For sure this hotel was the last as part of our organised section of our tour of the dolomites. There is a lady on reception, the face of the hotel remember, who needs to go back to hospitality school. She occasionally borders on hostility. I shan’t name her but she’s a lousy goof. The hotel is being done up with construction across the floors. No noise that I noticed but aesthetically it disappoints. The spa was decent enough for twenty euros. Good sauna and streaming rooms, for sure, and the pool is fine. But the exotic sounding ice wall which piqued my interest was out of order. We booked in a sports massage with Madeline who did a fantastic job of untangling our knotted muscles and other soft tissues / tendons. I felt so content and renewed afters. She is an excellent masseuse. We dined in the restaurant for dinner. Almost comical service from our waiter but his heart was in the right place. The food was above average. See pics for details but the dining room is tired (not been refurbed yet). Breakfast was mediocre but the coffee was incredible. The grounds are lovely with exciting views of the mountains.

Be forewarned that this hotel has an extremely strict cancellation policy. It was my mistake that I did not write down the name of the hotel where I made a reservation. They took my credit card information online but there was no transaction for me to trace back to the reservation. Finally I had to reserve a different place or we wouldn’t have a place to stay. I understand that they needed to charge me for the night I didn’t show. Maybe even a second night would be fair. But four nights?! That’s ridiculously strict.

Great stay. After hiking in the Dolomites for 4 days we were tired and sore. Laura made us feel very welcome and taken care of. We booked a massage, spa visit and lovely dinner. Our room was upgraded to a large, airy room with magnificent views to the mountains. Breakfasts were generous and the entire staff accommodating and friendly. Loved our stay here.

I cannot recommend this Hotel enough. Not only is it a comfortable distance from the centre of Agordo and a bus stop, the building itself is a joy to stay in. The breakfast was good and the hours agreeable. What I was blown away most by, was the staff and their cooperation and friendliness to make sure you enjoyed your stay in the hotel and Italy as a whole. In our case, we had run into difficult walking the Alta Via 1 and needed to reassess the route and rejoin it. The staff were willing to talk at length about the area, bus stops and issues to look out for. A huge thank you to Martina, who, by offering to get a friend to give us a lift, probably saved the majority of our holiday.

We (family of 3) stayed in a triple room for one night at this hotel at the cost of €250 including breakfast. This price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the region, yet still utterly disgraceful for the service we received and the state of the hotel in general. Check in was fine, somewhat marred by the smelly brown water in the vase of dead flowers on the counter. Late afternoon we wanted to have a drink on the terrace. We waited half an hour but nobody came. When we went inside to reception to ask if we could have a drink, we were told to order at the pool bar. Nobody was at the pool bar! Finally, someone came outside to take our order. We nursed our drinks for two hours - nobody came to ask if we wanted anything else. After putting our son to bed, we went downstairs to the bar. Despite sitting there for one hour, nobody came to ask if we wanted to order anything. Even despite sitting at the same table as a couple who had to ask (and wait 30 mins!) for a drink. The bedroom was hot, there was no air conditioning. The woollen blanket on our son’s bed was unnecessary. Although the old furniture has a certain charm, the loud rattling of the wardrobe any time anyone moved was irritating. Walls were as thin as cardboard - we could hear the upstairs neighbours enjoying some adult time, conversations in the hallway and people outside on the terrace until late at night. Breakfast was absolutely not worth the money. Scrambled eggs that looked and tasted like they were made three days prior, no gluten free alternatives, juice that was not fresh nor refilled and again nobody who asked if we would like a coffee/tea. Check out was equally as abysmal - we waited for fifteen minutes, and the bell twice and when finally someone came, no questions were asked if we had a good stay, no apology for keeping us waiting etc. The only positive part of our experience was the view which was beautiful. Strongly recommend that you pay a little more to stay in a better place. We will most definitely not be back.

I find it an average hotel, nothing exceptional, the rooms you can choose with a low rate but they are extremely small, good value for money, really excellent breakfast, wide choice, small gym you have to train on your own because there are few machines. I gave three stars because, unlike the rest of the staff, the only super kind, welcoming and polite people were Tania, who served breakfast, and Alessandro, waiter in the restaurant at lunch. They did a great job. If it weren't for them I probably would have given two stars.

It's not my habit to write, but this time precisely so that no one gets ripped off just doing it, Agordo is beautiful, the staff are helpful, kind, and very helpful, dirty rooms, doors that close if you give them a hard knock that when you're in the room you feel all the others when they leave the rooms, the problem described three stars but it doesn't deserve even one. Dated hotel, very nice, but poorly maintained. The rooms are not very clean, the power sockets are disconnected and there is dust. Very kind at the reception, and also the dining room staff, other people present who were not well defined about their role with unkind ways. Even annoyed while I was asking for help from a mechanic, as I was left stranded with the car alone and with two children left in the room. No availability other than a phone number given in a hurry because they had to continue with their speech. The mechanic took me back to the hotel. Overpriced restaurant, little choice for children and not definable as gourmet. (I'm a cook) The chef still tried to satisfy the need, but a semolina fusilli with duck ragù for 18 euros was too much. We were warned that the pizzeria was only closed at the time of the session... 3 first courses and a second course 102 EUR. Cold pool water (28 degrees) and barely 20 degrees in the indoor area. (Spa and swimming pool entrance for children 40 euros. Triple cost 160 euros for an adult and two children aged 10-15. Total with the second dinner 400 euros for two days using a voucher for one night. One night and 2 dinners 400 euros. ( Ahhh! A liquid chocolate and a coffee!) Very beautiful landscape

It was a total disappointment, absolutely not corresponding to the photos seen on the internet, really badly maintained room, completely ruined parquet floor, lack of cover plates on some sockets in the room, even the plug came off and you couldn't even put in a cell phone charger, very cold bathroom with presence of mold in the corners no presence of a shower cubicle but of a tub with a bulkhead a plexiglass cover to prevent the water from coming out a disgrace never seen in a castle shutters of the bedroom hall very old very dated the door was completely peeling paint from the wood to close this shutter. There was even a completely rusty iron bar and other completely rusty parts, see photo. The window had a dangling seal. It didn't close properly and airtight. The air passed through the cracks because it wasn't well aligned with the window. window the door was made of iron and not wood of the bedroom with written direction that This means that it is a room that was created later really very very disappointed by this whole dilapidated structure as regards the breakfast everything was quite good We managed to have it quite regularly on the first morning... even on the second morning a copy arrived after us at 9.22am and was left without food for breakfast he was asked to make some eggs on the fly A scandalous thing very very disappointed by all this situation also because we were a couple also because it was supposed to be a surprise for my wife in the end we also gave up on the spa because it didn't seem right to us to spend more money. Especially since we got €63 each to sleep which was a disgrace together with clearly the breakfast. This was a structure that absolutely needs to become two stars. As for the room and breakfast and the amount I would have had to pay since I have seen many hotels this could have been a maximum of €40/50, it was already a lot

The room was little more than a closet, they warned me but one cell is too much... honestly the food was good even if not cheap but the rest I have to say is really not, poorly trained staff evidently lack of experience, at breakfast it is not possible to request a extra coffee if not paid for, I would say a slip that says a lot about the management. There's no point in having so many niceties and wellness centers if there isn't a basic level of hospitality.

I stayed at Villa Imperina for 1 and a half months for work purposes. The structure overlooks the Dolomites and is welcoming, with rooms of different types, sizes and conditions. The property also offers laundry service and spa/gym (although the latter have never been used). Furthermore, the lounge bar is the ideal place to relax, perhaps sitting on the sofa in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine. During such a long stay, the employees made the difference and soon Villa Imperina almost became home. The receptionists (Sabrina, Pietro, Nadia and Laura), the room manager (Gianmarco) and the waiters (Asia and Ezechiel) have gone from carrying out their work to taking care of each of the workers housed in the facility, remaining available for any need .

We had a wonderful stay and ate very well. The staff were very welcoming and especially organised. We were pampered for 3 days and we were struck by the way in which, especially during meals, we were satisfied with all our needs, sometimes even anticipating them!!!!

I can't say enough about the wonderful place!! The view from the garden and from the room is enchanting... The food is excellent, both the dishes on the menu and the breakfast full of food and very good, even the tarts they make are delicious! The staff at Sala Pietro are very friendly and always helpful, also very knowledgeable about wines...The boy who helps Luca in the dining room is very helpful and approachable, very quick and nice. The room is very nice and the bed super comfortable!
