Chengde Apartments

Highly recommend. We live in China and have stayed in a few different cities/hotels now and this was by far the best. The building is historic and beautiful and extremely well maintained. The rooms feel brand new and are very thoughtfully laid out. The room comes with all kinds of small conveniences in case you forgot something or need something. The staff were all extremely helpful and welcoming, from the front office staff to the housekeeping to the repair men. We arrived late on a stormy night and they went out of their way to help us figure out dinner. When the weather got worse and spoiled our plans, the staff did everything they could to rescue the weekend, even at the hotels expense. We plan to come back again when the weather is nicer and will 100% stay here. I can't imagine why you would stay anywhere else, especially if you're there to sightsee. The hotel opens directly into the park, it's wonderful.

The room is clean and bright, with a good view. It is in a residential area, not facing the street, and very quiet. There are tents, dolls, building blocks, and picture books in the room, so children can play by themselves for a long time. The service was very good and attentive. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor is cost-effective and tastes good.

Xiao Yang from the reservation department offered praise, called many times to confirm the needs, and tried his best to meet the requirements. The children liked it very much. The hotel beds are on the hard side, the pillows and quilts are good, and the hygiene is good. Swimming pool: The swimming pool facilities on the 22nd floor are good. The water has no smell, but it is not particularly clean. The water temperature is low and the depth is 1.2-1.5. Bring your own swimming ring or buy one. The children have a great time. Breakfast: It's pretty average. It's not as good as the reviews, but it's not too bad either. If you don't have high hopes, you won't be disappointed. It is recommended to add local specialties. Environment: Children can feed the fish in the Chinese-style courtyard over there, and the colorful lights at the door are nice. Spa: The hotel provides spa tickets, and everything there is free of charge. The price of drinks is good, less than 8 yuan, and the price of meals is okay, but a bit salty. The service is good and enthusiastic, and the equipment is new and clean. The children had a lot of fun soaking in the pool. There is a naughty castle and a sand pool for children, and they need to buy socks. The waiter will help look after the children. Disadvantages: The elevator door does not sense and may be pinched. There is no need to give a bottle of water as a souvenir. Will recommend to friends, worth coming again.

Affordable and value for money stay in the heart of Cheng De city. The check in process was very quick even for me who is a non-PRC citizen. The room was very clean and tidy but the bed could be more comfortable. All amenities such as a toothbrush, towel, shower cap and soap provided. The toilet is spacious and comes with a strong lamp heater. However the toilet might be a bit old. The staff is friendly and even gave me a free upgrade to a window room. They greeted me when I went out of the hotel and when I went back.

ATOUR hotel is located in the central part of the city. The equestrian statue of Emperor Kangxi decorates the square adjacent to the hotel. The summer residence of the Qing emperors is within walking distance. It takes 10-15 minutes by taxi to get to Patala and numerous temples and palaces. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby where you can eat deliciously. Don't miss the Manchurian restaurant where you can try venison and many unusual delicacies. The managers who meet you at the reception are very friendly. Every time you leave the hotel for an excursion, they offer to take bottles of water with you. The room is quite large, minimalist interior - nothing superfluous. There is a lot of storage space, the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is equipped with everything you need. Very nice tea pairs at the tea reading (see photo), good tea and good coffee. We did not book breakfast. Overall, we are satisfied. .

Good location, clean hotel, nice breakfast. The hotel even deliver dessert to the room after dinner time. I have parcel not able to reach the hotel and the receptionist, 赵丽伟and her colleagues were helping me to contact the delivery man to make sure my parcel can arrive hotel on time. Really appreciate their help on this matter. Overall, it is recommended to stay in this hotel in Chengde.

Nice stay for 1 night in Chengde. Great service, free parking lots, friendly and helpful staff. Room, very clean, bright with a grand view to the river. Bathroom divided in tube/shower, toilet room and make-up space. Breakfast with a great choice of Chinese food. Just a few things related with international breakfast. The hotel is located not directly to many shops and restaurants. We took a taxi to the recommended restaurants and scenic places.

I want to say that this is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. I brought the elderly and children to Chengde for a May Day trip. I stayed in Tianbao Holiday for four days and three nights. I arrived at 11 noon on the first day and arranged for early check-in. The welcoming guy helped us drag our luggage to the room. Every service staff we met took the initiative to greet us with a smile. There were obvious signs on the steps, and the service staff reminded us to pay attention to safety. On the 11th floor where we stayed, the waiter Liu Fengxia took great care of us in the past few days. We were fed snacks every day. When it was hot, we took the initiative to put a few more bottles of mineral water in the room. There was also white fungus soup to relieve internal heat every night. All the details touched us and made us feel like we were home. When we left, they also prepared food for us on the road. I also recommend Tianbao's main meal. I ate it for two consecutive days. It was economical and tasted great. I personally think it was better than the restaurant recommended on Dianping. The elderly and children said that the happiest thing about this trip was staying in Tianbao Holiday. They will stay here when they come to Chengde in the future.

I decided to stay for one night temporarily. It was very convenient to place an order with Ctrip. The room was clean and tidy and the space was large. The place was quiet and comfortable. Parking was convenient. There were many rooms. The restaurant in the hotel was delicious and large in quantity. It was delicious and not expensive. I recommend this lamb chop. This one The white ones are made of almonds, I can’t remember the name. The almond flavor is very strong and hot and delicious. We were eating very late and the waiter kept waiting. There are charging piles in the parking lot next to the hotel, which is very convenient for friends who have trams. First of all, I met the boss, who was still as enthusiastic as when I met him many years ago. Although they have experienced three years of epidemic, their enthusiasm has not faded at all, and their service has become more meticulous. This can understand that Chengde has opened its own travel agency. Each customer only needs ¥9.9 cents for the guide service fee. Professional tour guides will accompany everyone to visit the Summer Resort and give a detailed explanation of the entire history of Chengde. How persistent and passionate they are about the tourism industry. They also helped me book tickets for the circus performance, which is not only trouble-free but also... You know 😯 The hotel also has its own small leisure yard, which is very comfortable away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
