Barcelonès Hotels with balcony

The room was exactly as shown on the booking page. What you see is what you get. Toiletries and disposable slippers were also provided. We arrived late on our first day and didn't have time to buy water, so the hotel gave us a bottle, which was very nice! We booked a standard double room, but it had a small balcony overlooking the pool and outdoor restaurant. The view was lovely. The security was also very good; nothing was lost during our several nights. We also noticed that the automatic door at the entrance was manually controlled by the front desk, so unauthorized people wouldn't be able to get in.

This hotel truly has it all! Located conveniently on a corner, it's perfectly situated for easy access to dining and shopping. I even got to enjoy Cheese99, a popular spot, every day. Plus, it's within walking distance of Gaudí's masterpieces: Sagrada Família (25-30 minutes), Casa Batlló (15-20 minutes), and Casa Milà (10-15 minutes). The service deserves a special mention. They were able to book tickets for a football match, and I was incredibly lucky to catch Barcelona playing Copenhagen at home. This included round-trip transfers from Camp Nou to the hotel. Although I interacted with four different staff members for inquiries, confirmation, payment, and transfers (due to different shifts), they all maintained excellent communication throughout. It made for an unforgettable and wonderful evening. I truly experienced the magic of football – the players' agility, their teamwork, varied passing, and the unpredictable, thrilling score changes. The stadium was packed with fans, their cheers and enthusiasm palpable, singing and dancing with genuine passion for the sport! ⚽

The reception staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, which made our stay feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. We also truly loved the rooms—they were beautiful, well-maintained, and added a lot to the overall experience. The team was generally very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. However, there was one small disappointment. I had requested a birthday arrangement for my husband on three separate occasions, but unfortunately, I did not receive any response. I completely understand that such requests are not always guaranteed, but it would have been appreciated to at least receive a reply or update.  Overall, we had a lovely stay, and with a bit more communication on special requests, the experience could have been perfect.

This was my very first time planning a solo trip abroad, and I was admittedly quite anxious after paying the full price and then reading some mixed reviews. Since the policy didn’t allow cancellations, I checked in with a bit of worry—but I’m really glad I did. The room turned out to be pleasantly clean and well-organized. I particularly liked the layout: there are two doors between the bedroom and the bathroom, which gave me a strong sense of privacy and security while resting. Another highlight was the lovely scent in the room—it instantly made me feel at ease and almost like being at home. (If possible, I’d love to ask what kind of aroma sachet or air freshener is used—I’d like to buy the same one!) During mid-November, the evenings in Barcelona were slightly chilly, but the heating/air-conditioning unit in the room worked well and kept things comfortable. That said, when the unit is turned on, there’s a noticeable mechanical noise—it’s not too loud and didn’t disturb my rest, but worth mentioning. I also appreciated how responsive the staff were. On my first night, I thought the external shutter in the room was broken. I reported it to the front desk, and the manager quickly sent someone to assist. It turned out the shutter was manually operated by a cord hidden behind the inner curtain on the far right—easy to miss at first glance. Although the hotel isn’t in the city center, transportation was convenient—there’s a nearby bus stop within walking distance, with easy access to both the metro and Sants train station. A nice bonus: just a 3-minute walk away is a bakery called Joncake & Wine, a branch of the famous Joncake. Their Basque cheesecake is incredible, and being a branch, it’s much less crowded than the main store. There’s also a small convenience store right downstairs—great for picking up water or other essentials. One downside would be the soundproofing. The walls and floors seem quite thin, so I could hear voices and footsteps from the neighboring room. It wasn’t too disruptive for me, but worth noting. Originally, I only planned to stay three nights, but I ended up liking it enough to extend for another three. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations and became a memorable part of my solo trip to Spain.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. We enjoyed the stay as the location is within walking distance for food, shops and near the Metro station. The buffet serves 24 hours is awesome as in the middle of the night, we could just walk-in and enjoy the drinks and snacks and chit-chat. The counter staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall we have a great time during the stay!

The room was clean and hygienic, and the surrounding area was quiet. It was also very convenient to get around. The facilities were good, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a kettle, which was a thoughtful touch. The service was excellent; the front desk staff were very warm and patient.

It was a very clean accommodation and plenty of towels were provided. It was a little inconvenient because laundry was done in a shared facility on the 5th floor, and I was a little disappointed that they assigned me a room with a rear view without even asking how many rooms had a view of the Sagrada. There is a rest area and a pool on the rooftop, so it would be nice when the weather is nice. The location is far from major tourist attractions, so it's a bit inconvenient to take the subway every day, so if I had to do it again, I think I'd pick it near Plaza Catalunya.

Overall, the stay was good. There was a fantastic free Sangria Masterclass and a lovely rooftop terrace! However, the cleaning should be done more frequently, and the beds should perhaps be changed once a week if you're staying longer. The public toilet/shower wasn't cleaned for five days, and it looked like it. We had to report it before it was cleaned, and the same applied to our room, unfortunately.

The late check-in fee must be paid in cash. Check-in after 3:00 AM is not possible because we do not have 24-hour service. If you arrive this late, we will be able to accommodate you the following morning from 10:00 AM. Late check-in must be notified in advance. If you do not notify us in advance, we will be entitled to accommodate you the following day. Guests, please respect each other and each other's time. 4) Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a fine of 50 euros. 5) We take neighborly relations very seriously, so any noise that may disturb them is prohibited, especially after 10:00 p.m. 6) Parties (drinks) are strictly prohibited inside the apartment. 7) Guests who are not included in the reservation are not permitted to stay overnight. 8) A separate shelf in the refrigerator is designated for your room; in front of it, there is a number corresponding to your room number. 9) At the end of the stay, the tenant agrees to leave the kitchen utensils (plates, glasses, pans, cutlery) clean. 10) When leaving the apartment, always make sure the lights are off and the doors and windows are closed. Additional Services: - Cleaning during your stay: 10 euros per day (optional). - Laundry service: 15 euros per wash (includes washing and drying). - Luggage storage, only on the day of departure, for 10 euros before 6:00 pm, then 5 euros per hour, but no later than 8:00 pm, upon request. - Crib: 10 euros per day, subject to availability. - In air-conditioned rooms, use of the air conditioning is an additional service and costs 10 euros per day.

Excellent séjour, Le personnel est extrêmement bienveillant, aimable et toujours prêt à aider. Leur professionnalisme a rendu notre séjour très agréable. L'hôtel est très confortable, propre et idéalement situé, à proximité de toutes les principales attractions et des transports. Je le recommande sans hésitation et j'y reviendrai avec plaisir
