The Tiing Tejakula Villas Reviews

Tiing is a nice hotel located on the quiet Balinese north shore. It’s a quiet private small resort with super spacious apartments, 2 story buildings with 1 up and 1 down. Downstairs all have mini pools. The hotel has a fairly large main pool. Staff attitude is very good and the restaurant is clean, well equipped and the food is good. The whole place is a looking a little tired however. The apartments are a little worn out, the beachfront is a bit of a mess, litter, broken wall, lots of plant debris washed up etc. But that doesn’t really matter unless you’re there for a long stay.  It’s pretty good value and if you’re looking for a mid priced escape, it does the job quite well. Does need some investment though to hold this position.

Absolutely amazing place. Nicely situated in the quiet village of Tejakula. Lovely quiet black sand beach which is surrounded by local fishing boats, and views of the mountains and beach. Rooms are modern and clean, and the private pools are amazing. Nice restaurant and pool and the staff are brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

Very luxurious.

Not the most ordinary hotel in hidden places of non-tourist destination, and designer - concrete and bamboo :) Each villa has its own pool, from the second floor there is a view of both the mountains and the sea, for the price it is very good. Hidden from prying eyes. A small area, which accommodated both villas, and a restaurant, and a SPA area in the form of a couple of massage tables, and also its own pool and sun loungers. For a couple of days it is good, but then it can be very boring: we chose this hotel as an intermediate point to Amed.

The way to reach this hotel can be a bit confusing: the vehicle must take a narrow road, crossing the village and its houses, before seeing the hotel appear out of nowhere, facing the sea. The welcome is warm, and the rooms are impeccably clean. Chef Kaled offers exceptional cooking classes – I loved this experience! The only point of improvement: to dress the raw concrete to give a little more warmth to the whole.

It was a very nice and different hotel. We arrived late and were vert tired so the room seemed at first too rustic but in the morning everything was beautiful and nice. The food in the restaurant was very good, the staff was super friendly. There were some ants in our room but nothing too bad.

With breathtaking views you have this luch, design hotel all by itself on the beach. We have been here for four days and did not leave the hotel once since we got here. The villas is so beautiful design, the pool - all of it. The staff in the restaurant- actually all of them are in world class of service and caring. Thank you so much We are definitely coming back- this hotel is so worth the long drive to visit Thank you for having us

My wife and I have been visiting Bali for many years and have stayed at many resorts. This is the best yet. We are old and don't need shopping and night clubs. We come to Bali for rest and relaxation and to read a book. We do like privacy good food and ocean views. The Tiing has it all. Located right on the beachfront in the middle of a fishing village. The reservation process was smooth. I later made a couple of enquiries which were promptly answered. I chose a downstairs villa with ocean views. The pool is small, but all we needed. The main pool with loungers overlooking the sea is there as well. The villa was larger than expected, well laid out and thoughtfully furnished. The bathroom was fine, but the additional outdoor bathroom was great. The carved granite bath I would have loved to bring home. The staff really care about your stay and went out of their way to accommodate some of our unusual requests. The restaurant was nice and the food very good with beautiful sunset views. Our check-in day was on our wedding anniversary and I had arranged for our pool to be decorated and for a 'Romantic Dinner'. Both were provided and absolutely amazing, completely blew my wife away.

If you are looking for amazing design & super friendly stuff in a quiet lush area this is your place! We had very relaxing stay, in one of the most beautiful spaces I ve stayed in so far. We chosed the upper room with a view to the forest from the sleeping area and sea view from the living room. Listening to some rain while reading books, swimming in the large pink pool, having good traditional food and strong massages. After 5 days we felt like new and refiled our batteries for further travel adventures. Thanks for the lovely days to the whole team, we come back for sure! Marc & Maro

We didn’t stay at The Tiing villas. We visited the restaurant three times in our Tejakula stay. The food is so delicious, with generous portions. The margaritas are very good! The food has a western slant without losing the Indonesian flavours. The mahi mahi fish was our stand out favourite.

I brought a group of 22 to The Tiing for a Yoga retreat. As we drove up I was a little worried. Tejakula is a fishing town and I wasn't sure how some of my guests would react to the no-frills surroundings. But The Tiing is a beautiful sight. The juxtaposition of its incredible brutalistic architecture and gorgeous red pool against the serene black sand and sea backdrop made this hotel one of the most beautiful stays I've experienced. Each room has a private plunge pool that's so well kept, and the rooms are spacious, unique, and very clean. The restaurant was so good. Every meal was delicious. The drinks were so good and they are not stingy with their pours. Everyone had their favorite drink on the menu, but the Citrus Me seemed to be the crowd favorite (I preferred the Back to Tejakula and the Desa Les, but everything was great). The staff cares so much about your stay and they worked tirelessly to provide everything we needed, always asking how to make it better. The spa was good, and there's a small shop with snorkeling gear that was free for our use. I recommend snorkeling at the resort because there's so much to see. We did cooking classes, the salt tour, and the purification ceremony and I recommend each one, especially the ceremony. I can't recommend The Tiing enough. I didn't want to leave!

It's still our best hotel to stay in Tejakula, the ambiance of the hotel is stunning and lovely. I stayed for 2 nights and am happy to stay all day long at the hotel. Getting an upper room with a private pool facing the mountain view and balcony facing the beach with coconut trees is absolutely a dream hotel to stay. Recommend it at all, i wll be back next holiday
