The hotel is one of the oldest hotels nearest to the pyramids. It's one minute walking distance to pyramids main entry. As an old infrastructure they tried to renovate at their best but however there may have lacking ie. Lights functioning, lock system etc. But I recommend all for their wholehearted support and generosity towards their guests. They are all the way helpful. You can also book transportation from them, I believe that will reduce your troubles outside with taxi negotiations.
It is super close to the east gate of the pyramid, 2 minutes, and the window is the pyramid and the Sphinx. Although it is the hotel environment, it is a great scenery. It is not too good to watch the pyramid light show on the rooftop of the building, saving the tickets to go in.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast was amazing—beautifully served, and you could really see the dedication put into it. The entire hotel was spotless, and when I turned on the shower, I could smell the bleach, which reassured me of the high level of cleanliness. It’s also a very quiet place, perfect for a relaxing stay. One of the best parts is the convenience of having a mini fridge in the room and a Carrefour right next door. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Cairo!
The hotel has a great view of the pyramids and the city life, literally right across the street. They have a rooftop restaurant. The managers were kind and always available. As a solo traveling woman I felt invited and safe. The room is small but clean and had everything I needed. Wifi was tricky so be prepared for that. I do reccommend this hotel for short stays in Cairo!
Bardzo miła rodzinna obsługa. Cenne wskazówki, na co uważać. Pokoje czyste, z klimatyzacją ustawioną na 24c czyli idealnie. Woda bez limitu. Ładny widok, śniadanie na tarasie. Polecam
Wonderfully kind staff who upgraded our room for free and were completely helpful. My girlfriend was sexually assulted 2 minutes from the hotel on the main road in broad daylight. I know this isn't the fault of the hotel (obviously) but the area isn't safe for women! Would love to leave a positive review because the staff were kind and the room was beautiful, but I can't reccomend staying in this area given our experience. We had to leave after 2 nights after a 5 night stay because we didn't feel safe going outside anymore.

GGuest UserThe staff are all very helpful.
The toilet and shower are also beautiful. There are soap, tissues and toilet paper.
The door has a key and a chain lock. There is also a safe in the room.
It was a very nice hotel. I moved to a different hotel now but I want to return to this hotel again (-_-)

HHazimmmmGreat stay! As soon as we entered the hotel, we were warmly greeted by the owner and welcomed with some yogurt and congee a satisfying treat after a long flight. The hotel has the feel of an Airbnb or homestay, as it is located in an apartment building. The location is excellent, with an ATM, cafes, and a supermarket all on the same street.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding service and hospitality. The staff are genuinely kind and helpful, giving us a sense of safety which is especially comforting in a city like Cairo, where you're often approached by people trying to sell you something. Their team goes above and beyond, even accompanying guests to buy fresh fruits if needed.
The owner, Ismail, speaks Arabic, Chinese, and English fluently. As a former tour guide, he offered great recommendations for things to do around Egypt which was especially helpful for us since we didn’t have a strict itinerary. He also helped us navigate Cairo, including how to get to the pyramids and how to use inDrive for ride-hailing, essential information we wouldn't have known otherwise.
As a Singaporean, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone from the region, given its affordability and exceptional service. The pyramid view alone makes it worth staying here!
SSkee82Staff Amazingly friendly and helpful, The views are incredible from room to resturant to roof top, where i got to watch and hear the evening light show in fully glory.
Booked for my 1st 2nights in Egypt, perfect location in front of the sphinx side entrance to the plateau, literally a 2 min walk..
This side of Giza is rough and ready though.. with animals being housed on the ally leading to the entrance so expect the smell of horse and camel poo (which wasn’t a problem once in the hotel) also expect to be bothered a lot by the local hustlers and kids begging for something/anything..
The streets are noisy and hectic this side but you also get a more authentic Giza experience,
The Hotels staff were super accommodating and welcoming, they were willing to help organise trips and guides but I wasn’t in need as i already had stuff arranged..
Breakfast was basic but enough to get your day of adventure started with plenty of option around for off site dinning.
The best thing apart from the staff was the view tho.. with all 3 great pyramids and sphinx in view and close enough to get the full effect inc the sounds of the light show.
Would recommend for a cheap budget stay close to the entrance of the plateau with the best views

GGuest UserOur stay at Families Inn Hotel was absolutely wonderful! As a new hotel, it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is unbeatable—just minutes away from everything you could possibly need, whether it's shopping, sightseeing, or restaurants. It made exploring Egypt so easy and stress-free!
What really stood out was the balance between privacy and top-notch service. The staff was incredibly respectful, giving us the space we needed to relax, while always being available—day or night—whenever we needed anything. That kind of attentiveness without being intrusive is rare and deeply appreciated, especially when traveling with family.
The hotel is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort.
We highly recommend Families Inn to anyone visiting Egypt—especially families looking for convenience, comfort, and genuine care. We'll definitely be back!

KKing AttarI recently stayed at Khan DuiDar Inn in Giza and had a pleasant experience. The hotel was very clean, which made for a comfortable stay.
The view of the Pyramids from the terrace was a real highlight and made for a lovely backdrop while relaxing.
The staff were also friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive vibe of the hotel.
While the neighborhood is quite old and poor, as expected, stepping into the hotel felt like entering a calm oasis.
Overall, I recommend Khan DuiDar Inn for anyone visiting Giza. It’s a clean, welcoming place with great views!
AAnonymous UserIt was nice to have a room with a view of the pyramids, but it was quite noisy during the day because it was along the road. It was great to be able to have breakfast while looking at the pyramids! Also, it was only about 100m to the ticket office, so it was very convenient. There were shops nearby so I had no trouble buying drinks and snacks. I could get around by Uber bike for a cheap price, so even though it was far from the old town, it wasn't a problem.
鄙鄙德潘Booked on Ctrip, checkin the same day, the waiter didn't receive my order and asked me to resubmit $ 20 to rebook. Find Ctrip to deal with, Ctrip is very enthusiastic and has repeatedly confirmed that the communication with the booking agent is paid and no further payment is required. After communicating for one morning, I decided to refund the order and go to another hotel for reservation. As a result, when the waiter saw that I was going to die, he refused to pay an additional 20 dollars and immediately made a mistake at 180 degrees. Let me live right away. I'm drunk too. The people here have a deep routine. The instant impression is down. The only advantage of this hotel is that the sunset of the pyramid can take the horizon, and the rest of the facilities can not be complimented. Recommend this hotel for the second night (Pyramid Valley Boutique Hotel). The facilities are very good, and the waiter boss is enthusiastic. The boss's son also invited me to drink Coke at night, free of charge. Focus on helping him promote it. The most important thing when traveling is to be honest and not pit each other. Pictures are from pyramides valley. Hygiene is much better than this one. Bringing a girl is not recommended to stay in this hotel, take it to the bottom of the Golden Tower ...
