If you're planning to visit the Harbin Ice and Snow World, remember to purchase spikes at the counter (8 YUAN). It's affordable and can prevent falls and injuries. Unfortunately, I slipped on the ice and badly hurt my ankle. Luckily, there's a nearby hospital, Harbin Shengfeng Hospital, just a 10-15 minute walk away (you can use Google Maps). The doctors there are helpful, but they don't speak English, so bring your passport and use Google Translate if needed. On a brighter note, I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. They have a large mirror and a hot water station where you can prepare instant noodles. Although they don't have a kitchen, you can easily get utensils and a mug from nearby convenience stores, especially if you're planning to make coffee. One thing I found really convenient was the international charger ports provided for each bed. Before checking out, remember to strip your bed and leave a note in the lobby to indicate your presence. I left a Malaysian flag as my mark.

Overall, the staff and management were exceptionally helpful and kind, making the stay highly recommendable. However, I would like to highlight one concern. When booking, I filtered for a room accommodating 2 adults and the 1-bed option appeared in the search results. Upon arrival, I was informed that the booking was for 1 person instead of 2. If the booking system cannot properly align with the filters applied, such options should not be displayed. Additionally, there was no prompt or reminder indicating the discrepancy during the booking process, which I find unusual as an experienced traveler accustomed to using various platforms. While this issue has been updated and resolved, I believe users should be made aware of such potential oversights to avoid inconvenience.

The room is clean, hygienic, quiet, and warm. The hotel owner is considerate and enthusiastic. It is very close to the morning market on Central Street and Red Brick Street. The transportation is very convenient. You need to bring toiletries and slippers in advance. The prices in the supermarkets near the hotel are also low, which is OK. After checking in, I went shopping to buy some. I bought a toothbrush and toothpaste for 5 yuan in total. There are great barbecues around and the price is affordable. If you come by yourself or with your best friends, this is a good choice~

Directly next to CENTRAL STREET, the must go place in Harbin. GOOD Eateries and grocerie just next door. Directions by bus or subway to popular tourist spots are written on the notice board. The operator work and sleep behind the counter. Can get assistance at any time.Very popular with youths. BAD Need to obtain toilet paper from counter. Using stairs to reach below road level hostel entrance not suitable for traveller with bulky luggage.

Heating are functions well.is essy to reach by didi.near to the metro station..i recommen who want to visit harbin to book this hotel.owner are so friendly even their cannt fully speak english .but everything going so smooth.you can communicate with them in english.if one day i come again to harbin.i will again to this hotel

Suitable for solo trip. It is a real 青旅 which promotes 青旅 culture a lot. We got to know people from different places. Nothing to complain, but only rent if you are looking for youth hostel or backpacker lodge.

This youth hostel is just the best youth hostel I have ever been to. The people are really nice, friendly and can speak english. This is a must place in Harbin. It's a lot of fun for kids and adults to be able to be creative, cook, and play music or sing on the stage. We made a pen out of wood, and made some baozi. I recommend it for people who want to have fun and make some new friends. We have great souvenirs of this place and hope to be able to come back soon. The Springer family
