Thalazur Antibes - Résidence & Spa Reviews

It is not what you would call a 4 stars, walls, doors, carpets in the rooms and especially in the common areas, not clean. Staff, especially in the dining room, not very welcoming. They ask you to fill out a form to monitor that you have found the room ok for cleanliness etc. This thing in addition to the other reviews makes me think that compared to the past they are trying to improve but there is a long way to go, especially the details, such as the stained velvet of the bed, the dust, dirty windows in the corridors and other refinements that went well beyond the questionnaire. Breakfast was ok. A 4 stars hotel should offer a certain level of service, elegance and comfort and it's not enough.

Our first room, what's dirty. It was like they haven't cleaned it since the last guest heater didn't work, so we spent one cold night.. They moved us to another room again. It was dirty, but at least the heater worked . The hallways were dirty. We were there for 3 days, not once, did it vacuum? The hallways. And they do not provide turnover service

Nice hotel, I stayed in the residences which suits my needs better as it has a kitchen. Only draw back was that there was an ant nest in the walls (2125), and I had to commit ant genocide on a daily basis.

Very spacious apartment and bathroom! The pool and spa facilities were impressive.

I keep coming to this wonderful place since 2018 and it never disappoints me. Clean spacious room, with a huge balcony. Comfortable bed and pillows. Little kitchenette where you can make yourself a quick breakfast or a late meal. Great SPA area and the outdoor swimming pools. Pity that this time the outdoor thing wasn't heated, but it was just a minor trouble.

The service is nice. My luggage was lost at the first night, and the waiter gave me period pads. Though our room was not ready to check-in, the hotel immediately upgraded to another room. However, the hotel took nearly a 30-minute walk to the train station, and we nearly got lost.

This was a fantastic hotel with an excellent shuttle service to Antibes. Excellent, friendly staff and brilliant facilities. Great for families with older kids but little ones were also welcome. Would recommend and would definitely book again!

Pros: - Good value for money; - Cleanliness; - Own territory with swimming pool and terrace; - Thalassa services. Cons: - Location far from Antibes and even Biot train station (25-30 minutes on foot); - Front desk staff could be more service-oriented; - The lighting did not work in my room while checking in, thus had to wait for another room to be assigned; - Cleaning is 55 Eur, 15 Eur just to change towels. It's the first time ever I met such an approach in my extensive travel history across the globe within the last 10 years. Even 5 star hotels do the cleaning on a daily basis without any charge in any country (it's a normality).

Dejligt hotel og spa med fine faciliteter. Vi nød opholdet. Eneste bemærkning er at betjeningen omend venlig var ret uopmærksom. Blev glemt et par gange.

The entire staff and service are close to excellence. In particular the reception service with Olivier and Raphaël. Unfortunately, regarding the apartments, if the maintenance is good, the condition is very disparate including for the most expensive ones with a nice side sea view. Some have been partially renovated others are dilapidated like 2321 (sagging mattresses, ripped bathroom accessories, one in two cooking plates not working, refrigerator permanently freezing...). If you are allocated an apartment in poor condition, do not hesitate to let us know, the reception team will do their best to change it. The swimming pools are very beautiful, the cocktails delicious with the view of the Bay of Angels as is the catering. It is a shame that the management of the group neglects the condition of several apartments so much.

Excellent stay, with breakfast options available on site with hot drinks, mini pastries and orange juice, for €7/person. Very good-sized room, well-equipped! We will happily return.

Very good, except that the dishes were dirty (greasy) and minimal dishes, just 2 forks. We should plan a big cleaning at the entrance door of the room (inside) to wonder if the door has already been cleaned since its break😝, otherwise we will come back as usual 😜

A nice surprise considering the price

The location is poor/inconvenient. If you don't have a car, it's located in a gated community, so there's no easy access to bus services or the market. You have to go around the entire community to get to the restrooms (about a 25-minute walk). We don't know what the service is like, since they didn't come to clean the room every day (we were there for 5 days), even though the "cleaning" sign was posted. Breakfast is charged at €21 per person per day, and we didn't ask about the menu. The room has a comfortable bed, a bathroom with soap and moisturizer, and a well-equipped kitchen. However, a corkscrew was missing.
