. The entire building probably only has six or seven rooms. There were too many people taking photos in the scenic area, so I ended up taking all my pictures downstairs at the guesthouse – they turned out great! The owner can offer pick-up and drop-off to Shaxi Ancient Town (it's very close), or you can use the guesthouse's electric scooter for free. The hotel's location is convenient for getting anywhere, and there's also free parking for cars, which was a lifesaver since we drove all the way from Dali Airport!

Shaxi is a place where you can enjoy pastoral scenery, pristine nature, and relax. Here, you can not only experience the history of the Ancient Tea Horse Road but also see the blue sky and white clouds of the countryside, with the wind rustling through the trees. Shaping Village, Beilong Village, and Hualong Village surround Shaxi Ancient Town. Shaping Village is located north of the ancient town, a 7-8 minute drive away. Each village has its own unique characteristics, and there are electric shuttle buses between them for 20 yuan per vehicle. If you want to avoid the hassle of price gouging and crowds in the ancient town, I recommend staying in one of these three villages. It's convenient for getting around and allows you to deeply experience the quiet rural life. I stumbled upon an introduction to Cunshang Village Homestay and was immediately drawn to this hidden gem in the countryside. The owners, Dahua and his wife, are both hospitable and attentive, and the quality of the homestay is evident in every detail: the decor not only features the characteristics of Bai ethnic minority houses but also reflects a natural, unspoiled feel. Different colored soil is used to decorate the walls, the succulents in the courtyard are full of life, and the air is filled with the fragrance of magnolia and osmanthus blossoms. The room's decor was eco-friendly and convenient, with the natural wood walls and floors complementing the surrounding environment perfectly. The Kohler bathroom fixtures were spotless, and the floors were vacuumed and then manually wiped with cloths – the cleanliness rivaled that of a five-star hotel. Although the room didn't have a TV, isn't the point of traveling to such a place to fully immerse oneself in rural life? It's also worth noting that the guesthouse's shampoo and shower gel are biodegradable products with natural essential oils, and Dahua thoughtfully provided soap powder containing baking soda. Every morning, Mrs. Dahua makes handmade bread and Shaxi-style rice noodles for guests. We were also fortunate enough to sample Shaxi specialties like bean noodles and fried dough sticks. The courtyard also offers lunch and dinner, a fusion of Chinese and Western cuisine, with harmonious food presentation. Even without dining in a restaurant, you can experience the flavors and aromas of local cuisine and the sophistication of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Mrs. Dahua's cooking not only prioritizes health, using less oil and salt, but also perfectly brings out the natural flavors of the ingredients. Dahua himself has many years of outdoor experience. The only slight regret was that we didn't get to meet him this time because he was leading a hiking trip. However, he was incredibly thoughtful, carefully recommending transportation tips, a guide to Shibao Mountain, and recommendations for nearby restaurants. I must say, the trip to Shaxi was the most successful part of the entire trip. Especially the few days spent at the village guesthouse, I experienced the tranquility of Shaxi and witnessed Dahua's family's earnest attitude towards life.

Location: The guesthouse is located in Hualong Village, about 1.5 kilometers from Shaxi Ancient Town. It's neither too noisy nor too far from the hustle and bustle. Special praise goes to the guesthouse manager for their service; you can contact them to make reservations for trips to the ancient town. They offer a daily shuttle service, which is very convenient and saves you from taking taxis and waiting for public transport. Design: The courtyard retains the architectural features of the Bai ethnic group, with a timber structure. It's very comfortable to stay in; the heating keeps it warm, and the design is fantastic! There are a few cats in the courtyard, and a clear koi pond. Sitting there, sunbathing and petting the cats is very pleasant! Environment: My room had a direct view of the courtyard, and the sunlight shone directly into the room, creating beautiful natural light. Other rooms offer views of vast rice paddies. Next time, I'll book a room with a rural view; it must be beautiful in summer with rapeseed flowers and rice paddies! Cleanliness: The toiletries are L'Occitane, the hairdryer is Dyson, and the sound system is Marshall. It's even more comfortable than home! The cleanliness is excellent; everything is kept very spotless. Service: The service was superb! Even before I arrived, the butler contacted me to give me directions. There was welcome fruit, a pre-booking goodnight dessert, and information about breakfast and afternoon tea for the next day. It was so convenient for a lazy person like me! The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious! The yogurt was also great 😘 Afternoon Tea Set: Includes fruit, coffee, desserts, and bread. Dining in their café offers a fantastic view. This afternoon tea set, included in the room rate, is definitely the most worthwhile item; everyone should experience it! Facilities: Everything is new, Dyson and Marshall all contribute to a great experience.

This Shaxi hidden gem of a hotel really deserves more than just one night! The facilities are excellent, and the hygiene is top-notch – super clean. The ambiance is incredibly chic and cozy. The service is absolutely fantastic; the staff helped us with all our luggage, which saved us so much effort, especially since the walk from the hotel to the parking lot is quite a distance. Their service was truly outstanding!

The rooms are elegantly furnished and comfortable, and the bedding is of high quality, allowing you to sleep soundly. The courtyard of the B&B has a very good view. You can sit on the lazy sofa in the courtyard and quietly look at the blue sky and white clouds and relax, feeling peaceful and happy. The two beautiful owners of the B&B are very sincere and enthusiastic. They are the first choice for your next stay in Shaxi.

Beautiful property in an elegantly and sensitively restored old Bai house. Location is in a small village outside of Shaxi old town, and the hotel will gladly fetch us to and from the town centre in a 3 minute car or buggy ride. It's nice to have a glimpse of real villagers instead of being isolated in the touristy Shaxi old town. We stayed in the ground floor room facing the courtyard. With the doors opened, we could really enjoy the courtyard. A minor inconvenience of the ground floor room was that we could hear the footsteps and creaking floorboards of the room above. But we weren't too disturbed by it. The room was luxurious and well equipped, with classy lighting and electric bidet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again

Before our family of three visited Shaxi Ancient Town, we called Mr. Zhao, the owner of the guesthouse, for advice. He explained the location and surrounding area in detail, which convinced us to book immediately. On the day of our arrival, Mr. Zhao called in advance to inquire about our itinerary, reserve a parking space, and even waited at the door to help with our luggage. He also thoughtfully introduced the facilities and travel tips. The guesthouse is only a few minutes' walk from the ancient town, and parking is available right outside, which is incredibly convenient for traveling with a child. The courtyard is elegant and clean, and our child loved it as soon as we entered. The tatami area in the first-floor room was perfect for our child to play and relax while we chatted and drank tea without disturbing each other. In the morning, we could see the garden view from the window, and the breakfast prepared by the owner's wife was also very satisfying for our child. This thoughtfulness from booking to check-in made our trip full of warmth. If you're going to Shaxi, this guesthouse is definitely worth considering; it will surely give you a comfortable experience.

A treasure homestay in Shaxi Ancient Town, in a nearby village. The owner will pick you up to the ancient town. It has a Japanese dry landscape garden. The room supplies are very good, clean and tidy, and the bedding is particularly comfortable. You can see that the owner is taking care of the inn very carefully. The moss can be grown so well. There is also a viewing platform on the second floor where you can sit and drink afternoon tea and have breakfast. The scenery is very good. The breakfast is delicious meat sauce rice noodles cooked by the local auntie. The cake made by the boss's wife is also great. Recommended!

Great location! Convenient transportation I'm a girl who traveled to Shaxi for a week in early September. He Mu was my second accommodation, and I extended my stay until I left. Because I stayed inside the ancient town on my first day, it was inconvenient to move around with my suitcase. He Mu is conveniently located and offers shuttle service. Early September is the rice harvest season, avoiding the awkward period of rice fertilization in June, so the scenery outside the window was exceptionally pleasant. I heard that wheat is planted after the rice harvest in November. I must commend the hotel facilities! The most delightful thing was the incredibly comfortable bedding. The pure cotton four-piece set was soft and skin-friendly, and the goose down comforter was lightweight. As someone with sensitive sleep, I loved it! Perhaps because it's in the countryside, the nights are very quiet, with only the faint chirping of birds and insects. Even with two cups of coffee a day, I was able to sleep until I naturally woke up – thank goodness! Since I went during the off-season, the hotel upgraded me to the second floor for free, and I had to make sure to take my daily bath ritual, which I think contributed to my good night's sleep. The hotel toothbrushes were good, and disposable toilet seats and face towels were provided. What's even better is that the moisturizer is also great. I'm totally sold!

An absolute hidden paradise that offers a complete escape from the world. Nestled in Shaxi's Shilong Ancient Village, it's far removed from the hustle and bustle of the old town. Built into the mountainside, it's deeply rooted amidst the forests. Crafted using traditional local rammed earth construction techniques. Open the window to a vista of green mountains, forests, fields, and a charming village. The moment you step in, your heart instantly slows down. All the restlessness, anxiety, and hurriedness of city life melt away. The warm rammed earth walls, the rustic texture of natural wood. The gentle breeze sweeps through the forest, creating a soft and peaceful ambiance. It offers a rich, immersive experience of local culture. Make traditional Bai ethnic Jima (paper horses), experience Bai traditional Songlong needlework, and hike through Bai villages. While experiencing intangible cultural heritage, you also unlock new skills. This makes travel more than just sightseeing; it's about truly feeling the local culture and way of life. I will definitely come back here again!
