"Traveled with my mom and stayed at this hotel, and we were absolutely delighted! It's conveniently located right across from Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, just a three to four-minute walk away. The room was exceptionally clean, the bedding was comfortable, and most importantly, it was very quiet! While the breakfast wasn't extensive, it was thoughtfully prepared, and every item was high-quality. The service was also excellent, with the staff being warm, attentive, and proactive in helping with our luggage. The hotel even offers complimentary roasted sweet potatoes and white fungus and red date soup, along with a tea room and a library."

"I've stayed at Atour hotels in Chongqing and Luoyang, but this one is by far the most beautiful. The facilities are brand new, and it's super convenient, only 800 meters from the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden Welcome Gate – a 10-minute walk or a 7-yuan taxi ride. The Xing Sheng De restaurant next door is excellent, especially their bucket chicken. The hotel also has four sets of washer/dryers, which makes laundry a breeze. The staff are very friendly too. When I went to pick up my laundry right on time, I found one of the ladies had already thoughtfully folded my clothes instead of just piling them up, which I really appreciated."

"After a long search, I chose this hotel and was delighted to find its location absolutely superb. The room facilities were clean, modern, and exactly as pictured. It was less than a two-minute walk to the Yingbin Gate of Shangqing Garden. Stepping out of the hotel, you're right by the riverbank, and the evening views are especially beautiful. After a tiring afternoon exploring the garden, we could relax in the small courtyard and enjoy the scenery. Since we arrived quite late, the owner personally helped us with our luggage, which was incredibly welcoming. He also gave us recommendations for places to eat. Our first night was on the second floor, where we enjoyed the view from the balcony. Due to high demand, we extended our stay and moved to a ground-floor room with a small courtyard for the second night. Both rooms had their own unique charm. I rarely leave reviews, but I truly felt the owner's dedication to running this place, so I wanted to show my support."

"We traveled here with family for a business trip, staying two nights. The hotel was excellent value for money, and the photos matched the actual hotel perfectly. Firstly, it's conveniently located just one traffic light from the museum and about 2 kilometers from Wanda Plaza. The hotel is easy to find, not in the bustling city center, making it relatively quiet. There are road signs, and it has a private garage, suitable for those driving.
The hotel owner seems to be quite particular; the interior decoration is detailed, featuring solid wood design, comfortable pillows, and a high-quality feel, showing no signs of being perfunctory. Most importantly, it was very clean; the housekeeping staff were very attentive. We encountered a fair-skinned cleaning lady who was warm and meticulous. It's worth mentioning that the copper hot pot in the hotel restaurant was truly delicious, with the signature lamb being fragrant but not greasy, and the side dishes crisp and refreshing.
Additionally, I suggest adding fruit to the breakfast menu, regardless of the weather."

Thoughtfully designed, this guesthouse perfectly blends various elements to create a comfortable atmosphere. Both the environment and service are excellent. It seems like it just opened this year, as there are a few hardware aspects that could be improved. For example, the air conditioning is quite loud, even on the lowest setting, and the draft from it hits both the side of the bed and the sofa. The sink drain also needs some improvement to prevent odors. The owner has received this feedback and plans to make improvements. Overall, it's a unique guesthouse run with great care, and being a 5-minute walk from the Qingming Shanghe Garden Welcome Gate is a definite highlight.

The hotel was quite good. The mattress was just right, not too soft nor too hard, and the pillows were fluffy and soft. The room had excellent soundproofing, making it incredibly quiet at night, allowing me to fully unwind from my travels and sleep very soundly. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, and the hot water was stable with good pressure. The toiletries were of good quality. The hotel service was very responsive; any requests were handled promptly and effectively!

Guest UserI accidentally booked 5 twin rooms, and to my surprise, upon arrival, I found each room had a king-size bed (1.8m) and a queen-size bed (1.5m), which could easily sleep four people. The room was clean and tidy, and the garden view outside the window was stunning. The villa area is just a 5-minute walk to the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden scenic spot, which was very convenient for us to rest after exploring and then head back out in the evening for the iron flower performance. The front desk staff was incredibly warm and attentive, and the restaurant they recommended had top-notch food at a reasonable price.

Children sweat a lot in summer and hand-washed clothes dry very slowly. It is much more convenient to wash them quickly in the washing machine. The location is in the old city, convenient for going to scenic spots and convenient for eating nearby. The boss is warm and hospitable.

Located right next to Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, it's incredibly convenient to get around; you can walk right there. The guesthouse exceeded my expectations in terms of environment and value for money! The ambiance is exceptionally elegant, with plenty of greenery in the courtyard, perfect for taking great photos. The rooms are spacious, ideal for family trips, the mattresses are comfortable, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The owner was incredibly welcoming, making it a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Kaifeng!

Lynn LiThe twin room felt like a tower with a dormer window. It was quite unique to be able to see the sky when I opened the curtains at night. The location is excellent, very close to Gulou, Xiangguo Temple, and Yanqing Temple, and not too far from Longting Park, making it very convenient for getting around. Gulou Night Market has lots of food and is very lively.

This homestay is really satisfied! The location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, it is very close to the high-speed rail station and various attractions, and the travel is super worry-free. The room was clean and tidy, the living was warm and comfortable, and there was no depression at all. The most plus point is that there is a big balcony on the second floor, which is especially convenient for drying clothes and is too friendly to people traveling. Downstairs is a snack street, breakfast is rich and delicious, one-stop for eating, drinking, living and traveling. The boss is warm and thoughtful, the service is intimate, the price is super high, come here to live here is definitely not stepping on the pit, highly recommended!

This hotel left a deep impression on me. The lobby is large and warm. The front desk service is very good. It feels like a sincere service. Parking is very convenient. The bedding in the room is very comfortable. The voice smart facilities are very useful. , the shower flow is very large, the water temperature is comfortable, the shower is very comfortable, the hygiene is in place, and the gym and laundry are very convenient. Facilities: There's a separate women's restroom and shower on the third floor! The hot water is really hot too, so no worries if you're sensitive to cold.
Surroundings: Xisi Night Market is right outside, so you can just pop out and stroll around a couple of times to find something to eat. The environment is really nice.
Service: The front desk staff are super friendly and everyone is very welcoming. Plus, there are cats!

Guest UserI had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during the Qingming Festival holiday this year. Traveling to Kaifeng with my elderly parents was supposed to be quite tiring, but the service at Xindongyuan Hotel was unexpectedly excellent. The staff were warm and attentive; they helped with luggage, pushed wheelchairs, and expedited the check-in process. This saved me a lot of hassle and was a huge help. They even thoughtfully provided a nail clipper with their logo.
Especially noteworthy was the house manager on the first floor, who was incredibly welcoming and attentive every day. They even patiently taught me how to make a lacquer fan, which turned out beautifully! I'm very grateful to the house manager and all the staff at Xindongyuan Hotel. For anyone planning a trip to Kaifeng, I highly recommend this hotel – it's well-located, making it easy to get to all the attractions.
