Bobopod Malioboro, Yogyakarta

Malioboro
This capsule hotel chain has many stores throughout Indonesia. I stayed in their stores almost all the time in Indonesia. It is really good for single travel! The price of a youth hostel but you can enjoy an environment close to a single room. The design of their capsules is relatively reasonable. At least there is standing space when you enter (although the space is not large, it is enough). The full app operation is also very convenient. It is a blessing for social phobia. The key is that the management of this chain is very standardized. The hygiene of basically every store can be guaranteed! The bed sheets are absolutely changed for each guest, and the public toilets and bathrooms are also cleaned regularly! I really hope that their stores can be opened all over Southeast Asia! I really recommend it! ! !
The Packer Lodge Yogyakarta - Hostel

Dagen Street
The hotel is not big but clean and tidy, and the price is right. There is no TV, but other hotels with TVs do not have channels. So in a hotel like Yogyakarta, as long as it is clean and hygienic and has hot water for bathing, the price is directly proportional to the hotel. Come in You all need slippers, and you can make some simple food in the public area downstairs. You can make your own fried egg, coffee and noodles, which is very convenient. The location is on a small road on the main road of Malioboro. There are snacks downstairs. The main road is right outside. It is very close to everywhere. The train station is a 10-minute walk away.
Museum Batik Hotel

Danurejan
The Yogyakarta Batik Museum Hotel combines Javanese culture with modern comfort. The exquisite batik artworks in the museum showcase the local traditional craftsmanship and are very distinctive. The room is clean and comfortable, and the decoration is full of cultural atmosphere. The hotel is strategically located for exploring Yogyakarta city and surrounding attractions. The service is friendly and thoughtful. It is an ideal accommodation choice for travelers who love art and culture. Highly recommended!
Arkananta Villa - Hostel

(+) : Strategic location, the room is clean and pretty spacious, the villa ambiance feels homey and very quiet, free water, coffee, and tea in the common area, good Wi-Fi, and friendly staff. (-) : Parking is not so spacious, no sink in the bathroom, low room amenities, no TV signal, and a lack of power outlets in the room.
Omahku Homestay

The place is nice and cozy with a good atmosphere. However toilet is always wet and you're expected to step on it barefoot (or with shower slippers) if you're not prepared for it it can feel weird. There's hot water in the shower which is great though. Air conditioning is cold. No towels provided but there's soap.
JOGJA DAY INN

Kotagede
The receptionist is friendly and quick, easy access even though it is in an alley but not far from the main road, but more attention needs to be paid to the cleanliness of the bedroom and bathroom because of the unpleasant smell. The bathrooms are all on the upper floor so it's a bit lazy to go to the toilet lol.

It's really comfortable, I regretted not staying here the first day I came to Jogja 😔 But it's okay for 4 days to rest here... will stay here... The room is comfortable, I like the design of the room... Don't add an electric kettle so if you want to drink coffee you don't have to worry about going out

It was my first time using a capsule hotel, and I was embarrassed because it was so cheap, but it's cheap, so I think it's a good choice for poor backpackers. The location is so great! And there is a restaurant that we run together, so it's good to have a cup of coffee.
