nice hotel with breakfast buffet and heated swimming pool good for family bonding, unfortunately the staff was not that friendly and the bellman seems like you need to give him a tip after his service and also the receptionist but I would like to commend the housekeepers, lifeguard and parking staff for always greeting us.
I would definitely come back because of the hotel amenities

Although it’s not located in the city center, this hotel is truly a hidden gem in Baguio! It’s easily accessible by public transportation and has so much to offer. Just a few minutes’ walk away are some of the city’s famous landmarks—Botanical Garden, Teachers Camp, Wright Park, and The Mansion. They serve meals throughout the day—from breakfast to lunch and even a hearty afternoon merienda with a wide variety of choices. If you’re not into buffets, no worries—they also have different outlets to suit your dining preferences. I also loved the convenience of having a pharmacy and mart within the hotel. Parking is never a problem as they have plenty of space, and their pasalubong center is a great bonus—offering Cordillera products and local specialties. I was absolutely amazed by their raisin bread and cheese bread (stuffed with lots of fruits!). I brought some home to share with friends at work, and everyone loved it! A must-try! My only small concern was the morning coffee—it was a bit too strong for my taste, but the barista mentioned it was brewed from local Kalinga beans, which is pretty cool. Overall, the service was excellent. I will definitely come back again with friends on my next vacation!

Good location, ample parking, BUT NOT SENIOR FRIENDLY, there are lots of stairs to take before you can reach the lobby. The hotel we observed is also dated and needs a lot of improvement. There was only 1 elevator working, so people had to wait for that specific elevator to reach you. There was breakfast, and it felt like there was a fiesta every day. And grabe daming tao! Food selection naman is good, medyo overcooked lang yung fish.

My friends recommended Newtown Plaza Hotel, and I’m so glad they did! I booked through their Facebook page, and the Reservation Agent, JP, was very approachable and responsive to all my queries. We brought our car during our vacation in Baguio, and the hotel offers ample, free parking for all guests — a big plus! Upon our arrival, the Bellmen and Security Officer warmly assisted us, offering welcome drinks and helping us until we were comfortably checked in. Special commendations to Noy, Jerome and Ivan for their outstanding customer service. The receptionists were also very friendly and accommodating. Our check-in was smooth and quick, processed by Charles, who welcomed us with a big smile. When we arrived, their restaurant, Elements Buffet, was jam-packed — a good sign! The lively atmosphere made us even more excited to dine. Breakfast was overwhelming (in a good way!) because of the wide variety of choices. Special thanks to Jean Rey for always checking on us and ensuring we had everything we needed during breakfast. We also enjoyed free access to their swimming pool, KidZone, and gym. There are other outlets and a convenience mart with a pharmacy right within the area, making everything so convenient. Plus, the hotel is just about 100 meters away from the famous Botanical Garden! Overall, our experience was amazing, and we will surely come back again!
