We recently went on a family trip and stayed for two nights, making two separate bookings. On the last night, the receptionist informed us that our room was not included for children. However, the website clearly stated that children under 12 stay for free. I didn't want to argue in front of the kids, but despite the receptionist's smile, we didn’t feel welcomed at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Love staying at Ardoe, step back in time, love the decor and ambience of the lounges. Lovely big bedrooms with super comfy bed

The hotel was amazing, great service, clean and great atmosphere. The only cons (to say any) is that the spa is not really a spa, its a swimming pool. The signage to get there are a bit confusing. Overall the best hotel we stayed in Scotland

Excellent Hotel and stay clean and friendly and Thanks to lovely Lady at Reception when We checked in and to Events Staff who assisted Me with Bags they were all outstanding.

Hello and good morning ,still waiting on a refund from the first time we made a mistake with the booking ,we stopped over absolutely fantastic stay ,but we are still waiting on a refund ,the 28th July was a mistake booking ,which they already knew other than that the stay was lovely

Room was very dirty on arrival, the floors needed vacuumed, and bathroom needing cleaned. Shower and tap was faulty, no cold water available therefore shower was scolding hot and unusable. Nice hotel but needs a good clean and not worth the price tag.

A lovely hotel with leisure and spa facilities. Dogs were welcome in most parts of the hotel, with a £20 per dog per night charge. Breakfast was well stocked with lots of options. Would stay again!

Lovely clean and spacious room with amazing bathroom. Spa awesome but treatments are a little on the pricey side. Only down point is restaurant and bar service is abit here and there on when or if you will be served.

Lovely country house hotel on the southern edge of Aberdeen with easy access to city. Welcoming hotel with a very traditional feel in the main building. Bedrooms are modern and our Standard room was well equipped with a large double bed and plenty of tea coffee etc. The hotel is dog friendly for a small charge. We had lovely cooked breakfasts and continental also available. We ate breakfast in the drawing room, as dogs understandably not allowed in main restaurant. We only ate in the bar area one evening which was cosy and fast service. Friendly staff and nice touch of a Birthday platter delivered to room in recognition of a significant Birthday being celebrated.
