A three-star hotel is probably a far-fetched opinion. Compared to other hotels, three stars in Fortuna are a big stretch. You definitely have to thank and praise the nice service and the tasty breakfast (sweet and savory) but without hot dishes. On the other hand, the minuses that influenced my rating are cracked walls, holes in the walls, dirty doors and windows, visible mold behind the shower door. No cosmetics in the bathroom. The air conditioning only works on heating (no cooling), the walls are thin and you can hear everything that is happening in the corridor / outside the window and in the next room. The price is too high in relation to the quality. Personally - I do not recommend :(

usually, hotels near train stations are a bit seedy, but the Hotel Fortuna was very comfortable and updated. The room was in good condition and at first, I thought the bed might be uncomfortable when I saw it, but it turned out to be quite comfortable with extra pillows and nice linens. Definitely nicer than I expected

The rooms at Hotel Fortuna are simple and basic - with a desk, bed & wardrobe. My room had a small balcony. The bathroom was decent-sized. For the price, it was worth it. Pros - directly opposite Ancona station. Stay here if you need to get to other destinations in the region by train. Connectivity to the old town is convenient with frequent bus services from the station. It is not walkable so you will need to take public transport. There is a coffee shop next door where you can buy bus tickets. - Polite staff who spoke English well. - Housekeeping did a good job. - Great water pressure which was nice and hot. No kettle in the room so used the hot water to make tea. - Comfortable bed and pillows Cons - Air conditioning was set to ‘Heat’ as it’s not yet summer. Visited in May so the room can get stuffy during the day unless you leave the balcony door open. - No kettle or mini fridge in the room. - The wifi was intermittent during my 2-night stay. - A single plug point near the bed. Carry a multi-plug adapter if you need to charge multiple devices. - Not much in the area for food. - Room keys are clunky and inconvenient to carry around.

Stayed whilst waiting for a late flight after disembarking a cruise. The room was basic but clean if a little worn round the edges. Had a small balcony overlooking the main road towards the train station. I was very impressed how well the windows kept out the noise. It's very handy for the train staion and a taxi will cost around 12 euro to the port or there is always the bus. I wouldn't use it as a base for a vacation but was certainly fine for an overnight stay. I would stay here again.

Hotel more than decent, clean, breakfast more than suitable for the price, really kind staff. Strongly recommended for those who are preparing to make a quick visit to the city and move by public transport.

We stayed one night, I want to highlight the attention of all the girls at reception and at the breakfast room, super attentive and resolved all our concerns. The hotel is in front of the train station, it is not the best area but it is easy to get around and it has several restaurants for dinner a few meters away. It is an old hotel, everything is also clean, the room is spacious, comfortable and the breakfast was super complete, everything fresh, varied and very good coffee. We were surprised for good!

Easy access, very welcoming staff. Spacious room with a dirty shower but no air conditioning, too bad. A fairly varied lunch included in the price Nice restaurant next to the hotel.

We took this hotel for its strategic location, in fact it is very easy to get to the station and bus stops. Super nice and polite staff and impeccable room cleaning. The breakfast as already mentioned by others is super abundant and for all tastes, covid rules fully respected, if you don't wear gloves you can't take anything.

Buen hotel, lo elegimos por su ubicación frente a la estación de trenes de Ancona, pero esta también bien ubicado, con un bus llegas al centro o puerto de Ancona. Estuvo muy cómodo todo. La recepción en el Hotel muy atenta para aconsejarnos, o explicarnos como movernos en Ancona. Genial

Posizionato proprio davanti la stazione è stracomodo per autobus e navette per concerti come nel mio caso...anzi aggiungerei pure i complimenti alla Cittò di Ancona che ha avuto una orgazizzazione eccellente. Camera con tutti i confort pulita, colazione varia buona ed abbondante. Qualità/prezzo più che buono.

Io e il mio compagno ci siamo fermati qui per dormire. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile e l’hotel si trova proprio davanti alla stazione, quindi molto comodo. Stanza ampia e ben pulita. Colazione varia ed abbondante. Prezzi bassi. Lo consiglio come appoggio.
