"The hotel environment is fantastic! There's a big lawn right as you enter. It's super convenient, just a few hundred meters walk from Qingming Riverside Landscape Park. We spent two days at Qingyuan and still didn't want to leave! The hotel service was also great, and they didn't even ask for a good review – I'm writing this proactively! All the nearby attractions are concentrated, so staying here is very handy. The only downside was that I couldn't get used to the food in Kaifeng, it was too salty 😂"

"1. The location of the hotel is relatively easy to find, the basement parking space is sufficient, directly to the hotel
2. The layout of the room is reasonable, the bathroom and shower are completely separated, especially suitable for friends to travel! The interior is clean as a whole
3. Living is more comfortable, quiet at night, a little noisy road
4. The breakfast dishes are only Chinese, the overall taste is OK, but the soy milk at night has a little bit of soy residue. It is recommended to add categories, such as clear soup noodles, fried eggs, small tomatoes, watermelon and other seasonal fruits.

"An unexpectedly great stay! I didn't have high expectations for a guesthouse, but the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even upgraded us to a family room. While the room's wooden decor made it look a bit dated, it was clean, all the facilities worked perfectly, and there were no strange odors. During our stay, the breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the quality and taste were excellent. The staff were very helpful and provided great service. The guesthouse is also conveniently located, just a five to six-minute walk from Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden and the boat pier."

"1. There's an underground parking lot, which is very convenient if you're driving. There's no elevator, but the hotel staff will help with your luggage.
2. It's super convenient for visiting Qingyuan Garden; I specifically chose this hotel for its location. You can walk to the Qingyuan Welcome Gate in just a few minutes.
3. The room facilities are very new, and it's quite quiet at night, which is perfect for a light sleeper like me. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be if the shower water pressure was a bit stronger!
4. There's a Xingshengde restaurant nearby where you can eat, and the food is good. The breakfast provided by the hotel is also quite nice.
5. The service is exceptional; they are incredibly enthusiastic and respond quickly to any requests.
Finally, the night tour of Qingyuan Garden was truly beautiful!"

Located right next to Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, it's incredibly convenient to get around; you can walk right there. The guesthouse exceeded my expectations in terms of environment and value for money! The ambiance is exceptionally elegant, with plenty of greenery in the courtyard, perfect for taking great photos. The rooms are spacious, ideal for family trips, the mattresses are comfortable, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The owner was incredibly welcoming, making it a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Kaifeng!

Guest UserThe luckiest thing about traveling to Kaifeng is that I chose this homestay! The location is simply amazing. It takes only 3 minutes to walk to the Qingming Riverside Park. In the morning, you can easily catch the first wave of admission to avoid the crowds. In the evening, after watching the performance of ”The Great Song Dynasty: Tokyo Dreams”, you can take a walk back to the room to rest. The room is clean and warm, the layout is full of Song Dynasty elements, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and it is super safe to live in. The boss is warm and considerate, and also recommended super authentic food shops around. The cost-effectiveness is super high, I will stay here next time I come to Kaifeng!

CaishenlaiwojiaqiaomenThe boss is very nice. She is warm and sincere and has a very good service attitude. Her dog is also very cute and family. She will provide help in time when needed. Seeing that I haven't eaten breakfast, she even gave me a big corn on the cob. Wow, she is really my friend. Cry to death.
The environment is very comfortable and the sanitary conditions are very good. I wore the newly bought slippers everywhere and the soles were not dirty at all. I was surprised. They are really clean. It is also very quiet at night in the alley, so I can sleep comfortably. This B&B is really great. It is fully booked almost every day. I will stay here again next time I come!

After a long search, I chose this hotel and was delighted to find its location absolutely superb. The room facilities were clean, modern, and exactly as pictured. It was less than a two-minute walk to the Yingbin Gate of Shangqing Garden. Stepping out of the hotel, you're right by the riverbank, and the evening views are especially beautiful. After a tiring afternoon exploring the garden, we could relax in the small courtyard and enjoy the scenery. Since we arrived quite late, the owner personally helped us with our luggage, which was incredibly welcoming. He also gave us recommendations for places to eat. Our first night was on the second floor, where we enjoyed the view from the balcony. Due to high demand, we extended our stay and moved to a ground-floor room with a small courtyard for the second night. Both rooms had their own unique charm. I rarely leave reviews, but I truly felt the owner's dedication to running this place, so I wanted to show my support.

Guest UserThe pleasant surprise of my Kaifeng trip was booking this guesthouse. It feels like a beautiful garden, incredibly quiet, comfortable, clean, and very high-end. The room was super spacious and bright, and it's very kid-friendly. Check-in was smooth, and the ladies at the front desk were all super nice, patient, and helpful, even assisting with our luggage. The best part is it's very, very close to Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, just a short walk away. We could easily come back to rest whenever we got tired from exploring. They even gave us some delicious local pastries upon check-out! I genuinely love the decor and atmosphere of this guesthouse. I'll definitely book this place again on my next visit!

This rooftop hostel is definitely the best value for money in Kaifeng! Its main advantage is the location: right next to Gulou Night Market, surrounded by attractions, so transportation and finding food are absolutely no worries – perfect for travelers who love to explore on foot. As a newly built hostel, the cleanliness is top-notch. The rooms are simple yet cozy, bedding is clean and odor-free. There are plenty of showers and toilets, 24-hour hot water, and they even provide bath towels, toiletries, and drinking water – super thoughtful details. The common area is spacious and well-equipped, with billiards, a reading lounge, and separate male/female washing areas, which is a nice touch. The staff are always ready to answer questions and you can store your luggage for free. Students and backpackers, book this place without hesitation! You'll get a comfortable and convenient stay for a small price.

Overall: Excellent, my top choice for future stays in Kaifeng.
Pros:
To be specific, the environment and facilities absolutely blow other Kaifeng hotels out of the water. The design is very strong without sacrificing practicality. The suite's internal layout is quite reasonable. Breakfast felt pretty good, especially the dining environment. The high ceilings in the room were very comfortable, giving a sense of space, and the decor details were very high-end.
Cons:
The living room and bedroom in the suite face a low shrub wall, but there's also a path outside where people can walk, so privacy is a bit of an issue. If you don't close the curtains and someone happens to walk by, you're like a fish in a fishbowl. The welcome dessert platter was exquisite, but not tasty, and it was left in the room from check-in until check-out without being removed. The sliding closet door wouldn't close completely and would slowly slide open on its own (a bit eerie at night). There were also some hygiene issues, but I've already provided feedback to the hotel, and I'm confident they will improve.
Despite a few issues, the hotel's environment, location, facilities, and service attitude are all superb. There's no reason for me not to choose it again. One of the hotel's entrances is right at the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, and the other is at the Wansui Mountain entrance. Those visiting Kaifeng should definitely give it a try; I don't think you'll find a better option.

This homestay is really satisfied! The location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, it is very close to the high-speed rail station and various attractions, and the travel is super worry-free. The room was clean and tidy, the living was warm and comfortable, and there was no depression at all. The most plus point is that there is a big balcony on the second floor, which is especially convenient for drying clothes and is too friendly to people traveling. Downstairs is a snack street, breakfast is rich and delicious, one-stop for eating, drinking, living and traveling. The boss is warm and thoughtful, the service is intimate, the price is super high, come here to live here is definitely not stepping on the pit, highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during the Qingming Festival holiday this year. Traveling to Kaifeng with my elderly parents was supposed to be quite tiring, but the service at Xindongyuan Hotel was unexpectedly excellent. The staff were warm and attentive; they helped with luggage, pushed wheelchairs, and expedited the check-in process. This saved me a lot of hassle and was a huge help. They even thoughtfully provided a nail clipper with their logo.
Especially noteworthy was the house manager on the first floor, who was incredibly welcoming and attentive every day. They even patiently taught me how to make a lacquer fan, which turned out beautifully! I'm very grateful to the house manager and all the staff at Xindongyuan Hotel. For anyone planning a trip to Kaifeng, I highly recommend this hotel – it's well-located, making it easy to get to all the attractions.
