夫婦兩人開的家庭旅館，房間很乾凈，温馨。倆人很健談，如果英語好，可以與夫婦兩人暢聊。夫婦兩人準備了早餐卡，可以在早餐卡上畫✓選擇第二天早餐的食物，食物很豐富，味道也很不錯，註明幾點吃早餐，然後就可以好好享用了。

Amazing place to stay & great location too. We stayed in Room 5 & found the room to be even more spacious than the picture shows it to be. Couldn’t fault how clean the room & overall house was. Everything you could ask for provided in the room - numerous towels, body wash, TV, free WiFi etc. The morning breakfast was delicious & there were lots of options to choose from. And to top it off our hosts were great - so helpful, approachable & all round great people. Thank you so much for having us & we’ll certainly be back!

A super place to stay - I thoroughly recommend it. The owners are super welcoming and helpful and their breakfasts are epic. They really set you up for a good walk. The room itself was warm and quiet with a comfy bed. The location is great, just a 100 meters or so from some good restaurants. The owners recommended Misto, an Italian just around the corner - which was superb too. There is a big sign outside the front door which is useful to spot if you are unfamiliar with Ambleside. Turn left just before it into a side street and there is on street parking. The owners will give you a disc for free parking which is a bonus.

Adie and Mandy are superb hosts, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spotless and every floor smells divine. Mandy your breakfasts are superb, the produce is excellent, really like the sausages! Special mention for Adie, you really do a mean cereal apparently, it's not easy I know! We will 100% be back again if you will have us! Andy and Sally

My two nights at Brantfell were excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, and is located just a short walk from the many pubs, restaurants, and trails Ambleside has to offer. Our hosts made a delicious full English breakfast in the mornings and provided us with several great recommendations for things to see during our hikes. I would highly recommend Brantfell to anyone visiting Ambleside.

The hosts were fantastic, friendly, helpful, and full of local knowledge. Breakfast was cooked to order and extremely tasty. Room was very clean with high quality products. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Free reserved parking was very close.

Very warm and friendly welcome from our hosts. The location was ideal, our hosts provided plenty of advice where to go. The room was very calm and tidy. It had all the facilities, including tea & coffee. Last but not least, breakfast was amazing! A wonderful experience I highly recommend!

I generally do not write a review unless something is extraordinarily good or extremely bad. It didn't surprise me that when I logged in to review this Inn that they already had a 5 star rating. It was an extraordinarily good experience. My friend and I booked a 6 day walking tour with a group where our luggage was carried from town to town and we hiked. We are so grateful that the first two nights of our journey began at Brantfell House with Aide and Mandy as it could not have been more perfect. They are the most gracious hosts I've ever stayed with in any type of lodging situation. Their meticulous attention to detail and to ensuring that their guests are thoroughly cared for is a welcome salve for someone who travels a lot and has missed such genuine interest and care. The room itself was like a warm blanket and the service was a 15 on a scale of 1-10. Yes, it truly was that good. If I'm ever fortunate enough to return to Ambleside, I would eagerly book here again. Thank you so much, Aide and Mandy, for your warmth, kindness, humor and genuine hospitality.

Great location, excellent facilities, wonderful breakfasts with an extremely varied choice and all cooked to order. Our hosts Adie & Mandy were lovely making us feel really welcome and their knowledge of the area is second to none. We will definitely be staying here again when we next visit the Lakes!

We've just returned from a fabulous break at the Brantfell House B & B. Adie & Mandy are fantastic hosts and really help guests get the best out of the local area with suggestions on great places to eat & places of interest to visit. The breakfasts are delicious with lots of choice available. This was our third visit to this lovely B & B and it will not be our last!

Amazing hosts as always, go the extra mile, quality high spec, good food, parking, offered use of the lounge to bring back our dinner, nothing too much trouble. Booking again. Amazing views, perfect for walkers, family and friends. Right next to all amenities inc cafes restaurants and the ferry.

This cozy bed and breakfast house was chosen for our hiking group in Ambleside by the tour company arranging our travel, and I was very glad they did. Mandy met us at the door and reviewed how the house and breakfast work. She assigned us our rooms, and ours was on the top floor. We had a few flights of stairs to climb, but since we were there to hike it was not a problem. Thankfully, Adie carried our bags up! The room was very comfortable. We had a separate sitting room which was nice. The bathroom had a great shower. We slept well in the beds. Adie was an excellent host. He gave us so much information about the town and had been on many of the trails. He clearly enjoyed visiting with the guests and sharing Ambleside with us. Mandy cooked up delicious breakfasts. The eggs were always perfectly cooked. We had choices from the full English breakfast, fruits, croissants oatmeal. The food was elegantly plated, the coffee and tea delicious. The House is located across from the park with easy access to the trails, the restaurants, and public transit. I would definitely recommend the Brantfell house to my friends and stay here again.

The best thing about this place are the couple who run it. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and help you with anything they can. We found this place very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Would stay here again for sure.

We stayed at Brantfell House for 2 nights this week as part of a 7-day circular walk around the lakes. This was our favourite place out of all the accommodations. The hosts are a lovely couple who couldn’t do enough for us including finding free parking for our car while we walked. The breakfast is out of this world and the rooms are very comfortable. The accommodation cannot be faulted and we much preferred this smaller hostelry over the bigger ones we stayed at where there is no personal touch. Highly recommend!
