Quebec City Hotels with Bars

The room is a little small, but the view is good. It is a bit inconvenient to change two elevators to go up and down the stairs. The front desk service is very thoughtful and polite, and there is a special car at the door. The location of the hotel is very convenient and quiet at night.

It was very different then staying at usual hotels we stay in. The learning opportunities were very appreciated. Activities and workshops are well priced and organized. Want to give a shout out to our story teller Samuel that made our first activity a memorable one The lady doing the necklace workshop will surprise you with all her abilities. The showers were very ergonomic. The bed and beddings were very comfortable. The aspects I wished were part of the experience: Bigger pool as we went there as a family and the pool was rather small. Wooden floor are nice and stone floors in bathroom look nice as well but both are really cold to walk on. Although they offer bathrobes they unfortunately dont offer slippers. More hiking trails nearby as well, although the little trail they have around the hotel with panels giving information on different aspect of the Wendat traditions was a nice evening walk to do as a couple. Overall a very nice stay. Would recommend it without hesitation.

Great location, comfortable beds, and the common areas are cozy, quiet, and spacious. The kitchen has plenty of seating and tables, and a wide array of cooking utensils. There are backpackers from all over the world, which creates a fantastic atmosphere. Sitting there, whether eating or just browsing on my phone, was incredibly comfortable and relaxing – a feeling I haven't experienced in years. If you're traveling solo to Quebec, this is the best choice.

The first thing that greeted me when I opened the door wasn't a scent, but a reassuring sense of cleanliness. The air was free of any mixed odors, only the clean smell of sun-dried bedding – probably the most important sense of security for me when staying away from home. In the morning, there's no need for an alarm clock; the rosy glow on the horizon is the best wake-up call. Lying in bed, watching the sun slowly rise over the city skyline, with golden light gradually filling the room, made getting up early feel absolutely worth it. As night falls, the place takes on a different character. Outside the window, there are no noisy neon lights, but rather the understated glow of a thousand homes – distant high-rises twinkling like stars, and nearby streets bustling with traffic. It's a kind of understated, yet comforting, prosperity. It felt like standing outside the hustle and bustle, quietly appreciating the city's gentlest B-side. I'll definitely come back again, for this window view.

Ten mins drive from old town. Just right at highway exit. Good for travel with car. Very comfortable mattress. Nice view with golf court

My first stay at a compact, foldable hotel was decent; the bedding and toiletries were new, and the room was clean. I booked a 1.5m bed for one person, but because I brought a large suitcase, the room felt a bit cramped. The hotel is located in Quebec City's Old Town, within walking distance of almost anywhere. The surrounding area has a strong French traditional and cultural atmosphere, and it's also close to the Old Town train station. The front desk staff speaks English/French, so communication was smooth. The front desk provides a coffee machine and basic necessities like fruit, bread, milk, and eggs (for guests to prepare themselves).

I liked the hotel location and facilities. The indoor pool was amazing and the live stage was so good. I would definitely visit here again and book the terrace view next time. However, there are few things that I was very dissapointed. The room was not managed well. There are white things are around the floors (it looks like painting or wall paper. I asked to change the room, but the new room has the same problem). Hair dryer was phsically broken and not working. Heater is not working and when I turn on, it is very noisy. There was a party when we stayed and it was very noisy until almost 1 pm. We called at 12:30 and the reception said they send a security. However, it was still noisy after 30 mins).

The basic economy rooms are small, there is no coffee maker, no kettle and not a lot of space to move around in, the suites look much larger. The location is ok but not that close to the historic centre, it would be a long walk. The roads around the hotel were closed for construction which made finding the.car park a bit tricky. The breakfast was reasonable but some hot options would be nice. The staff were helpful and polite. The swimming pool was not particularly nice - its essentially under the reception floor on what feels like it should be a parking garage, there is no natural light or windows at all, nowhere to shower so everyone goes in dirty, the pool is small and didnt look very clean and with just a few people it feels crowded.For the price the stay was passable but we have stayed in better places for a similar price.

Campus residence turned hostel for the summer. Room is small but clean and mostly comfortable although there is no air con. There is only one sink in the shared bathroom on each wing of each floor but there are individual sinks in each room. Location is close to public transport (bus) but there is a small walking distance from the bus stop. 10 minutes walk away from Metro (Canadian chain grocery store) and shopping mall with customer service that speaks English (most people in the area speak limited English). Overall an enjoyable stay comparable to the price.
