I stayed for two nights on the first floor in a bunk bed.
It was my first time staying at this type of accommodation, but I had a comfortable stay.
My mom is also a nice person, and she was using it for a Johnny's concert.
My mom is also a Queen fan, and when she told me about going to a LIVE show next year, it was easy to talk to her because I felt a little sympathy for her ^ ^
This is truly a hotel with a rich sense of history. It even has a hot spring bath on the basement level. On the second floor, there's a unique communal sleeping area – I wasn't entirely sure of its purpose, but it definitely adds to the hotel's charm. Many Western families with children were staying there, and everyone conscientiously maintained the hotel's cleanliness and took care of its facilities. The biggest drawback, however, is the shared male and female restrooms. Almost every restroom included men's urinals, which felt a bit awkward. It's quite jarring to open a door and unexpectedly find someone at a urinal, especially if you weren't aware the room was occupied. While the Kawaguchiko location was good and the Takayama one was the most comfortable, this hotel truly stands out with its unique character. A century-old establishment.
I used it with my friends. I am very satisfied! !! !!
There were various places around sightseeing
There is a place like a cave under the Buddha statue.
Although the location is relatively remote, it feels very good to stay and it feels like a vacation. The shared spaces (living room and kitchen) are very spacious.
Hygiene is very good, the surrounding area is very clean
The scenery is beautiful, you can see Mount Fuji
In the evening, I cook dinner in the kitchen and chat with my family and friends in the living room. It’s very formal!
Will stay here again next time 🥰
Extremely friendly owner and staff. My car battery died because I left the lights on without knowing it. The owner and staff helped me to start the car. Also Guyaume made great suggestions that was valuable to my trip. Everything is nice, well maintained just as commented by everyone else. Hands down best place ever visited. Top tier hostel worldwide.
Oh and if you want to go to that signature Lawson for photo, stay here. It’s close enough to walk drive bike before sunrise so you get pink Fuji.
It's near Mt Fuji station to access train & intercity bus, within walk range. I book twin room with mountain view, all good, very clean, tidy, comfortable, & quiet (very good to catch deep sleep after your busy day traveling). Bathroom, washtafel, kitchen are shared in very good condition & comes in complete amenities & tools! They provide free coffee, tea, homemade bread, block ice, & all seasoning for cooking. Very nice!
*I forgot to capture bed & bathroom in empty condition, lol

GGuest Usergot bored with tokyo in a long trip
decided to go up yamanashi for a few days
took a night of rest in this place since it was already late & no more buses to where im going
place is amazing for a quick and worry free night, but do pay attention that all guests will have to leave the capsule during 1000-1500, if i remember correctly, even if you stay for two nights
capsules are clean, ventilated, decently-sound-isolated, with nice power options to charge up your stuff
went to 3 capsules in my trip and i believe this is also the biggest capsule among the three
also literally right next to fuji-q, didnt plan to go to fuji-q originally but it was so close that i decided to spend a morning in it, pretty nice
would recommend as:
- a station in fujiyoshida for further trips into yamanashi
- a fuji-q hotel alternative
- a fairly priced capsule with good essentials

GGuest UserThe owner was excellent! While the hotel's location was a bit remote, the overall experience was fantastic. We contacted the owner, and they even arranged pick-up and drop-off for us. A truly wonderful stay, highly recommended!
